The big thing looks like the internal unit for the heat pump probably integrated with hot water tank (I have Nibe myself - good choice :) ), and the thing on the wall looks looks central vacume cleaner.

That is very true, that you have to pay extra for everything in German cars. I as a German do not drive a German car and that is one of the reasons. You start configuring and stumble across some weird mutual exclusions in the config like when you want "blinkers" you cannot have a "rear view mirror" (I am exaggerating). I am happy with my Ioniq 6, configuration is pretty straight forward.
Porsche is famous for giving you nothing out of the box and mocked over here in Germany for it. The other German luxury brands are now more in the packaged business, so you buy packages and a lot is then included.
Wor, your floor looks just like the one in my new house, but mine is vinyl. I think we even got the same heat pump (Nibe S2125)

Regarding Dolby on the eqe. I have dolby atmos on my new laptop, and if set IT up with the eq for movie and watch a video from the internet (low quality) i get the dolby effects… I can feel the sound coming all around… but it is making me dizzy 😂
So you might need to find a setting somewhere in the infotainment to activate it

Hey Bjørn 🙋🏻♂️. Could you include the car specific Smartphone App to your Test? If it’s possible. In my opinion they differ a lot. And not every car app works like Tesla
The two burning lights at your house would cost 42€/year in Germany. The cost for a sensor would pay off fast at our location.
It's irrelevant. In Norway they cost €10/year and adds extra cozyness and safety at night.

You said you didn't measure the battery. But i toughed that some EQE models have different battery types. For example the EQE 300 has another type than the EQE350 4Matic (According to EV-database)

That Zeekr Czech license plate is a factory/prototype one. I was surprised by a Czech plate - Czech Republic is quite behind in EV brand availability (no Ora, no BYD, no Polestar, no Nio etc.)
If partitioning a corner and putting in a camping toilet and a mobile sink is not sufficient for sprucing it up to count as a separate office building, renting it out as a garage/storage building/charging location surely would be possible.
Hello Björn. I also have brand new EQE 350 4 matic and during driving I couldn’t find ‘energy flow’ screen as like yours. My car also has heat-pump so I think it has also DCU. How could you find that ‘energy flow’ menu? For example you can see in your video at 17:50

The big minus with laminate is you cant spill water and leaving it there. You need to mop it up right away. Also cant clean the house while using lots of water on the ground when moping the floors.
Because laminate will get dampen and edges will start to expand = cant fix that, need to replace it. With parkett that does not happen, that's why its more expensive.
But of course if you are not clumsy you save money with laminate and it looks better IMO because you have more cool looking options . :)
this is generally wrong, and the other way around. laminate floors can handle water way way better than wooden parquet

@@kylewiebe6506 and it still is. Laminate is made out of literally paper and resins. And parquet is made out of wood.
@@MaxFiveGames Cheap laminates are definitely susceptible to water in the way you say, but mid-tier and up, laminate has improved a lot.
You test a lot of different Mercedes variants and I get it when Mercede give them like that. But for example you have only tested the Ioniq 5 72,6kwh version and not the 77kwh version that came almost a year ago. I would really like to see the new Ioniq 5 in 1000km challenge in warm dry weather. also to see if doesn't overheat any longer! 😁
ioniq 6 would be even more interesting due to the high efficiency
@@Toujours_Lyon He has tested the long range rwd Ioniq 6, but then there is also the 4WD and the standard range. also I don't know if it was a rwd or 4wd ioniq 5 he tested !?

EQE should just be a 3 door version. And the same with Model 3. There is no reason to have 5 doors because its not meant for 4 people for long trips! It will also make it stand out

For EVs it screams internal screen side mirrors and outside only a camera, just like Audi did. These bulky side mirrors take away 5 to 10 percent of range.
So much better than a Tesla.
