    I kinda disagree with what he said about if nature and man were in balance there would be no need for graffiti. cuz even when things were balanced there was some thug ass caveman putting his tag up on cave walls.

    Graffiti is a desperate attempt by the powerless to make a statement, however it defaces the work of millions of stone masons, architects, carpenters, brick layers, trade union workers and craftspeople of past ages.
    Graffiti is the untrained etching of millions of frustrated kids with paint cans.
    In a better world these kids would be trained in color, perspective, dimension, draughting, preparing a ground, choosing a subject, etc and their "tags" would be brilliant objects worth looking at.
    As it is now they copy one another for the most part, as witnessed by the fact that you see the same tags from Buenos Aires to Montreal, from Quito to Madrid and it's visually boring.

    • @robroy6374
      @robroy6374 ปีที่แล้ว

      exactly.

    • @ecky5587
      @ecky5587 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      when you say 'kids would be trained in color, perspective, dimension, draughting, preparing a ground, choosing a subject, etc' this is just getting rid of those personalities and uniqueness that come with graffiti. With graffiti there are no boundaries, you dont have to worry about staying inside the lines of society. The reason you say every tag is bland is because you havent GENUINELY taken a good look at them. Society tells you a certain type of art IS art, and a certain type ISNT art and you just blindly listen and agree. Some of these pieces take hours, days even do draw and create.

    Graffiti is a racist term , the correct term is Urban art.

    • @UnasTheOnly
      @UnasTheOnly 8 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      no its not, the absolute correct term is graffiti and race has nothing to do with it don't be foolish

    • @grandconjunct
      @grandconjunct 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You're are just saying that because of the white supremacist system you are blind too and blindly follow , its Urban Art , not valueless graffiti , free your mind from the slave mentality , you don't have to wear chains anymore.

    • @UnasTheOnly
      @UnasTheOnly 8 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      slave mentality? wear chains anymore …riiight haha who are you dude, huey freeman? graffiti exist outside of "urban" landscapes, its an expression a movement and a mentality like hip hop or punk. not saying you have not BUT you most likely never dedicated most your time and love into the graffiti world and lifestyle its something thats a part of the person who creates it not where its created

    • @grandconjunct
      @grandconjunct 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Free your mind slave , its urban art not "graffitti"

    • @Robertjack29
      @Robertjack29 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      All you are doing id pulling the race card... with no evidence or reason? how does calling it graffiti make someone a white supremacist?
