  • In today's compelling episode of Unfiltered Stories, we have the honor of featuring Asha Adira's inspiring life journey. From a tender age, Asha faced the heartbreaking reality of being subjected to inappropriate behavior by adult men on multiple occasions. The fact that some of these individuals were people she knew, such as neighbors or acquaintances of her family, shattered her sense of safety and security within her own home.
Despite the immense challenges Asha has faced, she considers herself fortunate to be in a position where she can make a positive difference in the lives of children who have experienced similar circumstances. Through her unwavering dedication and determination, Asha has channeled her painful past into a powerful driving force for change and empowerment. She actively works to support and uplift these children, providing them with the guidance, resources, and compassion they need to heal and thrive. Asha's story serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us that even in the face of unimaginable adversity, we have the strength within us to not only survive but also to create meaningful change in the world. Join us as we listen to her awe-inspiring journey and bear witness to the transformative power of resilience and compassion. #UnfilteredStories #SurvivorStories

Thank you for sharing your story. I can relate to being molested young, feeling low self esteem and frozen when being r*ped later as a young teen. I felt that God did not care about me because he didn’t save me, but the truth is, God does not control any of us. These men chose to do evil against us. We did not deserve it. BUT he will help you deal with what happened to you and even bless your life if you don’t give up on yourself. Thank you for being brave to talk about your trauma and for helping others. Edit to say: I believe men who do this to children deserve the be locked way for life because they kill the person we could have been. But that does not mean we are forever damaged. With Gods help, we can do tremendous things.
