Allanda - You’re a great mom. You have a beautiful family. Loved the video. I too eat food using smaller plates and bowls. I am doing a lot better on the water intake. Thank you for the tip. I went out to eat after the outlet mall venture and I haven’t been out to eat since I started my journey a month ago. Needless to say, I took 3/4 of my salad home. I did cheat and had a roll with the honey butter from Texas Roadhouse. Omgosh it was soooo good. Thank you so much for your videos and inspiration. Have a wonderful week everyone! ❤😊
@@debc929 🙏🏾 Thank you! Glad that you enjoy the time shopping! 🛍️ Any good finds? Leftovers are definitely a thing on a GLP journey! 😄 The Texas Roadhouse rolls are the bomb! We usually order a pack or two for the holidays. They sell them frozen. So delicious! 😋
@@Allanda180 Went to Buc-ees per usual. Got some lean brisket and cinnamon pecans. My friend found bargains at Adidas and Brighton I mainly went to get some walking in and man we walked 4 miles. Crazy, crazy. I’ll have to order rolls for the holidays. I wasn’t aware they were sold frozen. Yum!
That size plate is a great idea. Have you tried pineapple and cottage cheese? Yummm! Tofu takes on the flavor of whatever it’s cooked with. Different textures for different dishes.

Awesome video!!! 😃 Your sweet sweet kitty 🐈⬛ looks just like my cat! How adorable 🥰 😊 Is it a male or a female? And what’s its name?? My male cat name is Beighley 😌

@@kuntrygyrl2493 Yeah! Honestly, I was not nervous. I was desperate for change. However, when I started Saxenda, I was nervous. @@oliviapope6438 Excellent question! Protein has many benefits and advantages during a weight loss journey. Focusing on protein during weight loss can be beneficial for several reasons: 1. **Satiety**: Protein is more satiating compared to carbohydrates and fats, which means it helps you feel fuller for longer. This can reduce overall calorie intake and help manage hunger. 2. **Muscle Preservation**: When losing weight, especially through caloric restriction, there's a risk of losing muscle mass along with fat. Consuming adequate protein helps preserve lean muscle mass, which is important for maintaining metabolism and overall body composition. 3. **Thermic Effect of Food**: Protein has a higher thermic effect compared to carbohydrates and fats. This means that your body burns more calories digesting and metabolizing protein. This can contribute to a higher overall calorie expenditure. 4. **Metabolic Rate**: Maintaining or increasing muscle mass through adequate protein intake can help keep your resting metabolic rate higher, which is beneficial for weight management in the long term. 5. **Nutrient Density**: Protein-rich foods often contain essential vitamins and minerals. Including these foods in your diet can help ensure you meet your nutritional needs while losing weight. 6. **Blood Sugar Control**: Protein can help stabilize blood sugar levels when consumed with carbohydrates, preventing spikes and crashes that can lead to increased cravings and overeating. 7. **Improved Body Composition**: A higher protein intake can lead to a greater loss of fat relative to lean mass. This is important for achieving a healthier body composition. Incorporating sufficient protein into your diet during weight loss can enhance your efforts, making it easier to lose fat while preserving muscle, improving satiety, and supporting overall health. It's generally recommended to aim for a balanced intake of protein, alongside healthy fats and carbohydrates, to ensure a well-rounded diet.
