    So it's fine that I take my Mounjaro in the mornings thanks. I was hospitalized back in October diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. At the time of being hospitalized my blood sugar was almost 500. As of today my blood sugar has been consistently in the 85 to 110 range for the past 4 months. I just want to share with other visitors the only changes I have made to my diet. I know it might not work for everyone but some people may benefit from my changes. The first change I did was stopped drinking Soda. My drinks of choice now are 1 cup of Chocolate Milk a day and Gatorade Zero the rest of the day. The second thing I did was stop eating TV dinners. My third change was I started walking on a treadmill twice a day (started out at 30 minutes each session then progressed to 1 hour each session). The final change I made was to stop stressing out over stuff I can't control. My A1c started out over 11 last check up it was a 5.7. Hope my list is helpful to some others good luck everyone.

I'm on 0.25 dose and will take every Monday morning with my weekly vitamin d pill. So far, I've been OK but its already working I'm addicted to sugar and I don't have a craving for it. But right away my morning blood sugars are in the 80s and 90s! So I’m thrilled. No more over 100 since I started. No more anxiety attacks. Like right away. I sometimes have to make myself eat especially the couple days afterwards since not much of an appetite. But the exhaustion is beyond real. I’m so exhausted and kinda having sleep issues the 1st week. I hope this gets better then next few weeks cuz I can’t hang really tbh. I’ve nvr been in a prescription actual drug before either so it’s been rough for me. Pray for me

    Ozempic: Be wary of the days following the transition from 0.25 to 0.5 mg or 1 to 2 mg.
    About 48 hours after the first day (Friday night) of increased dosage I had G.I. problems severe enough to almost needing a day off of work.

      In about 2 weeks, I'm highering my dosage to 0.5 mg. I already have back pains. I'm physically disabled from a work accident that happened years ago. So I assume I won't notice the difference? I just hope I don't have more back pain.
      To prevent getting nausea or stomach aches after taking a shot, just sit about 1/2 hour doing nothing. If you're walking or doing the littlest things, it can cause an upset stomach. So wait it out for the medication to go through your body.

    I usually Mounjaro 5.0 MG on Saturday evenings at bedtime. Sundays are bad for me because I get very achy, fatigued, sulfur burps, and mild constipation. I rarely vomit. The only time I vomited was when I started Mounjaro two years ago during my first week. If I have to attend an event during the weekend I just change my injection day to Friday evening. This weekend I have to go to DC for the inauguration so I may take it Friday instead of Saturday. Christmas break I had very explosive diarrhea hich started on Boxing day up to the weekend. I skipped my injection during that week. I also found that pickles and it's juice have helped me with my upset stomach. I just suck on the pickle to get the juices on my tongue. It is a life saver.

    I took Mounjaro for 3 months. I lost 40 pounds but halfway through when I went to 5 mg I started to get gout in my ankle every week after injecting myself. I could barely walk and was not eating red meat or seafood. This medication definately causes gout in your joints

    Im starting tomorrow and i am nervous about side effects

    • @SugarMDs
      @SugarMDs  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Starting a new medication can understandably bring up some nerves, but it's great that you're taking this step for your health. While some people do experience side effects when starting medications like Ozempic, Trulicity, or Mounjaro, many find that these can be managed or subside over time. Common side effects may include mild digestive issues, but not everyone experiences them. It can help to stay hydrated and follow any specific guidance from your doctor. Make sure to reach out to your healthcare provider if you have questions or need adjustments. Wishing you the best of luck as you begin this new treatment-you’ve got this!

    I’m currently on Metformin 500mg and Jardiance 25mg as well as Crestor 10mg. I’m 5’10 180lbs. If I was to move to a once weekly injectable would it likely replace both Jardiance and Metformin? If not, which would it likely replace? This would still leave me taking a daily pill. Which of the injectables do you think does the best for weight loss/control? Which iyo has the least side effects?

    Is it required to let your Mounjaro come to room temp before taking?

    • @SugarMDs
      @SugarMDs  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, it's often recommended to let Mounjaro come to room temperature before administering it, as this can reduce discomfort during injection. Typically, allowing the medication to sit out for about 30 minutes before use can make a difference. However, always check the medication guidelines or consult with your healthcare provider for specific instructions!

    I think it's strange how these drugs in the same family have different side effects for different people. Ozempic and Wegovy had me puking in my bed. Mounjaro has been tolerable, so far (extremely bloated the day of injection week 1 and 2). Quite nervous about increasing dosage in month 2.
