Nobody can deny this.. Its a clear win for Note 8.. Audio is exceptionally good and overall picture quality is much better and has dramatic look.. video stabilization both did great but front video stability was noticably better on Note 8.. So, Samsung did a pretty good job here..

Get the iPhone unless you're ready for a change and I mean serious change. People get iPhones every year because it's "new" but really, they're just going to the same design, same features, and a slightly better camera. Going from iPhone to Note is going to be really different but I personally LOVE my Note. I love the camera, I love the customization, the pen is freaking awesome. Besides, you're going to have to wait for iPhone X unless you have money to buy one through a third party. Let us know!

Never owned an iPhone or a Samsung but if I was picking one based off this I would go with the Samsung. The majority of pictures and video looked better on the Note. Hey supersaf. Next time you do a comparison you shouldnt put the names of the which video is from what phone. So then people don't get biased and they can truly decide which video is better. Then later on in the video you can reveal which side of the the video is from what phone
This would be a good suggestion if they were closer in quality. Subjective bias aside, the note 8 in this comparison is objectively better. The only thing that could be argued in the X's favour is the colour profile, and that's entirely subjective.

I had the Galaxy Note 3,4, and 5 (no need to mention why I didn’t get the 7). This time around I wanted to try something different and decided to purchase the iPhone 8 along with the Apple Watch series 3. I love my new watch but starting to regret not buying the Galaxy Note 8. I feel so restricted with this iPhone and After one month with this phone I might trade it in for the Note 8. Both phones are great but the iPhone can’t compare to quality I had on my previous Samsung Galaxy Note phones.

DJ yasi well its a completely understandable reason why they did that... they want the numbering on note series in-line with their s-series so the note series won't look outdated. BUT, its unlikely they'll leapfrog s9 to s10 without a reason though.
TechnO they just sent the footprints .. rest everything was done by samsung .. (they haven't made the screen A+ grade like note 8's screen , because that was the strategy)
Note 8 looked better when running and walking and also had better detail throughout the video and the audio was much better on the note 8 aswell OIS (optical image Stabilization) was also much better on the note 8

This would be a good suggestion if they were closer in quality. Subjective bias aside, the note 8 in this comparison is objectively better. The only thing that could be argued in the X's favour is the colour profile, and that's entirely subjective.

I had the Galaxy Note 3,4, and 5 (no need to mention why I didn’t get the 7). This time around I wanted to try something different and decided to purchase the iPhone 8 along with the Apple Watch series 3. I love my new watch but starting to regret not buying the Galaxy Note 8. I feel so restricted with this iPhone and After one month with this phone I might trade it in for the Note 8. Both phones are great but the iPhone can’t compare to quality I had on my previous Samsung Galaxy Note phones.

DJ yasi well its a completely understandable reason why they did that... they want the numbering on note series in-line with their s-series so the note series won't look outdated. BUT, its unlikely they'll leapfrog s9 to s10 without a reason though.
