Exactly!! Before they were vampires they were witches, regardless of danger class, and they think hundreds of years will go by without the girls growing in power?? Not to mention the fact that they did no further research into her faith, she's a witch, how did they forget that?! To make everything even worse, they've been infiltrated at some point and for who knows how long. Ares wasn't kidding about them being allowed to exist because they let them, this organization sounds so budget cut.
They were goners the second they crashed a party thrown by a Maenad, and then they didn't even run when she picked up an instrument. Yeah, officer, it was suicide.
When it mentioned her scraping the strings, I at once pictured her playing Pink Floyd's Run Like Hell.
I’m also going to suggest it was arrogant to assume that 12 assumingly gorgeous vampire witches they haven’t been able to touch for 400 years hadn’t groomed a man to spy from the inside of their organization!!
Knowing this was their ‘only’ chance would seem questionable as to why one was letting her guard down. They should’ve assumed it was a trap to begin with and had alternative plans in play that the first team wasn’t aware of. This would’ve given them a second chance to detonate the stage or even secure an exit route if the first plan went to heck.
I’m gonna need a whole series with all 12 Sisters being dealt with! It can’t possibly end right here!!

I was thinking "oh, I see.. the vampiress is going to be a good guy, feeding the homeless, so we are conflicted about the kill..."
Then the reveal, and I was like "oh, nope... nope, she's the bad guy."
If yer first thought was 'oh how nice of them to make a charity for the homeless' instead of 'oh, great, they've made an expendable snack buffet' ...

Another thing I found odd or strange was that all these supposedly consummate professionals were summoned and not a single one asked the most obvious two questions:
1) Why now, after all these years of hiding would one of theses sisters come out into open in such a public fashion?
2) Where/Who supplied you with this intelligence?
Another thing I found odd was that these guys broke a cardinal rule of warfare by choosing to do battle on their enemy's turf, in an area they couldn't control if things went sideways.
Thirdly, these professionals went in with no back-up, no perimeter security, no over-watch, no quick reaction force, to pull their asses out of the fire.... nothing.
Given how old this vampire hunting organization is, one would think they have enough money to provide back-up for their best operatives.
Hubris and complacency is what got them killed.
I love how your narration brings all the characters to life. You also don't overdo the sound effects or music cues. Just the right balance.
Haven't heard a story I didn't love thus far, but some stand out above the rest. This one definitely falls into that category for sure!! As always thank you for sharing your EPIC talent & skills with the rest of us. I think I can speak for everyone in saying we greatly appreciate it!!

@@cathrinewhite7629Dark Somnium and Lighthouse are the two best narrators out there. They both make what feel like the old radio shows. Ronnie does all his own sound design and does collabs with other narrators to voice different characters, where Stephan does an incredible job at voice acting each character himself. I used to listen to a couple other channels but I got hooked on these two completely.

You know it almost sounds like Aris and her sisters were actually minding their own business all those years and the author/hunter's organization were the ones being aggressive against them.

True, it really seems like the hunters were the bad guys. Not to mention they seem to have hurt rather innocent people in the past like random women interested in the occult and so forth and even most of the vampires seem to just want to get a fill of blood in a club from drunkards, never mentioned actually killing.
Thanks to reading this comment I'm now doing an alt listen to it where the exterminators are delusional and going after rich goth socialites really into anti-aging cosmetic enhancement, performance-enhancing drugs, and blood doping lol. Because when you strip the superpowers out of the bad guys that's kind of what you end up with.
I'm wondering what's up with 12 Underground. I mean I get it with the song and the movie called 6 Underground because that's how many feet under they bury you, but at 12 you kind of broke it.

Pretty good story considerably better than the average creepypasta for sure and actually a pretty interesting if it was like a TV pilot would be pretty good. Not sure if the actual author of this is already commented or is reading these comments sections or not but I have some pretty good ideas to go into this world they've already started to flesh out.

I’ve gotta say, I think this is a really fascinating tale. It’s nice to see a protagonist with some common sense, and I find Aris a fascinating antagonist. I don’t consider her the villain because, well, she isn’t. Not in the context of the story, anyway. She’s raised money for the homeless, and only ever retaliated in self-defense or an arguably debatable revenge ploy.
This tale has a lot of potential, and I sincerely hope that the author picks it back up again, as I can see this being expanded greatly upon. Great narration, as always!

I cannot deny that the theories have made it easier due to fear. It's nice when your prey believes you stronger than you are, but that's niether here nor there. Vampires are human,, just a different kind. My personal opinion, it's one of gods overpopulation countermeasures.
