Amsoil specifically formulated and introduced this product line for the current car market and economy where people are forced to keep & run their cars longer. It has the increased detergents to clean up deposits especially for GDI turbo/superhot cars and swell seals to extend life & reliability.
If your engine has been running Signature Series for the first 75,000 miles you can stay with Signature Series and have no concerns. The High Mileage oil has a robust additive package with additional detergents to improve cleaning in high mileage engines, and has some special additives to address the seals to keep them pliable and in good operation. I have personally seen a reduction in oil consumption with the high mileage oil in a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L that we purchased used and it was not well cared for prior to our purchase. We have had several customers report back they had reduced oil consumption in their vehicles. One customer reported minimal or no change in oil consumption. His consumption could be a mechanical issue. Bottom line is both AMSOIL products are top quality products that offer their own unique advantages. Thank you for the question.

Thanks for the comment Matt!!
Will you prefer this over the Signature Series for engines with 75,000 miles and above?

Thanks Bruce for subscribing. Maybe we will run into you up there next year.
You don’t have to have 75,000 miles or more to use this.
That is correct, you could use it prior to 75,000 miles.
