How do you physically and emotionally brutally terrorize children daily...for Years...and only get 7 years?!?
It's actually rare for them to get any jail time at all unless they kill the kids.
I was in a group with Victoria years ago and was amazed by her strength and will to survive. She used her horrific experiences to help others. Even though she had a loving partner, after Eunice was released I felt she found it harder to cope and eventually took her own life. Chris is an amazing man and I wish him a long and happy life.
"Our sentence is never done" this is the part I wish more people understood. I'm so thankful you & your siblings were able to be saved from the abuse & I really wish you all the best in your healing.
@topher2113 •I can so relate to that I felt like I was serving a sentence for a crime I had not committed?If that makes sense.I don’t so much now I had to have and do my own therapy mine was not family but I don’t think that not getting any form of justice helped .I remember one of my nurses a psychiatric nurse I had anorexia PTSD etc ?He said “Your not just a diagnosis,your far more than that many people could never have survived or been brave enough to report it ,I never got justice but I personally know that for me I did the correct thing?Turned out other young girls had also been abused by him ?I try my very very hardest just to focus on how far I have come and think of how worthless he is .That as long as he stays well away from me I shall use the anger to keep me well ?If that makes sense I no longer feel a victim I feel more like a survivor of something barbaric that far to many people go through.This has a lifelong effect of devastation I often think ,what would my life be like without this happening?But it’s taught me to value the really small things I no longer have Flashbacks ,night terrors I don’t fear him I seriously hope he fears me more .He knows what he did I am no longer 7 Years Old I am an adult and I am not going to spend my life living in silence and fear it’s not something I can change I had a terrible accident as a result of trying to take my life I felt so worthless.As a mother ,sister ,daughter even friend that really taught me whom is loyal whom is kind what do I value.Why people would be shocked having said really awful things to my face about my accident?Or to my son they where shocked if I actually eventually felt like telling them -I just feel like it’s not something that defines whom I am and sharing is fine but it’s the lack of understanding the shock “Why did you not tell me this is people that I was not personally close to so why would I want to tell them it’s not like I have S/& physically abused at 7 Years Old on my forehead.Its not that it defines us completely it’s like being in a club that none of us ever got the choice to say we don’t want to be in it .”Not a movement or a # none of us are Statistics we all matter !

Thank goodness you survived, it may take you a whole lifetime to heal, you may never fully, but you have already helped those not as far down the road to recovery as you appear to be. I am happy for you that you have found a partner, which shows there are some people you can trust. I hope you continue the work of healing, and that you eventually get some form of peace.

Has there ever been a good foster story? Why aren't these people reviewed and investigated before and during their fostering? Why aren't the kids examined by doctors on a monthly basis? It seems only terrible people with bad intentions want to foster.
The wee boy says he was hit too although not hard.
I feel for him too because he was treated like a baby apparently. When he was far too old. She basically tried infantise him.
I hope the whole family is healing.
The parents and whole family must have felt so guilty.
They try to make the adult son or daughter feel like a child and belittle them I know trust me
Why are they showing him in the hospital as a grown man ?
Because he still suffers with health problems from her beatings aswell has his sisters too one took her own life though.

As the man (Gen 1:26-28) KJV, a husband (Gen 2:21-25) and a father (Gen 3:16), the minister of God (Rom 13), teacher (Eph 4) and one of the survivors who was bullied in school, I am so sorry this happened to you. Gen 3 is a "Monster" (2003). Monsters do what monsters do. I personally stay away from monsters, because I have always understood monsters do not care for me. I was telling my wife, I can not teach the word of God, then live contrary to the word of God. That would make me a hypocrite. That is not a good title to have. Eph 5:22-33, 6:1-4
And yet, you've turned out to be a kind hearted, loving person. I have the utmost admiration for you, Chris.

Yeah these evil mother's always play victim "oh I was sad " they get off the hook rather easy.
She did not get proper punishment for what she did she should never have been released she deserves the same punishment as she gave the children then locked away till her death

You were let down by all the adults in your life. Please don't EVER give up working to uncover the self-compassion, the understanding and self-love that's in you and that you
deserve. Not ever! Unlike for others, your peace of mind has to be put together like a puzzle and with much gentle care.
Christopher….I’ve seen your video for the first time, just 10-15 minutes ago. I want to say, I experienced just a FRACTION of what you describe, but relate totally to your comments. My own mother had a similar violent part within herself, and both myself and my father were victims to her aggression. I have witnessed her attacking my Dad from behind with an onyx ashtray by striking him in the back of the skull when he had no idea it was coming. My Dads head bled so much, but she continued to attack him. She hit me on the back of my head with a large frying pan once from behind also….So, I do have horrible memories of my childhood too. Nowhere near as bad as yours though, I must say.
Anyway…..my point is this. I truly hope you are managing to find a good life. Things can change….things do change. And, we can change them ourselves.
I remember thanking my Mother once for showing me how NOT to live my life and treat people close to me. And, I’ve lived my life my way ever since….in a very happy place.

As an 8 year old, I used to lock my 2 yr old sister in a wardrobe just to keep her safe.
These people do not deserve responsibility, or children, or anything for that matter.

Europe has the WORST justice system.....14 years? She only served 7? Here in America we definitely have our own prison problems, like privatized prisons full of low level drug offenders etc .......but we at least get justice for abuse and murder. And down here in the south, you may be on death row. And life sentences literally mean till u die. Not 15-20 years like in other countries. It's crazy.

Of course there will be rare occasions where someone so wrongly convicted, just like every other country in this world will do, but this is no where near common so don’t even try to act like it is. 99.9% of criminals in prison are in there because they deserve it and are guilty . I’m so sorry for what that monster put you and your siblings through! I’ve read both your book and Victoria’s book and I was sick to my stomach the entire time. Your story has always stuck with me and I periodically search TH-cam for news about you both. That’s how I learned a couple of weeks ago of Victoria’s death and all I can say is I’m incredibly sorry for your loss. She seemed like an amazing woman and she left this world way too soon.
To survive this for an adult is hard for for these children is unbearable. My thoughts are with these siblins.

Why isn’t child abuse the biggest social justice issue in the media and politics ?
I am so sorry that Chistopher and his siblings were abused in such a horrific manner. I hope that they can get the help that they need. Ms Spry should have gotten a much longer sentance in prison. Jehovahs Witnesses do not condone child abuse. There is a huge difference between discipline and child abuse.
You deserve a good life. Please show kindness to children. Dont ever feel sorry for evil people. They just take it as weakness and continue their abusive ways.

I'm just so happy to hear you were able to maintain that fighting spirit of yours. It's so sad to hear your sister was not able to recover from her tormenter, but completely understandable. She striked me as the person who had no bad bone in her body, as do you. You are both strong and loving spirits. Completely opposite of Eunice, who is a huge coward. I think your sister stays with you, she is your guardian angel now. I think it's super remarkable you are still able to smile. I admire you and Victoria a lot 💖💖

So sorry you and your siblings went through this..I was a foster carer for 7 years and cried when they cut their knee..how was she allowed to continue this abuse? Where was social services? They intervene.. check up on kids.. go to meetings to see your welfare and education needs are being met? Your so strong ..I wish you well in the future but she should av got life xs
British prisons are very overcrowded so they are letting people really early to make room for more.
How dreadful. Have you ever been able to confront Spry for what she did to you? Have you had any contact with your biological parents? Did the siblings who were not abused ever help you - although sounds like your brother may have been too young? Hope you are continuing to heal and enjoy life.

It breaks my heart and blows my mind how anyone could even think about doing these horrible things to children. I don't care what they supposedly did or who's kids they are or anything. They are innocent little children.
Lord what I would do for 30 minutes alone in a room with this monster. I know that makes me a monster as well but some people deserve nothing more than to be beaten to death with a hammer. Fuck this hurt me so badly.
