I remember your Mom's toffee and candy fondly. Thanks for this, my friend. Made me smile thinking about all the memories as kids. Looks so delish.

Try ‘bartenders friend’ on your pan! I’ve had great success bringing old burnt pans back to life!
Trying this recipe this weekend. I’m going to roll the broken pieces into cookie crumbs to make ‘coal’ 🤭😂. Very excited to try this. Thanks for sharing 🫶🏼

I haven’t made that for years. I think I’ll make a big batch for Christmas would be a great idea.

Thank you for this recipe, here in Scotland we call it Puff Candy or Chocolate Puff Candy when it's coated with the chocolate xx Liked shared to my Facebook and subscribed.

I agree with you, the science behind baking is interesting! I like to learn how and why things turn out the way they do...sometimes, it alleviates the frustration of a fail!
Take care and I hope you guys have a great day!

Would this work with maple syrup in place of corn syrup? Sounds fabulous!

Good morning! I believe you can use maple syrup instead of corn syrup but I have not tried it. Here is a link to a recipe using maple syrup:

I hope that helps...take care and have a great day!

Don't really need the cream of tartar.😊
