If you find Camera control is not sensitive enough to your touch (or too sensitive) you can adjust that sensitivity in the Settings app. Many people don't know this. You can really dial it in how you like it.
ditched my iphone 14 pro to 16 plus bec I want to lower down my monthly plan with my carrier + I want a bigger screen and I'm pretty much satisfied and happy with my decision! I thought the 60hz will be a deal breaker but tbh it isn't, I mean I'm already used to it. my 16 plus is still fast. i was nitpicky at first bec I always did a side by side comparison of my 14 pro and 16 plus screens but day-to-day usage proved that I don't need the pro motion. IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO NEEDS VS WANTS and WHAT KIND OF A SMARTPHONE USER ARE YOU. The pro motion screen, telephoto lens, faster USB c speed are something that I don't often use so why spend more money on those right? I had the 12 pro and 14 pro and I didn't maximise their pro capabilities at all. I thought I was a pro user but after 4 years, guess I'm not. so there, just my two cents - from an actual iPhone user who's not in the creative space but a total social media junkie and an average smartphone user.
I feel this. I have a 14 Plus I just bought a few months ago. It’s been absolutely great. I make videos with it for my YT channel. It’s been pro enough for me. Tip…the new 18.1.1 update fixed a lot of the perceived stutter that I thought was the 60hz refresh rate. It still has some but it’s very smooth.
the positives of the regular models are the beautiful colors and light weight and are a bit slimmer too. The 16 Plus weighs 199g while the Pro Max weighs 227g and when you have a large mobile then light weight is very important. the engative is that the regular models has thicker bezels, 60hz screen instead of at least 90hz refresh rate.
@@zurko2000 it’s a base iPhone. If you don’t like it buy the pro, let everyone else who couldn’t care less about 60Hz enjoy their iPhones. The fact that you get so upset but the people who actually own the phone don’t, suggests that maybe you should put down your phone for a bit.
@@Das_Germaican Dude, they don't provide 120 hz on the base model. That's the only reason why I'm not switching to iPhone & I'm sure there are many others like me who want to have an iPhone base model but just can't because believe me refresh rate is a big deal breaker & so there are reasons to be pissed off.
60Hz doesn't bother me and this is coming from someone who is coming from a Samsung Galaxy flagship over the last 6 years. Will not be going back to Android
For me they could have added 90Hz at least, I need a larger display though so I don’t squint. I just ordered a 16+, still buying it still going to love it. I just wish they could have added 120Hz.
This was an interesting take on the 18th generation of iPhones. Thank you for that. with the topics covered by you, i however heard some opinions, that can be tackled with opinions of my own. So here we go: While I agree, that 128GB are not enough for any smartphone in 2024 and would call out Apple for their greed on that one just the same, as the 120Hz display, which Samsung, Google and other Companies offer on a similar or even lower price tag (no matter my opinion on that), I'd still like to answer your question ( 2:07 ) with a question of my own. What kind of a professional runs Tripple A games on their working tools? Ok ok, quite a few. But still, your argument of not having any Space for videos left, doesn't hold up, as the Apple ProRes format for one doesn't work on Apples own Apps and considering the file sizes of Apple ProRes, using third party Apps doesn't make it any better either. 4K 60 fps in ProRes eats up 220MB/s which sums up to 13.2GB for a single minute. 4K 120 fps at 440MB/s sums up to 26.4GB per minute. So what do you get from 128GB extra? 9 Minutes or 4 1/2 Minutes of recording time. If you don't use that or ProRAW, you miss one of the biggest PRO-Features. As for the colors ( 2:31 ): Yep, that might be a reason to go for Non-Pro iPhones this year. However, it wouldn't be a good one, at least if you go for a case, unless you go for a clear one and lets face it, even with a clear case, the hype about the build quality goes down the drain, because you end up with the build quality of the case, not the iPhone. A better argument would be, that a titanium frame doesn't give you anything, you get to ever see, unless you decide to not use a case.
Went from 14 pro max to 16 plus to 16 pro max. If your coming from a pro max , get the 16 pro max If your coming from a non pro max and also are use to 60hz, then the 16plus will b fine for you
Yeah if im spending even $500+ for a phone it better have 3-4 cameras, 120hz Screen, 256gb, Fast cpu, large OLED screen, and USB 3 at minimum. The fact that you can get a $150 phone that has 120hz and Dual Cameras (Redmi 14C) makes paying almost $1000 and getting 60hz is such a slap in the face! 😅
Watching a plus video on my mini 😅
on my iphone SE 3 over here!
Mini 😂
How's the battery?
I’m watching it on my iPhone 15
I have the iPhone 16 plus in black with 256gb I’m really loving it and it’s just pro enough for me and for many others.
Same here 😊

I related to this comment so much… I think I may get out of the pro line because why am I paying for it and I’m not really using it?!
Thanks
I've had 14 pro max & 15 pro max and can't see what all the fuss is about. Not upgrading but think my next phone will be the base model or a plus.

Apple could just have look at Canon's, discontinuing the fidly swipe bar design to control camera settings with their first EOS R series.
This is the absolute most comfortable phone to hold.
Hello, could you please tell me what game controllers you had attached to your iphone, and are they good, thank you :) !
Good video. However that advertisement wireless powerbank's magnet looks weak. So people, please take caution while buying.
60Hz is an ABSOLUTE nogo and shows Apple is fooling their customers AF
Yep, no doubt about that.
The weird thing is so many "Techtubers" giving them a pass

How's battery life holding up?
Cool wallpaper where did you get it?
Cheers with Loop coffee 👍🏼
It’s unfortunate that iPhones, despite their top tier processors and excellent cameras have been reduced to whether or not they’re 60Hz.

The Pro's don't even surpass 80hz. Apple throttles them.

i simply didnt buy 16 because of that stupid camera button.
Everything about the 16 is good except for that 60Hz screen…. Which make the whole phone trash.
More people care about having more battery life and next is more people like to having more storage and more people into having better camera
Your wallpaper link ??
The 60HZ screen refresh rate is the biggest 👎 of the non-pro iPhone 16 models. Definitely a deal breaker for me
nice!
if android can make their small base models with 4,000+ mAh iPhone can do the same
Iphone 16 ploh?

I'm thinking of getting the 16 Pro Max to replace my 14 Pro Max (which I'll trade in with Apple to cover the cost), because it has a bigger screen.
You can get use too 60hz but some can't and the base models this year is good because there not that different to the pro models.
Whats the point in buying +800$ phones that don't have any pro features?
Did you watch the video?
You think 120Hz is worth the extra $100.00 to go Pro? I'd rather the $100.00 go towards storage for 256gb.
