    Man this looks so similar to a job me and a colleague did a few months back. I was terrified to walk on the roof but I have another one coming up here soon and I'm going to invest in some Huk boots. Glad to see the 12-volt can make it happen. Thanks for showing the proper way to walk on the shingles. Good job and good luck bro!

    Question from a noob, Any reason for me to keep my xjet over building a budget 12v softwash system? I just got it in the mail and all I can think of is the softwash can do everything the xjet can do and better and more things like roofs instead of carrying a bucket or connecting to a backpack sprayer.
    Can a 5.5gpm softwash pump let me connect long hose and just use that and still have enough pressure to hit roofs? Seems like that might be a better way to go and I should send the xjet back or am I wrong?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea the Xjet is gonna get everything done except for roofs because you will have a ton of runoff. Aside from that its a very good tool if you like carrying that sh pail around with you.
      A 5.5gpm soft wash pump with 200ft of 1/2 inch hose is the standard softwash system. Its a perfect tool for roofs but its really not need for house washes and pool cages because you can just use a downstream injector for those.

      Thanks for the response.
      Another thing I wanted to ask you is, when you're calling out different percentages of SH like 5%, 10% etc., how are you coming to those percentages? Do you have a machine on your truck. I don't have the equipment you do but if I'm mixing in a sprayer how would you get 5 and 10% and so forth?
      Do you think it's a good idea to rinse the SH off the roof after it has done its cleaning? I'm talking about tile roofs?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  ปีที่แล้ว

      @Cl BO the percentages are the strength of the SH. So basically sh comes in 12.5% and 10% ans that's too strong to spray on a house or roof. So therefore mixing it water brings it down. Say u got a 20 gallon batch tank. 10 gallons sh and 10 gallons water (if you got 10% sh) that would be a 50/50 mix aka a 5% mix since it's half a half.
      I dont rinse roofs unless it's metal but sure you can rinse those.
