Oh my gosh yessssss, this is such a problem. I'm sorry, but there are some songs you just DON'T SING. Defying Gravity, Let it Go, (anything done by Idina Menzel basically), Circle of Life etc. Seriously, people don't understand this concept it's so frustrating! Anyway, sorry, little rant there.

Great advise, I used purpose from Avenue Q for my 25th annual Putnam spelling bee audition. It was a college production, and while Avenue Q is a more edgy show that song is very PG-13, and fit with the context level of the show i was auditioning for. I even ended up being cast as William Barfee.
