This is another series that we will be making at Chaldea Gurus where we help you set up your Team with a focus in mind. This video goes over the Quick Cards.

@@doorbladder5735 you can't , there can only be maximum of 5 "your" servants. But you can always move support servant to the reserve , just click "line up" button in pre-battle menu and drag him in the reserve slot

Star gen is a bit more complicated than that. A character like Jack can produce waay more star than someone with a higher star gen rate because of how many times she hits her opponenet.
So the best star gen character are Assasins with many hits on theire Q cards.
dricsi07 thats true, but so long as your team is a pure quick team they'll normally be getting 10 cards a turn due to chains so its not necessary to have a super good assassin

You're most welcome! I try to go for Servants I know people will have so that everyone can try out the comp. =) Look out for an Arts version of this in the coming weeks
Things to note: even with Lancelot's absorption skill, He's not going to take all the stars if your team is full if riders and archers. If you're going for a full crit unloader team, you want ARCHERS because of independent action passively boosting their critical damage and high star weight, and other servents with crit boosting skills and naturally high star weight. Riders come to mind, but Lancelot is very good as well.
Your team should consist of 2 main crit unloaders and the rest of your team should be full support, whether that's waver + hans with a 2080 or straight up crit genners. (Note: Hans or Waver is KEY due to their insane crit boosting skills.)
(also note: this is for harder quests. For easy story quests, it's faster to just buster meme your way through or if you want to use crits, just fill your deck with riders and star genners)
What makes Gil so good is that he can make his own stars.

@@elgatto3133 That's not how it works. 60 times 10 is still "only" 600, and rider star weights tend to be about 200. The way star weight works is that you add every character's star weight together and then the percentage of that total pool will be their chance of getting any given crit star. So, in a Zerkalot and 2 rider set up, Lancelot will get about 60% of the crit stars. Compared to the around 80% if your other members are lancers, sabers, and assassins, and the even better rates if you have a caster or other berserker, having riders will gimp his potential. While the gap doesn't sound too massive on paper, when you're working with sub 30 crit stars (which is when star weight matters the most) it can have a pretty notable impact on your consistency.
Now, that's not to say anything about Saberlot. His base star weight is at saber base and his version of eternal arms mastery is the exact same as Zerkalot, and it's really hard for the game to argue with 6000 star weight.

I've been surprisingly lucky when it comes to the gacha. My quick team looks something like Cursed Arm, Gilgamesh, and Lancelot, with lancelot being the big hitter.
I'm more of an Arts person but I should probably give Crit/Quick teams a try... I have most of the servants and the necessary CEs featured in the video.

Nice video, as i said on reddit you can use Gilgamesh as star abs servant, his buster card will destroy anything.
In the future we will need come back to quick/arts-crit teams due to new CEs will be implemented both generate and absorb stars
so pretty much assasins and riders.

I think I must remake my team. My main now is Kid Gil, Kiyohime Berserker, Cu Chulainn Lancer, Gilles Saber.
I think you are failing to account for hit counts and competing star weights. Having two high star weight units will split the stars leaving both with not enough. Also Hassan is better than jing ke largely because he has 3 hit quicks. Star gen and np gen are multiplicative with hitcount, so high hit counts like Gil can generate a ton even with lower generation stats.
I suck at making quick teams but this definitely help! time to grind i guess >_

I have an enormous amount of Jing Ke but have yet to pull a single hassan. And I've been doing the free 10 pull every single day rofl.
Jing Ke tough to get? I got her every damn time im doing a 10 pull, stahp it I dont need too much Assassins in my team...

So I'm kinda new to playing this and I have some decent servants, one being Gil. If I would to run a Crit team with Gil in it should I run a double assassin with him or have him as anchor for back up if my front line dies out.

I have a np5, fully ascended hassan, and I feel like he's kind of weak. I have him , herc, and Gil as my main damage dealer right now. Idk. I just feel like he's not contributing as much as I'd like. Maybe I just don't know how to play crits right. Am I suppossed to just keep using crit cards every turn to increase stars? Or do I use crit cards one turn and buster cards for the next?
it depends. He has his moments of excellence but he definitely doesn't fit every situation. Him only being able to ascend to 65 is a problem in terms of his growth via ATK and HP.
With your team in mind, Heracles does a lot better job in a Buster focused team as he destroy everything in his path without quarter. To make the use of Hassan and Gil, you may want another servant that can generate stars. Getting the green crit cards is one way to do that but it's rare with 2 other servants with a lot of buster cards in there command card pool. If you have Jing Ke or Sasaki Koujiro, try them out and have Herc in the Reserves so if your servants go down, he'll come off the bench swinging

Hey man. I'm trying to build a good crit team. Is Hans lvl 90 NP5 better on a crit team than Tamamo lvl 90 NP1?
I still don't know why they didn't make edmond a full on quick avenger or a assassin but rolling him is a long long investment well until i get skadi that is :D

Just use MHX /Jack, Billy the Crit and a Waver/Hans/Memelin- for whales and for F2Ps like me go Hassan/Fuuma, Billy(or other dps it doesn't matter who it is)and a random servant with 3Q cards . For CEs if you use zerkers go for star weight (room guard or something similar), 2030 is best for the supports or the generators if you don't have it go for Be elegant/gandr or Q boost CEs. Here's a full meme team. Merlin,Billy,Jack(if you want ez starts usually go for 2nd Merlin to get the sweet 150% crit boost and than order change Billy in the backline and try to kill the servant you switched Billy with or stall, and then unload Wavers and Merlin crit buffs on Billy again and watch him nuke a bitch),Merlin,Waver,Hans/George lvl1/Tamamo(to stall the order change cooldown and if I'm correct her ult get 1 turn for mystic codes too even if it doesn't just stall that shit)

I actually liked the video and the team a lot but the thing is that right now i don't think is really necessary to build a team that works well with each other because you can just wreck everything with some zerkers or with any 5star even if it's from a friend.
That's one way to build team.

Quick question who would you build around Carmilla should I build her for crit because of the 3 quick cards she has or should I build her for np spam because of how fast she builds it
Good question! I'd say honestly it depends on what other servants you have. She's not bad in a Crit focused team but she doesn't have the amount of hits that would make her optimal in that set up.
I feel the NP spam set up may be better, especially if you have Servants/Supports that can increase the NP Gain. If you did put her in a Crit team, it would be for the quick cards she has and if you have her last skill. It decreases critical strength to the opponent and gains at least 5 stars for 3 turns. She also has a pretty useful NP against Female enemies.
well im running on NA so i dont have all the cool stuff yet (i cant read japanese and i want to read the story) and imagine i had all the NA servents what would you recommend for a team set up?
That's perfectly fine! We make our videos with NA in mind first =)
Ideal? If you go for crit. You need an assassin with high hit count and a decent amount of Quick Cards. Hassan, Jing Ke and Sasaki work for this. Lastly, you'll want to have a servant that can take advantage of those stars. Rider classes, as said in the video, are the best fit for this. Ushiwakamaru is my personal favorite but Medusa is also good as well for her skill set.
If you add in higher rarity servants, Gilgamesh is pretty broken in this setup. Lancelot also can give a ton of stars from his noble phantasm if you have his second skill unlocked. However, these servants can be a bit warping and won't mess too well with Carmilla. When Okita comes out, which should be very soon, she'll fit in well in a quick team. Ideally? Okita, Carmilla and another Assassin to create more stars. Video should explain a bit more about about the finer details
Musaki so after looking at this I was wondering what you think of carmilla,ushi, and Lancelot as my primary team amd jin and maybe a saber as a back up until okita also I'm really happy you make these videos they are super helpful
How do you limit brake (accend) a craft essence
You can limit break a craft essence by putting 4 copies of the same Craft essence into one. So it's harder to limit break 5 star CEs unless you're really lucky
i have endiku 5*,and carmilla 4*,what team can i make with this?
Enkidu is an odd for one sure. He's a Buster Quick servant that is definitely the power house of the team. As of now, so low options to help support him would be Hans Christian Andersen for his crits and great NP, and either a Support Waver or if you have them Atalante. Even the new Assassin, Assassin of the Nightless City, is very good quick support.
Carmilla, as well, needs a team around her to support her. Her main niche is against females and is a ST NP like Enkidu. Again, Hans is good or even Cursed Armed Hassan if you want to keep the crit stars flowing. Her NP is a buster NP, however, very much like Enkidu. So if you want NP damage, someone that can support that would be good as well.

My preferred crits team is Hassan and Shiki (or replace one of them with Jack because Support) for the crits and Lancelot to unload them onto the enemy.
Robin Hood also works well, having natural crit weight and being able to seriously benefit to a little boost in his NP gain, what with him having that Yew Bow of his.

I still think that a quick team in this stage is handicapping yourself. Without being able to generate 50 stars in a semi-consistent manner I dont think teams will be able to deal out enough damage without crits.

There isn't any quick team, there is only critical team. Mainly because green card damage is the lowest. A critical green card is the almost same as a normal red card. This is the reason why people use CE and skills to increase their crit damage. If you really want a "quick team". Double jack plus okita all equipping imaginary around is the only team I found actually good.
How to setup your quick team
Step zero: don’t, quick cards are objectively the worst. Just wait for skadi! If skadi isn’t here, use literally anything else!
Step one: wait for skadi if skadi isn’t here, proceed to step zero.
Step two: use scathath-skadi
