    Great content brada! I find that this pricing structure is 100% accurate. I get folks that say I’m the cheapest and last week I got a long term contracted that complained saying I’m too expensive. It was crazy they saying they been good too me and it’s messed up that I charge all kinds of fees. When I looked into it they were complaining that I charged all the extra days and overage tonnage they piled up. I think they are almost done with the job and now realizing how much other cost has been going up and taking it out on us. However, our service and pricing had stayed the same over the past year. In fact we took the off the $25 daily after 2 days and moved them to a $100 per week and included 1 week in the price saving the hundreds of dollars without them
    asking is to do that for them. We were just giving them the new price we are charging other newer contractors. Also these contractors are the ones that negotiated our price if saying they we’re going g to move all there other jobs to us but that never happens. So now we figured out that contractors that try and negotiate our prices don’t come through on their end so we don’t give an inch.

      Yea bro. You gotta be careful, sometimes these contractors will agree to anything without thinking just to get the dumpster on site, and then want to bit*h about price after the fact. Not happening. Pre-pay, sign my agreement or I don't roll. Appreciate the watch!

    Great video Josh.. Like you said number one thing gotta do your own research and figure out your true cost of running. From your cost of labor, disposal fees, trucking costs and replacement , dumpster Depreciation and replacement, Administrative cost, marketing / advertising /branding /lead generation , overhead, etc.... There's a lot of factors to consider And the biggest one people forget is profit.

    This is great information. I think my prices are probably a little lower than what you are but it seems like in my area I have way more them folks that are like I can hall it myself cheaper. Then again the big three in my area are over double with my prices are from about the same size dumpster or

      I thought renting a wood chipper and cutting down all the overgrown brush at my flip house would be easy and save me money too, till I did it this past Sunday. 5 hours later we barely cleared out 1/5th of what was there. I should’ve gone with the pros who quoted me $4k. Moral is, people will always think they can do it cheaper and faster. It’s our job to explain to them why choosing us is a better option. Some will listen to reason.

    Good info. I find I don’t have an issue running 10-20 touches a week but if I have a failure of some sort, it throws a wrench in everything. Which I know you know with your recent issues on the hino.

    Hey Josh, have you thought about getting maybe 3 of the 14' hook flatbeds, where you can lift onto your hook trucks and use those to move equipment, I know some people can move vehicles/tractors, you can probably deliver sand, rock, turf, sod etc? Just another form to make money with and fill in those days where maybe all of your dumpsters are rented and you're still making money with those as well? Thanks, Brian

      @AmericanAFDumpsters  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Check out my recent posts, I have a flatbed I use to deliver materials to some of my flip job sites. Just delivered 16k pounds of fencing and a pallet of concrete a week or two ago. I don't really have time to offer it as a service to customers as my trucks usually stay busy delivering dumpsters but we will see how winter keeps 2 trucks running!

    Goal is to get 10 - 20 yarders. I have 6 at the moment. Day rates and week rates mainly. I’m pretty laid back about the time their out because I do work Powerlines during the day. I’m in south Texas but dam those dump fees are going up like crazy.

      @AmericanAFDumpsters don't wanna say especially if it's common. Not a big town easy to get blacklisted and harassed by local PD. Happened to a guy who owns a pretty legit junk removal business... just doing small stuff anyway. Thought about going door to door even just asking if they got anything big they want to throw away.

    How much do you charge for monthly services having a hard time trying to figuring it out

    • @AmericanAFDumpsters
      @AmericanAFDumpsters  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't. I just don't have enough dumpsters for someone to sit on one for a whole month. However, if someone wants to, they will pay my weekly rate and then pay a daily rate for however long they want it for. So for instance, someone wants my 20 yard, it's $420 for the week plus tax, includes 7 days and 2 tons. After that, the daily rate is $20/day.

    • @andrespantoja1003
      @andrespantoja1003 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @ch4osaeternum74

      I'm a trucker. If you are driving a dieseler. I personally wouldn't go lower than 2.50 a mile in today's economy. And you got to think. Most of your driving is city. So your gas mileage is even worse.
