Guys, thanks for the info! And to John’s point, I’ve watched each of his videos twice and pick up something new each time! I appreciate you guys putting it all out to help everyone!
Absolutely one of your better videos by far. As always great information but brought the personal side with it. From getting pulled by DOT, Flip Flops, paint dripping on the rails, banned from Costco and dogs. Great video!! Side note; we learned a lot from Jesse as we started as well.
Something a little different that I wasn't exactly sure what to of expected myself. It's pretty clear that everyone who gave it a listen and watch thought we did alright on it. Hated to see Jesse leave the TH-cam space, but honestly, I completely understand why. Thanks for taking the time to watch tonight, very much appreciated.
"the biggest thing since 2024 is just answering the phone".....Wisdom beyond his years. Great exchange, a very interesting chat amongst three future industry leaders.
Answering the phone is key in any business regardless of 2024 or any other year. That's with no question something we all agreed on as a major factor in being successful. Thanks for taking time to watch the video and leave a comment. Much appreciated.
A - we love our Pete 220, great little truck that does everything we need, good luck with its sibling. B - Cody is spot on, great to have a cable truck to jump in. And 7k was a steal! All of our cans are combo pull, even the dozen or so new ones we bought after we sold the last cable in July or August. If we needed a truck today we could have a cable truck today and we can handle all of our cans with it. Much easier to find if something catastrophic happened and we needed trucks now. C - the bulk of the shared ideas I agree with, especially for younger companies, but I don't think many established guys are content to sit on their ass and let the tech surpass them. A lot of the tech in this industry is there from the established guys pushing for it or creating it. Good video ✅👍
Cody def got into the first truck of his right with no questions. I'm excited for Cory's new truck as it will help my operation as well when he's setting and picking cans for me. This is def the power of a strong network and even better relationships. We all enjoy each other and have become close friends thru the amazing power of trash! Thanks for your insights as always my friend. Keep the east coast clean guys. Happy Holidays.
@@samedaydumpster defintely agree it's great to have people you can help, and can help you. And even more so now with the xfer than before we have great local friends that can, and have pitched in when we had trucks down or just too much work to handle. Leads to your cdl/non cdl point also, with two books cdl trucks we can put well trained, experienced guys from our shop in a truck, our foreman has spent days in the cabover moving small cans so the cdl guys can stay on task with the big cans. Again, a lot of good info that people can learn from in the 30-45 minutes of video (ok, I admit it, I watch at increased speed 😂😂)
Aircraft de-icer is a mixture of propylene glycol, alcohol and water, heated to around 150 degrees. Preston deicer for cars is chemically similar, but may have different component mix ratio.
Exactly like the mining trucks do to keep the beds warm so that material doesn't freeze up. Someone.. at some point will make this feature and change the game for frozen dumpsters for those of us that fight thus every winter. Great comment and suggestion.
Frozen bins can be a problem i don’t work in winter as much but maybe try a teflon impregnated paint inside or possibly one inch angle welded on floor to allow more air space between.
Frozen dumpsters are a problem for anyone and everyone who lives in an area with sub freezing temperatures. The magic bullet continues as we all try to find a better way to deal with them. Until then.... I'll keep digging out frozen trash, as I work every week. every month of the year. Thanks for checking out this video.
Honestly Andrew, it was just a one off thing I out together. Hadn't planned on doing it on a regular basis. But I'll kick it around as it seems everyone enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback brother.
Great content Keep them coming! While watching the video I heard you mentioned that your Peterbilt was not 4x4. Would you recommend the Chevy 6500 hooklift truck have the 4x4?
Yes. The Chevrolet 6500 is the largest 4WD truck you can buy commercially. That's one of the reasons I think it makes the perfect hooklift truck for anyone getting started.
That's a very good question. I have no idea. I haven't heard form Cory in awhile, I've heard he closed up shop, but then I heard he bought a new truck. Your guess is as good as mine.
So I run maxed, I know your down on trailer dumpsters. For some guys that don't have the credit or ready to do hooklift. Believe me I'm looking. But, I'd like to see more for us guys that run trailers. You say your having a dot come and do an inspection, I'd like to see that with a trailer set up. I know a hook lip would be more efficient. But right now that's not an option. I've watched you for quite a while even before I got started. And I would like to see some content with trailers and ideas in options until I am able to move up. I am not a content provider. I don't think I could ever be. Or I would do something like that. But then I really wouldn't want to get slammed by all the hook lyft driver saying I don't know what i'm doing.. All the white making money at what i'm doing.
I'm not down on trailer dumpsters, it's actually quite the opposite. I've said this in several videos that I think that's where everyone should start. If you watch all my videos, you will see in many of them that I tell guys that's where they should start. That's where I started and I feel it's key for anyone looking to be successful in this industry. As far as doing a video for a DOT Inspection on a trailer, that would be extremely difficult for me as I no longer own any trailer setups my friend.
I have a dumpster manufacturer in northern Indiana that builds way better dumpsters and will do anything custom. This company builds most of the dumpsters in northern Indiana for the big company’s and transfer stations. The reason you’ve never heard of him is because he’s Amish haha
1:23:25 been going through what has popped up at this point & still really enjoying. Dumpsters & donuts gave me some awesome insight. Thanks
That was a fun episode to film for sure. We had a good time.
Love it
Thank You Brother.
Guys, thanks for the info! And to John’s point, I’ve watched each of his videos twice and pick up something new each time! I appreciate you guys putting it all out to help everyone!
I am all caught up and in the process of starting over
A true student of the game. It will pay off big for you brother.
Thanks for the continued support Chase. Very much appreciated brother.

Great episode guys. Dumpsters and donuts is a must. Informative and entertaining.
Thanks for checking it out, glad it was entertaining and useful.
That might be the best ending to a podcast i've ever seen. 🤣
That's just what we caught on film and the audio, it actually went even further. Can't make the best stuff up, it just happens.

I’m Team Cody with the combo cans! 💪 It’s a great backup plan for the guys growing and needing support.
It's a very smart move for anyone looking to have a solid "backup" type plan. Love the new logo BTW.
@@samedaydumpster Haha, gotta have a little fun with it. Now to figure out how to hypnotize my way to 1k+ subscribers. 😁
Absolutely a great video couldn't have planned it if you tried
Thank You Mike for taking the time to watch and support the channel. Drive safely out there today.
Red Bull and Donuts. Great Healthy Diet! 😮 Loved It!
Both the Red Bulls and donuts were eaten by the younger kids at the table. I'm too old and too healthy for that diet. Cory.... he lives on that stuff!
@@samedaydumpster I can't drink that either. When I was younger yes. Great show you guys did. Loved it!

I knew someone would know what its made of. I'm going to look into Preston De-icer for sure. Thank You for the heads-up.
You definitely give out great information appreciate that. If you go into any business thinking you don’t have to work hard you have already failed.
Very wise words right there my friend. Thanks for always supporting and taking time to interact with each video, very much appreciated.
It would be nice if they subframe could route the heat from the exhaust through under dumpster.

I love this, you guys should do this a lease once a month or so, 👍

I know what I’m listening to first thing in the morning! I’ve got a 2 ½ hour drive ahead of me.
Drive safely out there today Chase. Thank You for keeping us all safe. I appreciate you.

Deicer works pending the rental term length. It’s tacky similar to diesel fuel though
Great to know! Thanks for the insight.
airplane de-icer is a mix of water and propylenglycol .
Great tip. Thank You!
Alpine out of business? Cant find them online anywhere..
