You're sooo right!! It's those times that I realize we're not making progress, so we might as well take a break and come back refreshed (hopefully! ;) ) Thank you!!
Hi its Victoria from home Educating the mad lads on the husbands phone. My oldest is dyslexic and he can get really upset when doing spelling. I bought a spelling work book with a timer on it sbd it's really helping him focus because he knows he won't be doing it forever x
That's awesome! What a great point too - that it helps give them a light at the end of the tunnel because some worksheets can feel overwhelming at first!
These are great, I love what you share here! The white noise might help one of my kids. Also the sticker per lesson to work towards a larger prize looks like something that would motivate everyone. Wonderful video!
Thank you!! Yes - I even like using the white noise (or a lo-fi playlist) when I work! The sticker chart was the only way we made it through that first year of learning to read, lol!!!
Actually I don't but support reward systems.I teach growth mindset to develop self motivation. I give my students words of affirmation and words of encouragement. I teach gifted students and they come to me once a week for 3-4 hours.
Great, great tips! Love the idea of having them chew gum/mints. We totally are using the star system now in our school for one of your previous videos!
Great ideas! Love the sticker with rewards, and the gum or sucking candy idea doubling as an incentive. Thanks for sharing! We are new to homeschool this year so I appreciate these video. New subscriber here🙋🏽♀️
Thanks! Welcome!! And welcome to homeschooling! How exciting! I have a lot of other homeschooling tip videos that can hopefully be helpful in the beginning of your journey! Good luck!!
Hi dear, could you tell how can my son get a wise using of laptop and doing his homework because their school rely on online educational websites, and also using the laptop on the class also
