They are both amazing...Very good points. I like the Note 8 better but the iPhone X is good too. I think it comes down to personal preference and what you do with your phone. You have more options with the Note 8 and for that reason and for what I use it for I choose the Note 8.

Nielle Serolf I use the S pen for designing skyscrapers everyday. Every time I get an idea I can just sketch it wherever I am. Then when I'm home I use the sketches as a reference before using 3d rendering software. I would never switch to iphone even if someone paid me to do it.

You forgot Edge Lighting when there's a notification or the one with the sensor where you can reject if someone's calling you using the sensor and will automatically send a message to the caller that you can't talk right now. You also forgot Iris, Fingerprint security, and Always On Display features. Note 8 all the way!

In the Czech Republic, the operators of the main cathedral prohibited the use of cameras and tripods. I had to record a day of video with only a Note 3. The video pulsed as the camera searched for focus. Good image quality, good enough for educational TV, but we had to edit around the pulsing.
I need a cellphone that looks like a cellphone but serves as a broadcast quality video camera. If you -- or one of your viewers -- could direct me to such a phone, thank you in advance.

I've owned iphone 3gs, 4s, 5 and 6 plus now. And all four of them either gave away completely or had some other issues that'll be very expensive to repair. I mean for the price of repairing one of those you could buy yourself a brand new phone from the other brands out there. Each phone lasted only about 1 and a half to two years. And now with the damn grey flickering bar on the screen of my 6 plus and the touch disease, that's it for me with iphones. I don't think I'll ever buy an iphone again. It's time to get a note 8!

Randell Alderson - I didn't see it that way but to each their own. I do agree the speakers on the iPhone are better than the Note. That was about the only advantage I could see. Some reasons were a stretch like better cases. That's not only not true but irrelevant when comparing phone capabilities. Same for app store vs play store. I had a feeling it was going to be difficult to find 25 reasons why the iPhone is better than the Note. I still can't get past the notch on the iPhone. It is without doubt the ugliest iPhone I have ever seen. I couldn't imagine watching a video and staring at that thing the whole time. Steve Jobs must be rolling in his grave.

All you get with note 8 is a pen and a camera which does not improve the picture quality much.

The specs & features are way more advanced, different Android versions, different snap dragons etc. They're different series (the note and the galaxy) , you just have to look in depth on the differences of the phones. You're paying the right price for the Note.

LG v30 and Note 8 has different Android versions which will end up being similar is some weeks/months but iPhone has a whole different os..
The only real difference between LG v30 and Note 8 is the UI.
Just received my note 8. Upgraded from the nexus 6p. Used to own a note 3 and have been waiting ages for this bad boy. Left it to update and can't wait to finish night shift and play around with this monumental beast. Loved drawing on my note 3, so looking forward to the 4096 pressure points to create a doodle masterpiece.

Obviously the iPhone X is the best phone you can get. Yes it’s expensive. But it’s the best phone. Who needs a shifting headphone jack and a little heart rate monitor when you have AirPods and an Apple Watch....
AAO 786 I agree with you 100%. I have an iPhone X myself and I love it much better than my Galaxy Note 8. Obviously the iPhone is a much nicer and faster phone hardware wise. I was mostly talking about if you prefer iOS or Android. Software wise they are both very capable phones. All I was saying was it comes down to preference which OS you like.

You forgot live messages, custom ROMs, you don't have that notch, fingerprint scanner and Iris scanner besides face unlock, heart rate monitor, dual SIM, more pixel density, some apps are free whereas in the Apple store you have to pay, simple use, IP 68 vs IP 67, etc.. (you can make another 25 reason)
So in the other video the iPhone x had only a few useful reasons whereas the note 8 you have 18 important reasons and he forgot to include some
