IKR. They could have at least given it a colorway like the Rotom Phone from Sword and Shield & Scarlet and Violet. Maybe a custom Pokedex app like the in-game one. All the branding is already there, even custom cases, home backgrounds and camera effects. Heck, in gameWhat a missed opportunity. In the Teal Mask expansion the case even changes the background patterns in the phone menus- great idea for a ZFlip FlipCase case like was used on one of the earlier phones in the vid.
The Samsung E700 brings back memories. I worked in a phone shop and I got one as soon as it launched as it looked so sleek, loved the fact you could use the outside screen as a viewfinder for selfies. I remember the bowling game on it as well. Needless to say it was very popular and an easy sell as soon as I whipped it out, customers would buy it in seconds!

Bro the teardown of phone protection plastic is savage considering the phones are limited edition and some are rare. It was savage the way you tore the plastic.
The HTC one M8 & M7 prior to it will forever be 2 of my favourite smartphones.. I was HTC from the Hero right through to the M8 (also had the U12 after it but didn't rate it the same). Wildfire, Desire S, One S and One X and even the U12 all featuring. HTC truly changed the market, unibody phones, dual front facing speakers, dual camera, true IP ratings etc. It's still a hard pill to swallow how far HTC have fallen in the smartphone market. I wish they'd make a true flagship again. If you ever decide to sell the M8 I'd be extremely interested. No, it’s a 40 dollar record player with a 2 dollar ‘record playing unit’ which has a needle made out of ruby playing the record with so much weight that it destroys the record whilst skipping grooves because it doesn’t have anti-skating with a cool livery, which isn’t unusual for this Chinese record player, as it is being sold to different companies who want their logo to be printed in it: honestly, it’s a disgrace

But if you want to collect records and listen to them regularly, this record player shouldn’t be bought, if you already have a pair of active speakers or a speaker-amplifier combination, there are way better options out there, which should have been chosen to be used for this rather cool piece of merchandise

I think both of the Genshin phones you’ve unboxed are based on an exact character. The OnePlus 9RT you unboxed in the Electro Phone video was themed for Sucrose (whose element is Anemo, or the wind), and the Ace 2 in this video is themed for Xiangling.
Most of them were kept on a type of shelf being charged 24/7 since he's been collecting them and some other phones are just kept in storage since the "phone wall" was basically full, until most of the Samsung's combusted(like the infamous Galaxy Note 7 incident)
The Pokémon one was such a missed opportunity on Samsungs end😅 I agree in that they should’ve done more with the phone, the packaging had me anticipating what the phone might look like only for it to be as plain as ever lol

17:00 Holy smokes, the BMW phone seems amazing value for the price. I don't know which phone it actually is, but based off the price, I don't think it's a flagship, so all that is probably wasted. I always think you should do collector's/limited editions only for flagships because only then can fans truly appreciate the phone and use it daily rather than just buying it for the packaging. The phone is the Infinix Note 30 VIP, which has a Dimensity 8050 SoC, which is pretty bad. For an easy comparison, it is about equivalent to a Snapdragon 865.
Arun's videos nowadays are always straight to the point and fast paced, watching his channel grow over the past 3 years has been awesome watching the basic idea stay the same but his quality improving with every video released! Hoping he can have a good 2024! ❤🎉

The Samsung E700 was my very first phone, and solidified me as a lifetime Samsung customer. I still have it, and I love to pull it out sometimes just to remind my nieces and nephews that my phone is older than them lol.
I don’t know if anybody else has pointed it out, but that Pokemon phone was supposed to have a yellow backing with Pikachu on both sections. They took you on that one.
The Caviar Megaladon phone was a bit of a scam, as megaladon tooth fragments can be bought fairly cheap, it's the whole intact teeth that cost the big bucks. If they included an actual megaladon tooth I would have been impressed. Just for reference I preordered a signed copy of one of Steve Altens's Meg books which came with fragments of fossilised megaladon tooth for about £30.
The HTC M8 to me was peak smartphone design. Nothing before it was even close to it. And to me, no smartphone has a design like it since. I still own my black and gold one from Sprint in the US that had Beats Audio built in. I use it as a mp3 player in my car now. The speakers were CRAZY on that phone too.
That HTC phone sure brings back memories. It was, or rather its ancestor was, my first true smartphone. I almost didn't get it, as another phone with all the tools I needed was $100.00 less, but I got it and loved it a LOT. I still have it, but sadly it's just hanging out in my dead phone box. Yes, the box is for dead phones, but the box is dead also.

I think both of the Genshin phones you’ve unboxed are based on an exact character. The OnePlus 9RT you unboxed in the Electro Phone video was themed for Sucrose (whose element is Anemo, or the wind), and the Ace 2 in this video is themed for Xiangling.

Most of them were kept on a type of shelf being charged 24/7 since he's been collecting them and some other phones are just kept in storage since the "phone wall" was basically full, until most of the Samsung's combusted(like the infamous Galaxy Note 7 incident)

I don't know which phone it actually is, but based off the price, I don't think it's a flagship, so all that is probably wasted.
I always think you should do collector's/limited editions only for flagships because only then can fans truly appreciate the phone and use it daily rather than just buying it for the packaging.
The phone is the Infinix Note 30 VIP, which has a Dimensity 8050 SoC, which is pretty bad. For an easy comparison, it is about equivalent to a Snapdragon 865.
Arun's videos nowadays are always straight to the point and fast paced, watching his channel grow over the past 3 years has been awesome watching the basic idea stay the same but his quality improving with every video released! Hoping he can have a good 2024! ❤🎉

The Samsung E700 was my very first phone, and solidified me as a lifetime Samsung customer. I still have it, and I love to pull it out sometimes just to remind my nieces and nephews that my phone is older than them lol.

I don’t know if anybody else has pointed it out, but that Pokemon phone was supposed to have a yellow backing with Pikachu on both sections. They took you on that one.
The Caviar Megaladon phone was a bit of a scam, as megaladon tooth fragments can be bought fairly cheap, it's the whole intact teeth that cost the big bucks. If they included an actual megaladon tooth I would have been impressed. Just for reference I preordered a signed copy of one of Steve Altens's Meg books which came with fragments of fossilised megaladon tooth for about £30.

The HTC M8 to me was peak smartphone design. Nothing before it was even close to it. And to me, no smartphone has a design like it since. I still own my black and gold one from Sprint in the US that had Beats Audio built in. I use it as a mp3 player in my car now. The speakers were CRAZY on that phone too.

That HTC phone sure brings back memories. It was, or rather its ancestor was, my first true smartphone. I almost didn't get it, as another phone with all the tools I needed was $100.00 less, but I got it and loved it a LOT. I still have it, but sadly it's just hanging out in my dead phone box. Yes, the box is for dead phones, but the box is dead also.
