I then got the lifedrain scythe and bled everything in the game with the blood resistance shield and ring (lifedrain builds up your own blood loss). Gwyndolin took me 5+, O and S took me 2 lol. The hardest boss after were the four kings (bleed resist) and Artorias (too nimble to build up bleed).
@@Azaezlle ds3 blocking is not nearly as worth it as ds1 blocking. Generally in ds3 it's better to dodge as you have omni-directional dodging compared to ds1, which makes it far more viable and reliable. On top of that not all boss attacks can be blocked, but all attacks can be dodged. Also you will still take small amounts of damage while blocking and/or will get knocked back unless you use a greatshield, which usually is too heavy for any real benefits. If Asmon wasn't going over 70% weight limit he'd actually have decent and reliable dodges with s instead of fatrolling through the whole game while mashing R1 with a heavy twohanded weapon and getting frustrated over dying over and over.
if the game is really as hard as most casuals claim it is, this guy shouldn't be even able to reach this point. replace iudex gundyr with champion. that should filter out most of the scrubs from the get go. either git gud or get out.

I havent played dark souls lll yet, but played bloodborne and I see that he is using an insanely slow weapon to do damage idk about you but really slow weapons arw shit when it comes to games like these becuase you never land a damn hit and they kill you after like the first 2 enemys you encounter on a map.

JASON Tsai you get a debuff while naked. Theres an inherent damage reduction bonus you get for wearing anything in your armor slot even the masters attire. So no you dont want to play naked.

Pontiff is weak against a good shield btw. It was my first DS and I was fat rolling till nameless. I was getting bored from dying so I changed the armor set and boom it hit me. I was soooo much faster. Like a revelation.
to be fair, for that one attack on his Dragon where his spear gets all lightning'ed up, and he slams it down, I haven't been able to dodge it once, and I'm fast rolling. maybe it's a directional thing, but the game shouldn't put unavoidable damage for certain playstyles either way.

If you try to use just I-frames, the lingering Lightning will still hit you. I've beaten every boss on NG3 at this point. I know how to roll.

He managed to find a masive Strike damage strength weapon early in the game and swung the hammer until most things died. It actually works. At least until Lothric Castle where it stopped working. Strike damage really destoys a lot of pve in all 3 DS games.
Watching him just play through the game so stubbornly and being unable/unwilling to learn, I hate him. Hearing his friend and chat berate him the whole way through and give equally bad advice, I have a lot of respect for him. The patience/stubbornness is unparalleled, both for better and worse

He won't beat Nameless with this setup. He needs to be midrolling, needs to learn to be patient, needs to learn his entire moveset and all this takes at least 20 tries just from the point when he realises what he needs to do but he is not even close to that.

People say it's lazy and too passive, but it takes some good management of your stamina and controlling the camera to always face your target. Sure, it's easier than using a giant two-hander or dual wield with dodging, but you could go full caster and 2 shot bosses for even easier. Dark Souls possesses enough cheese that I feel no guilt at throwing cheese back of my own.
Someone did it at lvl 1 without ever rolling and taking damage, so yeah it's doable ... But unrealisticly hard. And asmon is far from close to the mastery of the dude who managed to do this challenge.
He should've check on fextra or other guide to realized his mistake. However if he does that, No one will watch his videos again. I meant his shitty playthrough is the main attraction. You throw that, he loses lots viewers

Dark Souls basis : Dont play average stats, play super heavy or super light. Don't forget to put a lot of xp points on stamina, this is crucial. Don't let your stamina bar go down to zero, i mean NEVER do it AKA don't get greedy. Don't watch your character, always Watch what the ennemies are doing, play accordingly.
Fighting nameless King is a well synched dance . You must time your dodges well at phase 2 or he Will get you for messing up the ritm. But most important he cant beat this boss at his skill level with fatrolling.
I'm a ds3 virgin, and managed to kill nameless king fat rolling on my first playthrough. He took me about 40 to 50 attempts. I just fed up and tried something different out. I put on heavy armor and used Vordt's mace...and ended up killing him. Defeating nameless while fat rolling is possible, but if the boss gets super aggressive in phase 2, it is going to be hell.

I remember my friend got dark souls and when he reached Orenstein and Omough he used havel’s armour and fat rolled. He spent hours on that boss and didn’t win. I told him to use lighter armour and after 4 more tries he beat it. Dark souls is about adapting and changing your strategy so you can overcome seemingly impossible challenges. However Asmond sticks to his awful strategies and continues to fail.

He managed to find a masive Strike damage strength weapon early in the game and swung the hammer until most things died. It actually works. At least until Lothric Castle where it stopped working. Strike damage really destoys a lot of pve in all 3 DS games.

He won't beat Nameless with this setup. He needs to be midrolling, needs to learn to be patient, needs to learn his entire moveset and all this takes at least 20 tries just from the point when he realises what he needs to do but he is not even close to that.
If he understands that he needs to hit midir's face, imo he'll have a easier time dealing with midir than gael, especially while fat rolling ^^

People say it's lazy and too passive, but it takes some good management of your stamina and controlling the camera to always face your target. Sure, it's easier than using a giant two-hander or dual wield with dodging, but you could go full caster and 2 shot bosses for even easier.

Fighting nameless King is a well synched dance . You must time your dodges well at phase 2 or he Will get you for messing up the ritm. But most important he cant beat this boss at his skill level with fatrolling.

I'm a ds3 virgin, and managed to kill nameless king fat rolling on my first playthrough. He took me about 40 to 50 attempts. I just fed up and tried something different out. I put on heavy armor and used Vordt's mace...and ended up killing him. Defeating nameless while fat rolling is possible, but if the boss gets super aggressive in phase 2, it is going to be hell.

I remember my friend got dark souls and when he reached Orenstein and Omough he used havel’s armour and fat rolled. He spent hours on that boss and didn’t win. I told him to use lighter armour and after 4 more tries he beat it. Dark souls is about adapting and changing your strategy so you can overcome seemingly impossible challenges. However Asmond sticks to his awful strategies and continues to fail.
