Great video on the katana. I just received my Mavic 2 pro and need to find a way to shoot interior video for real estate shots. This makes it a whole lot easier than trying to fly inside! Great job explaining the steps you went thru to smooth out the video!
I had my mavic's prop hit my finger once when I was trying to hand catch it on a beach, it wasn't as bad as I thought, it hurt but didn't break the skin or bruise. The best part was that the mavic destabilised a bit then stabilised immediately after an didn't spank in! But don't worry it won't take your digits off :)
You are by far one of the best content providers on the Mavic Pro and associated topics on TH-cam. Content is great, style is great, personality is great. I've recommended your channel to others to subscribe and like your videos.
You dont want the weight of the of the aircraft on the back motor arms. Thats why the pads on the bottom plate are there. The back arms have a rotating axis pin, plus the arm is only attached by 3 small screws and some plastic parts. Its really not designed to support any weight. There are other landing gear extenders that clip on the bottom plate but I feel they just get in the way of the downward sensors. So my suggestion is to find a flat low cut surface or a small landing pad. A checkerboard landing pad for contrast for RTH is something to consider too.
When using the katana with the mavic pro how long is it suitable to leave mavic pro on before the aircraft starts to overheat? Because when your flying, the wind helps it cool, or does it even matter. Thanks . Aaron from Columbus Michigan.
Congratulations, VERY top YOUR VIDEOS, CONTENT AND IMAGES OF THE BEST QUALITY, I'm starting my channel, and I've put yours as a mirror, here in Brazil we have few options of information about mavic in Portuguese, I want to take advantage of this niche, I'm a repair specialist (Cell phones) about 20 years, I already made a lot of money in the beginning, but today it does not give more as before the cell phones are all uncatchable, so I started to repair drones exactly this month. Thanks your videos are helping me in relation To Mavic, continue with your videos are great
Thanks for the review. I think Im going to invest in all three of those items. especially the Katana. I was thinking about buying a digital DSLR. but this will surely save me a ton of money. I'm going to subscribe to your page. have a great day.
I order grimbel last night by smooth Q for $99 :) can't wait to play around with it. Every single video on my TH-cam channel i recorded with phones and right now I'm using Note 8
Great video. I like your style. Felt like I was sitting with you in the backyard having a friendly chat about tech plus I learnt a lot. Liked and subbed. Keep it up great job
Hi.. Yes really good gadget when walking around in public. However, you should try tripod mode without forward OA.. Its super simple and u can walk right behind in same way.. Gives very smooth movement footage over uneven ground and water .. Give it a go!
It's a great idea for a low budget, you can even find one for $24 by different company. but extremely non portable and complicated. Instead of just attaching your phone or camera on a Grimble and click record button. It's small, mobile and works better. And there is bunch of companies out there where you can find one for $150 or even cheaper that do the same as OSMOS can!!!
very nice info....maybe i buy one...talking about cinematic....why using 24 fps ? ( or here in Europe 25 ) when using the Katana...in faster movements you get unsharper video...i use the highest on 1080P 50 fps.. NO cinematic blurry video for me.. :)
I got a landing gear in the bundle I purchased from Koozam, seller on Amazon, they snap into a slot in the rear bottom that doesnt scratch the finish and looks better. Front extensions are basically the same.
Great video, you have to teach yourself not to bounce when you walk... Great review on the Katana, Gimbal Lock and Landing gear.I was going to buy the landing gear, but I wanted to see a review.. thanks !
Cool! I would definitely shoot in 1080, 60fps for that kind of action - then you could slow it down in post for some cool shots. Just leave everything on Auto, but adjust the white balance when you first get there. More than likely, it will be fluorescent lighting, so set it for that. You will be able to see on the screen if the color is wonky. Otherwise everything should be ok on Auto.
I'm enjoying your tutorials as I'm waiting for my mavic to arrive. The first video I watched was beginner video labeled part 1. I saw some titled parts 4, 5, etc. but never saw a part 2. I saw a couple titled mavic tips parts 1 and 2 and others on specific things like camera and gimbal settings. Is there an order you suggest in watching them? As an aside, I think it ironic you're promoting a Katana Mavic Tray which basically takes your $1000 flying Mavic and turns it into a $200 hand held video camera you walk with, which your phone already has LOL. No offense, it just seems over the top, but hey, my roots are in ND too (Fargo and Jamestown) so I understand!
Have you tried using the Mavic similar to say...a dash cam in a car? Does the image stabilization seem to work well enough to deal with the vibration of a larger vehicle?
Dude I took your word after watching this video, and I purchased the gimbal lock and the Katana. The gimbal lock gave me sticker shock because it ws about 3 times whaat I had guestimated on price. However, I get the molded vs rigid plastic so I purchased it anyway. I also like the fact that the camera lens is covered
The Katana is a beast. I also own the Ronin so I thought it would be cool to test this Katana out since I am using stbilization devices anyways and alwys looking for light compact, and easy travel. The Katana totally amazed me beyond words. If you think it is cheaper than the osmo, comprehensive it to the Ronin (1600.00). Totally cinematic!!! Thanks for posting.
Yeah I agree. Lots of these guys are up here in TH-cam making videos and just selling stuff from their sponsors. Now if it's something they really used then no worries but if it's because they were sent them then that's as bad as the big corps we often criticize
I am a recently new subscriber and absolutely love your videos which have been very helpful to me as I have just gotten a DJI mavic Pro in the last couple of days. I'm using my iPhone 5S as my monitor for the mavic, but I noticed as you were installing the katana, you are using the same phone that I own which is the Samsung S8 plus... How do you find the DJI go 4 app responsiveness on the Android platform? I am very concerned about my drone losing signal and flying away because I am hearing so many issues about the Android version of the go app.
Thanks Dave! I have had minimal issues at all with my S8+. Just a couple of times the Go 4 app has crashed while flying, but I just restart it and it comes right back up. My Mavic just hovers when that happens. Other than that, no problems. I did, however have issues with my Sony Xperia so I was happy to get rid of that.
Compensated, free gear, affiliate links... It's all the same difference in which the person speaking about them will benefit. Regardless, decent information which honestly felt like an infomercial. I'm shopping for a Mavic and have enjoyed your other videos however, so I won't let this one set the tone for me about your channel. Best regards.
If your phone has a good camera, I would recommend downloading an app called Hyperlapse. It's a small sized app that acts as a stabilizer, the videos save to your camera roll and you can easily share your videos to instagram or social media from the app
I feel like landing gear always reduces my ability to fly at a distance. The Mavic antennas are in the front legs, so sliding something over top almost positively reduces the signal.
Reminder about all the "can't fly but really want to fly places" like state and federal parks. Next its all parks, then its not over traffic, then, what is eventually left - your back yard? Also, the idea of using the Mavic's gimble for non-flight based recording - good exposure to what that would be like if the need occurred. Lastly, comparing with a GoPro system which is the "other" rave for motion video capture. I may skip the MP Platinum and just wait for the MP2 which is being talked about these days. So, yea, a drone is good to have as a recording tool - however, given the "unknown" and "Known" flight restrictions - you eventually feel like your violating "something" when launching - which removes the "fun" factor - again - forcing one to only consider back yard use of these devices. I wanted to add this webpage www.alec.org/article/2018-legislative-proposals-impacting-drone-operations/ which lists all kinds of regulations that impact drone flying. After looking at it, it basically has reduced my enthusiasm to fly a drone more than 25 feet from myself. This looks like a money maker for local and federal governments by legislating out all practical areas where a drone operator may fly. they should just tell us where we can fly, rather than where we can't fly a drone. I noticed the one regarding flying a drone within 200 feet of an Orca whale. Looks like when my drone does come in, I may just return it without even opening the box. Not worth the headache.
Great question. It does get warm. It was about 30 degrees Celsius this day, and I used it for maybe a total of 15 minutes. It got warm, but not terribly.
Hi. At firs congratulation to you videos. I love it, many practical things and informations for a new dron pilots. Have you use the katana to this time ? After one year want to buy it jet? If you used it 60 mins the overheating dont makes problem? Thx.
I'm visiting the USA early next year ,and will be mainly on a cruise and then staying in a national park with family . You keep emphasising that you can't fly in a national park ,I know I can't fly on a cruise ship ,you can't fly within 30 metres of people .whats the point of bringing my mavic with me .where can I legally fly after I pay my$5.00 American registration. Please advise me ,should I bring my mavic on holidays. Thanks in advance ,ANTON .PS I love your very informative short videos
Thank you Anton! First of all, you do not have to register your Mavic anymore. Secondly, yes you should bring it! You can always launch from outside the National park boundaries and still get some great footage from beyond the boundary lines. I'm assuming you will be traveling outside the National park, so you can always bring your drone with you. As for flying near people, there are many places to fly that don't have people. If you are flying among people that you know, you can always fly above them if you have their permission. The rules are there to prevent people from flying directly over crowds and acting unsafely. However, if you inadvertently fly over a few people at 120 meters, I think you will be ok. I would definitely bring your Mavic. You are going to want to get some aerial footage of our beautiful country!
Alan Coomer I'm going to refer you here: www.phantomhelp.com/Tips/18/best-tabletsphones-for-dji-go. That being said, I think people with Apple products have less lag issues. If I were you, I would go to Ebay and look for a gently used Ipad mini 2 or 3.
Great videos, I got the Katana, put my mavic on wifi, got the pass word off my mavic , turned on the phone wifi and entered the mavic password, but the mavic keeps saying authentation problem. I tried it several times and it still will not connect. Can you please help with this? Thanks, Barry
I always thought aftermarket products - FOR THE MOST PART - suck for DJI quads etc. So thank you for this real-life example of some of the gear. ★**ONE SUGGESTION** (from someone who has been flying DJI products since they began to do business in America thru "DJI America Inc." headed up by former CEO Colin Guinn with whom I became casual friends when meeting at a professional photographers conference,, Of the hundreds or more ppl in attendance not to mention the convention was in The Venician in Vegas, no one recognized him even tho he was the face of DJI America,, *and* was apparently on the TV show Survivor (but I barely watch TV so I knew him only from DJI instructional videos that they don't put out anymore. He did the videos SO well. ★DJI International, Inc. split with Guinn but you can look up all that stuff on ur own bc it's a complex and long story. He's still in the drone business, but now has his own company. He's super tightly wound and high energy, but that's exactly what made us fast friends.y ★★ BUT HERE IS SOMETHING THAT WILL HOPEFULLY HELP MAKE U EVEN HAPPIER... 😁 *********Do you use Premier Pro? Because inside the "Effects" tab go to "Distort" and you'll find something called "warp stabilizer." **www.bing.com/videos/search?q=premiere+pro+anti+shake&docid=607994245760484300&mid=73C3A29C3F2884F264F673C3A29C3F2884F264F6&view=detail&FORM=VIREHT&PC=MSAPP** Back on the early Phantoms when you had to use a GoPro, when they were actually called 'DJI Phantom for GoPro', the image as you can imagine is *incredibly* shaky as if it were in a hurricane especially when you went up into high altitudes - or anywhere - and as the user had to have their own GoPro (another $400+) but luckily I had many GoPro camers, ABD there was no video downlink so u had to sort of know the flight path u took (I used to just hit RTH) and when I'd hear it coming I'd take back control and land it.. But those Phantom for GoPro' quads we're total garbage... Flyaways were a part of Phantom ownership. It would even be sometimes 10 ft off the ground and 30 ft away from me and no matter if it was even just HOVERING or slowly circling the yard, it would ZOOM UP TO A HIGHER ALTITUDE AND ID WSTCH IT GO BYE-BYE. THEY SUCKKKKED. Just imagine what that footage was like with zero video downlink, zero camera control, and the GoPro just screwed into the bottom of the Phantom with zero padding let alone a computerized gimbal keeping it more stable and less shaky and smoother than alot of helicopter footage.... ******and those first gen Phantoms had hardly any tech, only grabbed 3 sattelites, you could only tell battery life, sattelite lock and everything by having to remember the dozen+ flashing light combos (and there was 1 little circular light that flashed red yellow green (same colors as today's models. Battery had to be put into the back of the Phantom by connecting the wires from the battery which stuck out from the battery two wires that stuck out from the Phantom so you had to connect actual wires rather than just plugging the battery in. It's a Long Way DJI has come since the Phantom one for the phantom for GoPro. I flown and owned every single kind except for some of the commercial ones I had one octocopter but I ended up selling it because I didn't use it that much bc it was huge and blah blah blah, but I have a lot of DJI Aerial-imaging drones.I have all the Phantom's a few of them I have a couple of, I have the Inspire 1 the Inspire 1 Pro Inspire 2 he max flight time of a whopping 11 minutes) was a cheap plastic shell with 4 little wires running from the singular (very small) computer motherboard well this Premiere Pro feature is what I used to use all the time when editing the GoPro Phantom footage and it would come out as smooth as butter ... well, almost as smooth as butter depending on just how shaky it was .... Your handheld Katana Tray is so very slightly showing some camera movement so I GUARANTEE this will make your video completely stable-looking as if on a rolling tripod. You can also subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud (I have, ever since they switched from the shrink-wrapped disks of each individual piece of software like Photoshop or illustrator etc. It's only like $60/yr (I think, I just have it on auto-renew).... Anyway, just a tip for ya bud! Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the . . . brief comment. Lol. Yes, I use Warp Stabilizer regularly. Watch my timelapse video from last year. But sometimes that makes things look fake. Truth be told, I don't even use the Katana any more since I got the Osmo Mobile 2.
I like your videos but it felt like you tried to hard to mention Polar Pro at every possible moment. Gave it an advertising feel that I think your better than.
The Game Colonel I agree. I didnt realize it until I was editing. I actually took some out! Lol. Plus, that's why I added the "uncompensated testimonial". I'll do better on the next one.
The Game Colonel I don't see anything wrong with that... What if he has a potential of having polarpro sending him some Goods in the future, a little promoting doesn't hurt anybody, especially on TH-cam!
You go with the products that you would buy as a consumer (as I guess you do) that you think are the best for your needs AND it doesn't hurt you to give them a thumbs up mention when they do what they say on the tin. I don't see any harm in that. I like your "no aires and graces" approach to your videos, don't change.
Great. I haven't even bought the DJI Mavic and there is already upgrades. My Tikka T3x lite will never need an upgrade and I can reach out and touch something at well over 500 yards. Pfft.
Nice that sounds really encouraging then! so any of the early adopters are being penalized for ordering early (when the main reason we ordered early was because from past experience there is always a shortage of stock!. The voucher is only available to select customers who pay an additional £29per year but the reality is the select program is a bit of a scam! from what I here there are people who have ordered their drones under the 'Select customers get priority shipping' but still have yet to get them and others who are not select customers already have theirs, mine did ship pretty quickly (but this shouldn't be something to be proud of Amazon Prime does this everyday!) Basically DJI have very poor customer service and cant admit when they are at fault and adjust accordingly, I mean how many of us has this affected and what are they really losing out on! they can obviously afford to offer the discount and still offer the service so it seems like very poor timing on there part and shows very little flexibility on their part to help a few customers that are already select members to make use of a voucher they have technically paid to get! Maybe we should all return our drones under the 14 day return policy (30 days if select customers) and then re-order after we get the refunds! Or maybe just not re-order for another couple of month to screw with their sales figures! However I suspect that there are not many of us to make much of dent which is why its really off they cant just let us use a voucher (they could just issue all of us who were not aware of the discount on release day with a new voucher to track it if they must! but now all of us I suspect will already be outside of the 48 hrs registration period and therefore are now not able to purchase the service anyway as I am, It seems nuts they would rather turn the sales of the half price service away in return for no sale at all and lets face it only a small percentage of us will ever use it so its money for old rope really and a bit of a con at the full price when you consider the value of the drone and the cost of the insurance when compared to the cost of car insurance and the value of the car you insure! Most of us are not in the habit of crashing our drone anyway (don't think Ive ever crashed or hard landed one of mine anyway) so maybe its not that bigger deal! my point is that DJI themselves should be far more helpful and admit when they screwed up! but like they say a Leopard cant change its spots! (this is no difference to the Mavic Air Camera down function for the programmable buttons many of us have requested this simple feature but DJI just don't listen and all we get is it has been passed on to the engineers (meaning in reality Ive filed this under junk and they can get what they are given all said laughing like doctor evil) We probably shouldn't even bother wasting our breath on this and they will clearly not do anything about it! They cant be bothered to make a comment on this post either!
It does. It was prairie grass. If you live in the South, you may have Bermuda or Kentucky Blue. We have to suffer in the North with what is basically known as "ditch grass". It's almost like straw.
I agree, this gouge is on the trailing edge…no way this damage is from grass. But being that we’re now 3 yrs later & Russ has gained a lifetime of experience and intuitive knowledge in the drone world, I’m sure he’d have a different perspective. …Russ?
The Katana its NOT the Osmo mobile..I have both..The Katana is only good for a last minute shot if needed..plus the setup sucks..Its a drone, not a mobile hand held camera ..Trust me, the Osmo blows it away for hand held.
North Salem Droner I agree 100%, I have the Osmo and Mavic and Osmo Mobile is awesome and has features such as active track and panorama that make it worth the purchase by those two features alone. If you purchase the base then all you have to do is put the Osmo Mobile on the table or counter and select active track and walk away. I used it that way to watch/film my nephews open a Christmas presents and it worked amazingly well.
Sorry man but you can get the same affect without spending the extra cash on that thing. The Mavic is so small it’s a one handed tool you don’t need both hands. And it does take practice to get rid of the walking motion but it works just fine with out the extra cost.

Great video 51 Drones!
Awesome!! I love the mavic!!! My favorite drone!!!
Good job ; thanks !
I always enjoy your videos. Thx
Thanks for an excellent and in depth review that told me everything i needed to know, immediately ordered the Katana after watching this.

First time watching your vid. Great!!
Haha this is funny i haven't come across a katana with wingless drone in it yet ill crack up if i do lol , good review tho

Have you tried a review on a drone parachute??
Great video. Can you advise if we can turn off the lights of the Mavic that is mounted on the Katana?
Jeffrey Chia No you can't. You can disable it for when a photo is taken, but that is all.
Jeffrey Chia and Thank you!
I order grimbel last night by smooth Q for $99 :) can't wait to play around with it. Every single video on my TH-cam channel i recorded with phones and right now I'm using Note 8

Cool vid mate! 🤘😁
Hi. Nice video thanks! Which drone do you think is louder when flying - the Mavic or Spark?
Engleburt I haven't unboxed my Spark yet, so I'm not sure! I would assume the Mavic.
I got some landing gear with shock absorbers for 8 buck and you can watch them take the load when it lands
That sounds cool!
Do the legs effect flight and flight time with increased drag through the air??????
dhudson369 No, not at all.
I wish there was more like for this video.
What a salesman !!
Could this fit a Mavic air 2 ?
very nice info....maybe i buy one...talking about cinematic....why using 24 fps ? ( or here in Europe 25 ) when using the Katana...in faster movements you get unsharper video...i use the highest on 1080P 50 fps.. NO cinematic blurry video for me.. :)
I use 30 fps. Works for me. Personal choice I guess. Thanks for watching!
Does it fly the same with the landing gear on? Thanks for sharing!
Sawlon Yes. No change at all.
Thank you!
I got a landing gear in the bundle I purchased from Koozam, seller on Amazon, they snap into a slot in the rear bottom that doesnt scratch the finish and looks better. Front extensions are basically the same.
Great video, you have to teach yourself not to bounce when you walk... Great review on the Katana, Gimbal Lock and Landing gear.I was going to buy the landing gear, but I wanted to see a review.. thanks !
Hey I was wondering if the katana mavic tray fits the new mavic 2?
No, the M2P is bigger.
Where the best settings for using my mavick in the katana? Going to try it at a basketball game tonight for the 1st time
Cool! I would definitely shoot in 1080, 60fps for that kind of action - then you could slow it down in post for some cool shots. SEEN ALOT OF LANDING GEAR WHAT YA GOT LOOKS RALLY GOOD

can u fold them with the landing gears on?????
Have you tried using the Mavic similar to say...a dash cam in a car? Does the image stabilization seem to work well enough to deal with the vibration of a larger vehicle?
It does not, but if you place it in the Katana Mavic Tray, I believe that it would. Gives me a great idea to put into a video!
Dude I took your word after watching this video, and I purchased the gimbal lock and the Katana. The gimbal lock gave me sticker shock because it ws about 3 times whaat I had guestimated on price. Love the video were did you get the suitcase for your Mavic pro
Thanks! It's from MC-Cases. It's still an awesome case. I use it every day! Here is a link: amzn.to/2MvTTkb
Thank you, I’m going to get a magic pro in a couple of weeks
Seems like advertisement for polar pro
Did they pay you?! Cause it sure feels like it

Wouldn’t you make a video about some stuff if someone paid you?
Gotta love "Cinematic Footage!" :)
Is there going to be no problem there is mavic pro when pressing the ON button in mavic pro when it is mounted on Katana tray ??? Thaks...
No problem at all! It works great.
51 Drones thanks

51 Drones Good to know, thank you! I would much rather use my samsung because of the screen size and resolution!
Looks very interesting but I bought the Osmo and so far can’t figure out how to balance it lol. I just gave up. Need to have another go at it lol
Great video!
Segway minipro is the best way to do cinematic footage. I have hybrid on road/off road tires easy to drive easier than walking even
I like the glass table. Where did you get it ?
Patrick Samuel Hardware store called Menards. It's only in the Midwest I believe.
Dude! you got airplanes flying over your house....as a drone fan.... how does that work? or random plane?
Compensated, free gear, affiliate links... It's all the same difference in which the person speaking about them will benefit. Regardless, decent information which honestly felt like an infomercial. Appreciate that, as well as your honesty.
katana & goggles haha with guide might be fun
Tripod mode should improve things from what I heard. Mine is coming Friday :-)
Nice Nice 👍
If your phone has a good camera, I would recommend downloading an app called Hyperlapse. It's a small sized app that acts as a stabilizer, the videos save to your camera roll and you can easily share your videos to instagram or social media from the app
Nice. Thank you!
This men is good
I feel like landing gear always reduces my ability to fly at a distance. The Mavic antennas are in the front legs, so sliding something over top almost positively reduces the signal.
If 3 year future self could talk to 3 year old self. Lmao!
4:23, how does grass crack the back of your propeller?..
Duc696 Monster Don't ask me. It was more like a weed than grass.
Is it just a North Dakota regulation that you can't fly in a state park? Ornis that nationally?
Cool stuff...
hi
Can the drone have overheating problems if it is used like this ?
Great question. It does get warm. It was about 30 degrees Celsius this day, and I used it for maybe a total of 15 minutes. It got warm, but not terribly.
Hi. At firs congratulation to you videos. I love it, many practical things and informations for a new dron pilots. Have you use the katana to this time ? After one year want to buy it jet? If you used it 60 mins the overheating dont makes problem? Thx.
Thanks
Must of got paid good for this one!
Review That Not a dime.
Go Pack Go WiFi baby!!!!
Any ideas on a tablet to replace my phone on the mavic
Alan Coomer Are you an Apple fan or Android?
dont mind either but dont want to spent too much
I dont mind just need a clear and low cost one as it will be only used for the drone cheers
Alan Coomer I'm going to refer you here: www.phantomhelp.com/Tips/18/best-tabletsphones-for-dji-go.
That being said, I think people with Apple products have less lag issues. If I were you, I would go to Ebay and look for a gently used Ipad mini 2 or 3.
cheers
I can't find the gimbal cover anywhere?

Nice bro..

"Airplane... can't fly!" lol
Great videos, I got the Katana, put my mavic on wifi, got the pass word off my mavic , turned on the phone wifi and entered the mavic password, but the mavic keeps saying authentation problem. I tried it several times and it still will not connect. Can you please help with this? Thanks, Barry
What is the exact alert that you get? What does it say in detail?
My phone and wifi says it is having a "problem authenticating" thanks for your quick response, Barry.
He's super tightly wound and high energy, but that's exactly what made us fast friends.y
★★ BUT HERE IS SOMETHING THAT WILL HOPEFULLY HELP MAKE U EVEN HAPPIER...
Just me, or does it look like you're trying to shake the gimbal off your Mavic? and after featuring a gimbal lock why not use it?
Pls send link to your flight case
Right here: amzn.to/2LgjmRR. I still use it today, and it's as good as the day I bought it!
Thanks man
CheeseHead?....in Wisconsin? Me too. What part of the state, I'm in Fox River Valley area
No, I live in North Dakota. My neighbor is a big Packer fan.
Go Pro or Yi 4k+ hand held gimbal would be better than using the mavic.
51 Drones No worries. I cant wait to get mine when I return home in a few weeks. Take care!
The Game Colonel a
Wait....grass cracked your blade? what kind of grass do you fly from? lol
It was! It was quack grass - stiffer and thicker.
Be nice to us Cheeseheads 😄 Go Pack!
Great. I haven't even bought the DJI Mavic and there is already upgrades. My Tikka T3x lite will never need an upgrade and I can reach out and touch something at well over 500 yards. Pfft.
Me:love the accessories wallet:hate the accessories
Marcus Bushay Lol.
At 4:09 the Mavic Pro look like a frog
Nice that sounds really encouraging then! so any of the early adopters are being penalized for ordering early (when the main reason we ordered early was because from past experience there is always a shortage of stock!. The voucher is only available to select customers who pay an additional £29per year but the reality is the select program is a bit of a scam! from what I here there are people who have ordered their drones under the 'Select customers get priority shipping' but still have yet to get them and others who are not select customers already have theirs, mine did ship pretty quickly (but this shouldn't be something to be proud of Amazon Prime does this everyday!)
Basically DJI have very poor customer service and cant admit when they are at fault and adjust accordingly, I mean how many of us has this affected and what are they really losing out on! they can obviously afford to offer the discount and still offer the service so it seems like very poor timing on there part and shows very little flexibility on their part to help a few customers that are already select members to make use of a voucher they have technically paid to get!
(this is no difference to the Mavic Air Camera down function for the programmable buttons many of us have requested this simple feature but DJI just don't listen and all we get is it has been passed on to the engineers (meaning in reality Ive filed this under junk and they can get what they are given all said laughing like doctor evil)
We probably shouldn't even bother wasting our breath on this and they will clearly not do anything about it! They cant be bothered to make a comment on this post either!
you need a DJI Osmo Action
Got one. It broke. Looking at the Hero 8.
4:22 that doesn't make any sense.
How can grass or branches damage the trailing edge of a propeller, leaving the leading edge immaculate?
I have the Mavic Pro but also a Go ProHero , I think it's better to use my GoPro for this kind of footage :-)
It seems bulky, and difficult to make the Katana work. I'd prefer to buy the simpler stabilizer.
that looks like you live in West Chicago.
Cary Budach Lol. Pretty close. North Dakota. 😂
What plane was that (only kidding)
Go Green Bay
Hi
With that effort while u are walking I find there is no need for Katana.
I think it's great for a when you are on a moving vehicle, like auto, bike, skateboard, etc.
Was this sponsored?
Nice video but the katana its not worth it get a Osmo or karma grip even if is a lil bit expensive worth every penny for cinematic footage... Cher’s
Muchos respect to the Rapala cap dude
