Cliff…what keeps me coming back to your channel - other than the fact that I’m a loyal subscriber 😅and you put out INCREDIBLE content and share your knowledge with us…it’s your humility brother, truly. Love how you put someone else in your channel on your video while out in the field and say things like “it’s not a competition, we’re just trying to feed our families”. Love that! Brother - may the Lord bless you and continue to grant you favor in this industry and may 2023 be a fruitful and extremely profitable year for you! Appreciate you big time.
Thank you for the loyal support ,kind words and well wishes. I wish you all the same
Beautiful job and dudeee you're so wholesome, shouting out Scotties work and company. Such a humble guy
Thank you for the compliment.
Greatly appreciate your content. I actually did my first roof pressure clean. 2700 sq ft. I got a lot of knowledge watching you. Thank a million.
Congrats 👏 👏 thank you
Then you haven't paid any attention to his videos....Cliff never "pressure clean" roofs, he uses a soft wash😐
That man scottie got his moment of fame lol nice work 👏
Lmao hahagahah
That’s what I’m talking about. There is plenty of work out here for everyone. The only competition is between you and yourself. Roof is looking crisp.
Facts brother. Gotten horse blinders on. I'm focused on mine and mine only. 💯
Well, with an extended 20-foot poll and a GoPro Bluetooth to your phone, you could see from the ground what you're spraying on the roof. I just came up with this idea while watching your video.
Way too much work for me lol but I'd like to see it done.
Great job,Sir. Thanks for showing the camaraderie with Scotty’s.
Any time!
Was just thinking it's been a little while since we saw a video on cleaning a roof.
Looks like more customers will be contacting you from the area with those HOA letters.
Fingers crossed!
Love the content as always, nice to see ya with the respirator on, keep those lungs safe!
Thank you very much 😊
Another excellent video Cliff! This kind of design on the roof can really mess with you haha, like I have to walk around a few times just to make sure it's squeaky clean!
You and me both! Even the customer asked what are those stains lol.
Earliest I have ever been. All excellent videos thanks for all your helpful info and great videos
Glad you like them!
As always great content. I’m learning so much from you. Greatly appreciate you. Would love to drive over to you and shadow for a day. From Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.
I appreciate that! Glad I could help a little. Oh wow Ill be down there for my football game next week in pompano beach.
Verry classy of you to share another companies phone number on your channel. You're a good dude!
Thanks. I have no worries , there Is plenty of work to go around for all involved.
Transcendent results! A good ticket; until gators learn to climb ladders!😅 Keep on keepin' on!💪🏻💯🙏🏻💖
You got that right!
Tile roofs are the best instant results my favorite
I love them. No need to wait for rain
Hey Cliff, how are you doing bro?? Quick question did you get to do any more title roofs in that neighborhood after doing that 1??
Nah I didn't. Apparently there's a company going around doing them for $500 bucks a pop
Hey Clif. Love your videos. Learned so much from your channel. Which pressure washing house would you recommend?
Thank you very much. I'd recommend a good 2 wire hose, there's a link in the description of the video for one.
Love it brother ❤
Thanks ✌️
Great job Cliff. What would be a good price to charge for driveways if I price them by square foot? Thanks!
That's gonna depend on your market, overhead, equipment and experience. I don't use sq ft pricing for basic driveways. I keep it simple pretty much. I price them by packages. Unless it's an abnormal size driveway, them I'd adjust my pricing.
Could you do a Video of your soft wash set up? Size and all. Tip sizes and how it’s wired. All that good stuff.
Yes I got one dropping soon. I recorded it but didn't edit it yet
Cliff... as always thank you so much for your content. I just put a bid on my first roof. It's tile also. Do you think an x-jet with a 5 gallon pump will shoot it hot enough? I know that it isn't ideal, but it's what I currently have.
You can make due with it for that job then upgrade. Keep in mind you will have a lot of runoff with an Xjet. But nonetheless you can get up to a 5-6% with an Xjet so thats right in the sweet spot for a roof wash mix.
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash oh, I didn't realize there would be a difference in runoff. Thank you for the response. Definitely want to upgrade asap!! Every job I have gotten, I have been re-investing. Just curious, how many gpm is your 12v?
@jhops2552 i use a 7gpm pump but a 5.5gpm pump works great too
Just curious Cliff them tiles don't get slick with the SH on it like a metal roof does? Awesome of you giving the shout out to another PW company.
concrete tile are easy to walk just step on the overlap super grippy with the right boots
Be very careful. Good boots help and yes walk on the overlap sections. I try to not walk on the sections I freshly sprayed. It's best to work in sections to avoid that. And never walk backwards.
I won't walk on metal roofs at all lol
Hi Sir, is it slippery when the roof is covered by SH?
I can be. Most definitely, if its full of algae. Thats what makes it slippery.
I have a stucco house with mold all over . It has a terracotta roof .. do you think the bleach will affect the roof from over spray ? Thanks
No it will be fine. This is what we all use in this industry
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Ty so much for responding so quickly ! I like watching your videos. Great job 👍and i will continue to support
Hi .. I like your videos. Been watching them . I have a question . Can you soft wash a roof when the house has been painted days ago???. Is it safe to wash it? I appreciate u sharing ur knowledge and experience
Hey thanks. Sure you can, you're not spraying the house, you're spraying the roof. Just have your ground guy on property protection wetting the walls for any overspray
Nice
Thanks
Nice Job I Also Use The 12 Volt System Have You Ever Considered Getting The Gas Roof Pump Set Up?
You know what? Ive actually thought about moving up to one of those for my new rig but man I hear the diaphragm on those are super notorious to failing. I like the 12v because of the simplicity and If need me I can swap it in no time. But im not ruling out a gas roof pump in the future. Maybe next season.
When do I soft wash and when do I downstream. Is it certain surfaces wood/paint/siding/ fences etc?
first things first downstream is a form of softwashing. The main thing you should be asking is when should you use a dedicated soft wash system (ie. when you need a hot mix like 3-4-5-6 %) vs downstreaming (ie. when you need a basic cleaning mix of a 1-2-2.5 %). Only thing that needs pressure washing are hard surfaces like concrete, pavers, wood fences. Everything else needs a form of soft wash whether its downstreaming or a dedicated softwash system like a 12v, gas, air, or diaphragm pump.
Is it ok to walk on the tiles without cracking them?
There's a correct way to walk on them just like when the roofers install them.
Hey so.. couple questions. First it seems like even though its a lot cleaner, there are still lots of black marks on the various tiles. Is that part of the tile, or would that be removable with some additional work like a brush to scrub it (gently) with SH on it? Second, given that I am about 300lbs in weight.. what's the likelihood of stepping on tiles and some breaking? Does that happen and if so, how do you resolve that? I am assuming most owners dont go up on the roof to inspect after a cleaning.. but I wouldn't ever want to be some shady crap like break one and not say anything. Do you invoke your insurance in those cases to cover damages? Also.. do you use special shoes to avoid slipping.. for sure some roofs are much steeper.. and also with 2 story homes, I personally dont want to be up on roofs. Curious if you can use a 25foot ladder and spray from the ladder to avoid the roofs?
The black marks you see are the design in the tiles, tiles can break from stepping on them the wrong way no matter your weight. There's tile fixing glue that you can purchase to fix one if you break it. Walking on roofs can be dangerous there are a variety of shoes you can search online that has good grip. I live in Florida with tons of pool cages so lot of roofs can't be cleaned without getting on it. U can shoot from a ladder on homes without crazy angles and pool cages
the GOAT
Lol thanks
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash on that TH-cam shorts grind now lmao
Hey money, you should tell us how much bleach you use.
I answered that. Check out the comments my brother.
What’s the average price per square foot, to soft wash a tile roof in South Florida?
I dont know. Thats like 4hours from me. Totally different market.
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Thank you for your response. It’s approximately 2,800 sq ft. Just wanted to have an idea, on what to expect. More or less.
Did you rinse it off after? Or no need?
No rinse. There's no need to. Only if it was metal then I'd rinse it.
Cliff, do you do 1-1 calls for guidance and training?
Yes I actually do. Email me at Info@pinkflamingopowerwash.com
Yes I do
What percentage of SH was on this application? 6?
Yes! Go to mix for roofs. Works well
Just curious how much are you paying per gallon?
about $1.90 a gallon now.
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash for 12 percent
@@enjoythesho1992 yes always. The pool supply stores Cary that hot sh!
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash man I wish I could find one that has it like that I've been having to buy it by the gallon jugs 5 bucks a gallon and sometimes hard to find they are no pool stores in my area that sales it like that
@EnjoyTheSHO oh yea that sucks to buy it in small increments like that. And it's expensive too
How are you getting such a great pattern with your 12v system? I have tried the soap tip in a wand, and one of the CanPump Blue guns, but my 5.5GPM 70PSI soft wash pump doesn't give me nearly the flow that you have.
These nozzles are made for 12v pumps. They aren't the nozzles that you would normally use for your pressure washer downstream injector setup
Any chance you'd help a Space Coast soft washer with a recommendation? I've been going mad with trying to get a good pattern on my 12V system
@@kylecotton4024 I use a 2540 and a 0040 nozzle for my softwash pump. You can also use a super wide fan nozzle that one is a 6530
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it. I actually have those on my J-Rod... Cannot wait to give this a try in the morning!
How hot is your mix?
5% mix for roof cleaning
🎯💯
Thank you brother.
✌🏼
Thanks D!
How many did you crack 😂
None. I made sure to get proper training before attempting to get into this.
What size is your SH tank?
65 gallons
what is your pricing in tampa ?
Roofs usually goes for 20-35c a sq ft
Thank you sir. Safe travels and good luck. I started last year in Spring Hill FL I live on the same street as don from super blast. Haven’t introduced myself to him yet. I’m not wanting to get in his way. But I’d love to pick his brain on his early days on starting his business.
Hey Cliff, what are you charging per Sq. Ft. for tile roofs? Thanks 🙏
.25-30c depending on size and how dirty they are
Nope. Id replace the roof. My fat ass would break every tile... lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you wild lol
Like what?
Like BUTTA!
By the looks of it, you use no surfactants. Surfactants help penetrate better and stay wet longer.
Yes surfactant helps keeps it wet long and stick. Not penetrate.
Hi pops. Talk later.
Yes indeed.
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash :)
Cliff from PinkFlamingoPowerWash, works well with others....
