A couple of characters you didn't mention, Eurayle is a fantastic archer and her Anti male niche allows her to nuke even the strongest of late game male bosses, she also has many skills that help her a lot. Also David's Harp of healing is an amazing thing to have especially if you running into more debuffs you can handle. Ushiwakamaru is a really strong rider because she can buff her team a lot, deal decent damage, help with generating crit stars and has a single target NP that deletes casters. Gregorios/St George is a great tank much like Mashu, and can work if you have Seigfried because his NP Ascalon grants the Dragon trait to his target. Fergus may not have as strong buffs as ceasar he does have much better stats and a nice NP. Cu is a godly lancer but Rhomulus is really good for farming and buffs (Especially if you don't have Elizabeth). Not to mention Cu prototype becomes really good after his strengthening quest. And of course Leonidas who can loop his NP and be almost immortal. Another good Caster is shakespeare as he can charge his Allies NP much like waver. Although Lu bu is the best berserker you should max np Asterios and level him later on as his NP helps a ton for boss killing endgame. Jing Ke may not generate as much stars as hassan but still comes close to it supporting better stats and more damage, wish she had that evade tho lol.
Was wondering why Medusa was in the video lol, but I get it. Ushi is the superior of the 2 but I like using Medusa alot more cause... well I like her 😆. The servants that helped me out the most when I started out were Caesar, Cursed Arm, Cu, and Medea. Caesar especially, due to the lack of budget sabers and me not getting one until GudaGuda. Even now I still use him quite alot. I really like him in general despite the flack he get’s for his design and his character.
I know you probably won’t see this but thank you for the guide dude, it helped me out a lot in the early game and introduced me to my favorite servant, Lu Bu. Wouldn’t have had my experience without this video.
I am using Cu and Medea since the beginning and they never let me down, the others that carried my team for a good amount of time was Caesar, Ushi (those two are beasts dealing damage) and Jing Ke because she is a nice waifu.

Cu, Hans, and Ushi pulled their weight and more when I started out. Glad you showcased Caesar. Sadly, I've seen some folks completely ignore him despite having a limited saber pool just cuz he's fat.
Leonidas has been immensely useful for me, he was able tank all my fights with Cu Alter. Then there's Alexander, my main boy. He's an excellent support for my Okita and Scathach. I'm definitely gonna grail him to 100.
Yet another great video, KeiKollections! Thank you for your work! :3 Hassan was my first assassin and I'm very grateful to him. Though I leveled up Koujiro almost at the same time as well and used them both. I think Koujiro was also the first servant who've got a final ascention but since then he's still lvl 50 due to my big luck with assassins :D My Cu is 90 lvl and I'll keep using him anyway even if I get a gold lancer!.. haha. I don't have much luck with gold. Unfortunately my Mash is still at 45 lvl 'cos I rarely used her due to the loss of bond points. Instead Hans've helped me a lot with support. Oh and David! His second skill is super helpful! He survives even against lancers lol. Sure Hit and Skill Seal on his NP are have some uses too. He and Robin are my main archers! And KoGil is my favourite one :D My main caster was Paracelsus because Medea hasn't been coming for some time. He's not great-great but good for farming in Arts team or so I think :) Ushi, Medusa and Lu Bu have been ignoring me for some time as well but I've had my favourite tanky queen Maria and Tamamo the Cat from the very begining so that's fine :D Even if their roles are quite different. I can't stop ranting about FGO, sorry.. Overall now I'm trying to level up all of my servants and don't burn anyone. I will find a use for all of them! No one gets left behind! >:D
Nice video for f2p newbies. Although, I pretty rarely use them. Hell! Almost all those servants still in lvl 1 or 1st ascencion except Cu and Kojiro. As a newbie I got Marie, Gil, Salter, and then Herc as a free pick up servant for the release of NA version. So I only use Cu and Koji till now
gilles saber is actually pretty insane and IMO should be on the list... yes his np may not be the best but his 3 skill is SOOOOOO strong now its actually crazy like a 40% buster buff for 5 turns and at level 10 has a 5 turn cooldown so infinite spam and he also has madness enhancement ex so another 12% buster bonuses his new damage is pretty insane now
Robin Hood and Hassan were my bois at the beginning. I was also a big fan of Leonidas because he could be a damage magnet while I was charging their NPs and gathering stars.
I can confirm that Lancer Cu and Hans are indeed very worth investing in. I've been able to spam Hans' NP a lot in combination with my Tamamo so if you can get her from a banner or a support Tamamo, you're gonna have a good time. In addition to the servants featured in the videos, I also recommend St. George for being a tanky Rider and his taunt and heal skills, dude really helped out during the first challenge quest event so I can't recommend him enough. EDIT: I forgot to mention David! His second skill provides a party wide heal AND evade and damn let me tell ya it's great the more you level it up. Anybody reading this comment that's new to the game, don't forget to level up your servants' skills cause they only get better the higher the level :)
I think you should add david into the archer class. He is good since he had *guaranteed* teamwide evade (which make it somewhat similar to Merlin's 2nd skill) as well as a charisma, and he also had pretty high attack stat and a strong offensive np. What's more we can receive him for free after clearing Okeanos.
I've never really put Mashu at the front of my party... But she was one of the first servants I maxed out, and I'm glad I did. She's always at the back of my party and has managed to save my ass a number of times.
I've heard that Robin Hood's NP deals the most damage when it comes to Berserkers, so I'm planning on leveling him up along with Cú Chulainn, Shishou, Cu Alter, Jack with a Waver support for the Shuten/Ibaraki event. If I was still a new player, I'd have watched this video but (god after all the banners I've gotten a pretty solid SSRs) I don't need them now but still they're very well informative and helpful for all players who's starting out FGO. They don't need an SSR to get a strong Servant from the start but not all SSRs are great and sometimes the quartz-free servants are better to use ^^
Robin hood isnt a berserker he is an Archer and well yes his NP hits hard but so does Eurayle's, in fact if the enemy is male Eurayle ends up being much much better like Gawain is a huge problem without her

cu basically carried me at start. then i did more research and invested into hans. was investing into ceasar til i got rama. still waiting on my first 5 star servant soon :
Nice video. Wish I could say I used my 3*s more, but I rerolled and had an account that started with Waver, Jeanne and Herc and added Altera at Nero Fest; that got me through all of the early game content without any issues (especially Jeanne). As a result, most of my 3* and below aside from a few exceptions are not leveled beyond the point needed for their interludes.
My first summoned set gave me Saber Alter Altria Pendragon which help in farming early on but AOE NP damage attacker was not enough for bosses. So I relied more on a single NP attack dealer for bosses. As I use Mash Kyrielight often to help my servants to suvive more. She more often underrated well Mash is my favorite support servant even for today. Well let me give my most often used 1 to 3 servants I often used even for today are the following Saber - Gaius Julius Caesar, well following after Saber Alter, my go Saber. Archer - Euryale, my first archer and my favorite one. now I often used her together with Robin Hood and Chloe con Einzbern. Lancer - Cu Chulanin (Prototype) well my go lancer because he deals instant death frequently and the original is my backup. Rider - Ushiwakamaru, I like this servant for she buffs the whole team and a great damage NP attack Caster - Medea, I relied on her more than Anderson. In a battle Medea is able to spam her NP attack turn after turn. Assassin - Hassan of Serenity, In no doubt the Cursed Arm is a great servant but Serenity is my go to assassin. Berserker - Lu Bu Fengxian, While Kiyohime is the Berserker I often use. Lu Bu is my go to Berserker. After gaining 4 and 5 star servants, I keep these servants in rotation in my game.
I love Medusa too, I grailed her to Gold on my NA Acc, however I guess the three star who kept saving me back then was Cu. I grailed the doggo to Gold too. Anyway, your vids are pretty dope, keep it up! ;)
I'm watching this cause I'm fairly new to the game, and I'm glad robin hood is so good ^^ I invested in him heavily after my brother told me that he grailed his, and he's been doing great on my team and the ones that carried me were honestly Amadeus Cursed Arm and Cu Chulain. I only just recently got my first hans though so I might run him with amadeus on assassin heavy missions
Skipping a Kei video? Not gonna happen :P Mash is awesome, don't neglect your best kohai. The 0 cost, the taunt+invincible is really helpful. Now that Rashomon's out, I tested her, and she can tank Ibaraki's NP or the hand crits if necessary. (I just wish she stopped eating stars) I really need to get started leveling my Robin. So many Archers to level... Cú is a beast, we can all agree on it. Should I 10/10/10 him? 9/9/9 is not a problem but I'm running low on Lores. Does he worth it? I'd say yes (he also carried my first 1M hp Ibaraki when I didn't have any DMG boost CE), but I'd love some outside advice on the matter. I leveled CA Hassan for the Accel Zero event and boi it was so worth it. He's awesome, and his NP can one.shot Chimeras and other high hp beasts quite often with Shiki's Mystic Eyes. Medusa is pretty good too, especially after strenghtening. I'm lacking a really powerful Rider, so she and Anne/Mary are my main choices, and they can get the job done. Also she's a sweetheart that's always a good thing ;) Andersen, I see why some people might like him, but for me he's just too...clunky I guess? The RNG doesn't help either. I'd rather just grab a friend support Waver. Then again I've only maxed his level not long ago (thanks to Da Vinci event), and really low on Caster gems (Tamamo, Iri, Haloween Liz arrrgh), so he's postponed for now. Ceasar's got nice buffs, currently leveling him. Might switch Arthuria Lily with him when the time comes. Lu Bu, leveling him too. Got Lancelot though, but he's a wave-clearer not a boss killer. With Lu Bu I might be able to make a general team for the "gem dailies". Overall they are all really good Servants. I'd like to take this time to thank the devs for making low-star characters this awesome and not just fillers like many other gacha games out there.
mostly watched this out of nostalga to some oldies that got me started, Lu Bu, Medusa and cursed arm, but in a way, it could be argued that these are the servants to grail to make them more competitive with natural 4 or 5 star servants as they can still that useful.
I haven't been playing very long prolly a month or more I rerolled until I got Heracles & I also happened to get Siegfried & Frankenstein but I don't use Sig Or Frankenstein much really , I used the Fate Zero Event to help me max ascend Heracles & hes kinda carried me so far the other heroes I've been using are Mash, Medea , David & Henry Jekyll & Hyde. I didn't get Robin Hood or Hans until recently so their NP strength isn't upped cuz only 1 copy of each I have gotten a few copies of Lu Bu but I have Heracles so wasn't sure about building more than one berserker . I am fairly new to the game I don't know much about it aside from watching vids on youtube or looking up the tier list on gamepress . I only really have one team built atm & im sure the units in my team aren't all that cohesive lol Heracles, Mash , Medea , Henry Jekyll & Hyde , & David oh & I like to use Waver or J'alter as support when I can . Anyways long @ss ramble aside lol. I always appreciate vids like the one you posted here :D helps me figure out who to work on & build since summoning rates in this game are so low kinda gotta work with what you get as a f2p player ^.^ TYTY
I always say, judge a servant by what they can do, not their rarity. Some 3 stars are fracking amazing! David has been an MVP in JP for me and that'll never change, and Mashu definitely is one of the best support servants in the game. I cannot wait until she becomes busted as a 4 star.
My favorite 3*/2* Servants are 1- Cu, 2- Medusa (Medusa contrary to popular belief... is that just like Shiki Assassin, She’s great for both Quick and Art teams and she actually does a lot more damage with her Arts Cards, 3- Medea and 4- Hans.
For me, the 3* servant that helped me out the most was proto cu. I didn't actually get normal cu for 3 months because I started saving quartz early on, but proto cu still had protection from arrows and that helped out a ton early on. Medea also helped me out a ton too.
the thing is Cu is very bad battle compatibility against Amakusa shirou.. cause Amakusa's NP basically Removes all of the buffs first including evade and guts before dealing damage.. which can be a pain if fighting against him.. but sure is WOrth if you are using him
Hans is basically a mini waiver Should be one of the first servants you should definitely max out if at all possible. Mash will get stronger throughout the story in the camalot arc she gives an attack buff with her np Medea is also good Robin hood is just a tactical nuke. Cu having his high survivability will come in cluth alot

I have all of these except Cu Chulainn. Its like he's purposely avoiding me or something Maybe its the Emiyas and Caster Gil. Also, for some reason, my Medusa is a crit magnet for the wrong reasons and I've stopped using her for karma's sake. There's something very wrong if she keeps regularly dying earlier than Kiyohime...
little knowledge: in chinese server(more advance than us server， slower than japan)LuBu still got the highest NP damage of all servents(any star) when apply all posslble buff.
Hans is more of a Budget CasterGil since they both help with Damage, Crit Gen, Def Boost and both have a Def down although CasterGil actually uses it on his Enemies not at himself(lol) CastGil doesn't have a Crit Dmg Buff but he does have that Arts Card Buff.
when i started the servants that help me the most were and still are most of the time mains in my parties are Medea, Medusa, Cu who i have lvl 90 and Sakaki.
In my opinion in the creent 2020 meta i the only changes that i would make to this list is replace robin hood with billy the kid i find he is much more consistant thatn robbin bc the poison has a chance to wiff,on bosses witch are most likely servants (that have magic resist of somesort Exept beserkers)that if my poison wiffed i would just have robbin there sitting with max np,where billy you just need a good star gen like what you said cursed arm your friends jack tr or atalante etc.
Mash is good but the problem with her on the NA server is simply that she's capped at level 60 for the time being so doing higher level stuff is just completely over her head. Which is such a shame because she's an awesome character with an awesome character design but gonna have to wait a while till she's properly viable.
also I would consider Free event servants as part of this video since they can also be gotten for free like rider kintoki will replace ushi so fast in the near future and cursed arm isnt actually that great of an assassin since theres barely any good assassins so the best are actually the free ones like summer scathach and shiki who is probably the best 4* assassin in the game for free just my opinion
Your right, welfare servants are amazing and some are the best in the game. They are Limited time in a way which is why I didn't want to talk about them as new players won't have access to them till a rerun.
Yes he is a good crit generator ill give you that but creating crit teams is very hard for a f2p to work correctly. Probably the easiest comps to make for F2P are arts and buster teams. Only 1 ssr is sort of needed (tamamo and merlin to be specific) in those teams and it can even go to the hardest bosses. The problem with crit is that its all RNG for your damage. And when compared to shiki who was given out in February she is much better in those teams but i guess if you wanted 3* only and really wanted an assassin either pick him or kojirou

Robin Hood is my boy... love to use him with Jeanne+ Waver Combo.... Waiting for Bedivere to come out in the Saber class...probably i'm going to LV him to 90 And do not forget Shakespeare, he works really good with every Buster NP servant
Hans doesn't need grails. What's way more important on him is getting all of his skills to 10. The atk boost is completely wasted and the higher HP are negligible when you can already max fou his HP and most decent support CEs give a good chunk of HP already. Mine has 10k+ HP at just level 65 with max Fous and a 2030 CE. He was my first 10 / 10 / 10 servant.
Vivi Orunitia that's great. But I would love to have a friend hans to combine with tamano and waver for vlad teams to keep him alive. I have my hans max level but I will work on him after tamano and Helena. My waver is already mac level fou and skill so I'm good with him for noe
When you're using him in a team with either Waver or Tamamo you shouldn't have any problems with keeping him alive unless you are either fighting riders or berserkers. His own NP heals 1000 HP per turn for 3 turns and Tamamo's gives you another 1000 per cast. Waver's defense buff and the one Hans gets from his NP significantly reduce all damage, so he shouldn't die unless he gets hit from a NP and is oneshot. Very few people grail Hans because you just don't get much out of it. Everything Hans provides comes from his skills and NP, not his stats.

I'm lucky as I have all of these servants they have saved my ass many times I have no 5 star servants but all of these good 3 stars though I wish I could get at least one 5 star thats not the gorgan assassin.
Back when I first got the game I had pretty good luck, my first summon gave me carmilla and saber Lilly... I know saner Lilly was guaranteed at one point but what I'm saying is I never used three stars 😂 but now I use mash and Gilgamesh child when there is an event and I need ce's
Ummm I may have been running Emiya and Carmilla on all my battles for the longest time... after I figured out I could diversify my team more, I used Cu (Proto) a lot, yep newbie mistakes all around lol.
Both have entirely different purposes but can generate good amount of stars. Hassan has better survivability and focuses on himself being able to boost his own crit damage and has a ST NP. Fuuma offers more utility and support to your team with his debuffs and targetable evasion. Plus he as a AOE NP with potential stunning. It's up to your playstyle. I personally prefer Fuuma for his diverse utility as I enjoy that more. While others like Hassan more for being more offensively straightforward.
yeah her new costume code made me want to try it out so bad but once i saw its new skills i immediately swapped it out. i mean, since when did mash need a buster card buff?

As much as I want to use *YEA BOI* as a 3* Archer. David is just too good for a support, his toolkit is even better than most 4* supports out there. Gotta love dem Charisma and Harp of Healing.
KeiKollections just checked. HP too low. As of now I can handle over a million HP. Camelot won't be a problem for me. At what point are the bosses gonna have over million HP? I am trying to get my lvl 100 hercules bond CE so I am ready for the dude with 1.5 million hp.
Bruh this is what I don't like about gacha games, instantly make you op, I was trying to get only 1 servant and go into battle but clearly that didnt work and I had to have an op support servant.
I got tamamo in a ten roll, i got 2 wavers in the same 10 roll and i got 2 iskandar just with the tickets from the event of Fate/Zero but i saved 120 SQ for jalter and I don't get anything :'c

Hey Kei Robin Hood's NP doesn't have a poison dot that is old pre nerf info =x If you take a look in game it just has the +damage

In addition to the servants featured in the videos, I also recommend St. George for being a tanky Rider and his taunt and heal skills, dude really helped out during the first challenge quest event so I can't recommend him enough.
EDIT: I forgot to mention David! His second skill provides a party wide heal AND evade and damn let me tell ya it's great the more you level it up.
Anybody reading this comment that's new to the game, don't forget to level up your servants' skills cause they only get better the higher the level :)
I think you should add david into the archer class. He is good since he had *guaranteed* teamwide evade (which make it somewhat similar to Merlin's 2nd skill) as well as a charisma, and he also had pretty high attack stat and a strong offensive np. What's more we can receive him for free after clearing Okeanos.
I've never really put Mashu at the front of my party... But she was one of the first servants I maxed out, and I'm glad I did. She's always at the back of my party and has managed to save my ass a number of times.

I've heard that Robin Hood's NP deals the most damage when it comes to Berserkers, so I'm planning on leveling him up along with Cú Chulainn, Shishou, Cu Alter, Jack with a Waver support for the Shuten/Ibaraki event.
If I was still a new player, I'd have watched this video but (god after all the banners I've gotten a pretty solid SSRs) I don't need them now but still they're very well informative and helpful for all players who's starting out FGO.
They don't need an SSR to get a strong Servant from the start but not all SSRs are great and sometimes the quartz-free servants are better to use ^^
Robin hood isnt a berserker he is an Archer and well yes his NP hits hard but so does Eurayle's, in fact if the enemy is male Eurayle ends up being much much better like Gawain is a huge problem without her

Nice video. Wish I could say I used my 3*s more, but I rerolled and had an account that started with Waver, Jeanne and Herc and added Altera at Nero Fest; that got me through all of the early game content without any issues (especially Jeanne). As a result, most of my 3* and below aside from a few exceptions are not leveled beyond the point needed for their interludes.
My first summoned set gave me Saber Alter Altria Pendragon which help in farming early on but AOE NP damage attacker was not enough for bosses. So I relied more on a single NP attack dealer for bosses. As I use Mash Kyrielight often to help my servants to suvive more. She more often underrated well Mash is my favorite support servant even for today. Well let me give my most often used 1 to 3 servants I often used even for today are the following
Saber - Gaius Julius Caesar, well following after Saber Alter, my go Saber.
Archer - Euryale, my first archer and my favorite one. now I often used her together with Robin Hood and Chloe con Einzbern.
Lancer - Cu Chulanin (Prototype) well my go lancer because he deals instant death frequently and the original is my backup.
Rider - Ushiwakamaru, I like this servant for she buffs the whole team and a great damage NP attack
Caster - Medea, I relied on her more than Anderson. In a battle Medea is able to spam her NP attack turn after turn.
Assassin - Hassan of Serenity, In no doubt the Cursed Arm is a great servant but Serenity is my go to assassin.
Berserker - Lu Bu Fengxian, While Kiyohime is the Berserker I often use. Lu Bu is my go to Berserker.
After gaining 4 and 5 star servants, I keep these servants in rotation in my game.
I love Medusa too, I grailed her to Gold on my NA Acc, however I guess the three star who kept saving me back then was Cu. I grailed the doggo to Gold too. Anyway, your vids are pretty dope, keep it up! ;)
I'm watching this cause I'm fairly new to the game, and I'm glad robin hood is so good ^^ I invested in him heavily after my brother told me that he grailed his, and he's been doing great on my team
and the ones that carried me were honestly Amadeus Cursed Arm and Cu Chulain. I only just recently got my first hans though so I might run him with amadeus on assassin heavy missions

Mash is awesome, don't neglect your best kohai. The 0 cost, the taunt+invincible is really helpful. Now that Rashomon's out, I tested her, and she can tank Ibaraki's NP or the hand crits if necessary. (I just wish she stopped eating stars)
I really need to get started leveling my Robin. So many Archers to level...
Cú is a beast, we can all agree on it. Should I 10/10/10 him? 9/9/9 is not a problem but I'm running low on Lores. Does he worth it? I'd say yes (he also carried my first 1M hp Ibaraki when I didn't have any DMG boost CE), but I'd love some outside advice on the matter.
I leveled CA Hassan for the Accel Zero event and boi it was so worth it. He's awesome, and his NP can one.shot Chimeras and other high hp beasts quite often with Shiki's Mystic Eyes.
Medusa is pretty good too, especially after strenghtening. I'm lacking a really powerful Rider, so she and Anne/Mary are my main choices, and they can get the job done. Also she's a sweetheart that's always a good thing ;)
Andersen, I see why some people might like him, but for me he's just too...clunky I guess? The RNG doesn't help either. I'd rather just grab a friend support Waver. Then again I've only maxed his level not long ago (thanks to Da Vinci event), and really low on Caster gems (Tamamo, Iri, Haloween Liz arrrgh), so he's postponed for now.
Ceasar's got nice buffs, currently leveling him. Might switch Arthuria Lily with him when the time comes.
Lu Bu, leveling him too. Got Lancelot though, but he's a wave-clearer not a boss killer. With Lu Bu I might be able to make a general team for the "gem dailies".
Overall they are all really good Servants. I'd like to take this time to thank the devs for making low-star characters this awesome and not just fillers like many other gacha games out there.
mostly watched this out of nostalga to some oldies that got me started, Lu Bu, Medusa and cursed arm, but in a way, it could be argued that these are the servants to grail to make them more competitive with natural 4 or 5 star servants as they can still that useful.
I haven't been playing very long prolly a month or more I rerolled until I got Heracles & I also happened to get Siegfried & Frankenstein but I don't use Sig Or Frankenstein much really , I used the Fate Zero Event to help me max ascend Heracles & hes kinda carried me so far the other heroes I've been using are Mash, Medea , David & Henry Jekyll & Hyde. I didn't get Robin Hood or Hans until recently so their NP strength isn't upped cuz only 1 copy of each I have gotten a few copies of Lu Bu but I have Heracles so wasn't sure about building more than one berserker . I am fairly new to the game I don't know much about it aside from watching vids on youtube or looking up the tier list on gamepress . I only really have one team built atm & im sure the units in my team aren't all that cohesive lol Heracles, Mash , Medea , Henry Jekyll & Hyde , & David oh & I like to use Waver or J'alter as support when I can .
Anyways long @ss ramble aside lol. I always appreciate vids like the one you posted here :D helps me figure out who to work on & build since summoning rates in this game are so low kinda gotta work with what you get as a f2p player ^.^

I always say, judge a servant by what they can do, not their rarity.
Some 3 stars are fracking amazing! David has been an MVP in JP for me and that'll never change, and Mashu definitely is one of the best support servants in the game. I cannot wait until she becomes busted as a 4 star.
Cu and mashu saved me a lot. But hans helped some as well
Cu + The Wandering Tales of Shana-oh = Nuke 💣, he's working seamlessly for me with this setup, insanely useful for Rashomon grinding imo
My favorite 3*/2* Servants are 1- Cu, 2- Medusa (Medusa contrary to popular belief... is that just like Shiki Assassin, She’s great for both Quick and Art teams and she actually does a lot more damage with her Arts Cards, 3- Medea and 4- Hans.
For me, the 3* servant that helped me out the most was proto cu. I didn't actually get normal cu for 3 months because I started saving quartz early on, but proto cu still had protection from arrows and that helped out a ton early on. Medea also helped me out a ton too.
oh so proto cu is useful i was hesitant to lvl him up cause i dont have cu yet..
Yeah protection from arrows is still protection from arrows, not to mention his beastslayer skill stays somewhat useful throughout the game
the thing is Cu is very bad battle compatibility against Amakusa shirou.. cause Amakusa's NP basically Removes all of the buffs first including evade and guts before dealing damage.. which can be a pain if fighting against him.. but sure is WOrth if you are using him
Absolutely, Amakusa in general is a strong servant. his ruler class as defense, and as you said this NP which is the reason why he's deadly.
Hans is basically a mini waiver
Should be one of the first servants you should definitely max out if at all possible.
Mash will get stronger throughout the story in the camalot arc she gives an attack buff with her np
Medea is also good
Robin hood is just a tactical nuke.
Cu having his high survivability will come in cluth alot

The servants that helped and still helped me when I started playing (at this year mind you) is mash, emiya, and cuchulain
little knowledge: in chinese server(more advance than us server， slower than japan)LuBu still got the highest NP damage of
all servents(any star) when apply all posslble buff.
Hans is more of a Budget CasterGil since they both help with Damage, Crit Gen, Def Boost and both have a Def down although CasterGil actually uses it on his Enemies not at himself(lol) CastGil doesn't have a Crit Dmg Buff but he does have that Arts Card Buff.
when i started the servants that help me the most were and still are most of the time mains in my parties are Medea, Medusa, Cu who i have lvl 90 and Sakaki.
I can also suggest the 1 star Arash! He is an Archer and his NP (stella) deals alot of damage! (must try)
In my opinion in the creent 2020 meta i the only changes that i would make to this list is replace robin hood with billy the kid i find he is much more consistant thatn robbin bc the poison has a chance to wiff,on bosses witch are most likely servants (that have magic resist of somesort Exept beserkers)that if my poison wiffed i would just have robbin there sitting with max np,where billy you just need a good star gen like what you said cursed arm your friends jack tr or atalante etc.

Mash is good but the problem with her on the NA server is simply that she's capped at level 60 for the time being so doing higher level stuff is just completely over her head. Which is such a shame because she's an awesome character with an awesome character design but gonna have to wait a while till she's properly viable.
also I would consider Free event servants as part of this video since they can also be gotten for free like rider kintoki will replace ushi so fast in the near future and cursed arm isnt actually that great of an assassin since theres barely any good assassins so the best are actually the free ones like summer scathach and shiki who is probably the best 4* assassin in the game for free just my opinion
Your right, welfare servants are amazing and some are the best in the game. They are Limited time in a way which is why I didn't want to talk about them as new players won't have access to them till a rerun.
@Razer and@Kei, also don't forget that even In Japan, some events haven't even gotten a rerun yet. For example the Fate Accel Zero Order event.

Yes he is a good crit generator ill give you that but creating crit teams is very hard for a f2p to work correctly. Probably the easiest comps to make for F2P are arts and buster teams. Only 1 ssr is sort of needed (tamamo and merlin to be specific) in those teams and it can even go to the hardest bosses. The problem with crit is that its all RNG for your damage. And when compared to shiki who was given out in February she is much better in those teams but i guess if you wanted 3* only and really wanted an assassin either pick him or kojirou

Hans doesn't need grails. What's way more important on him is getting all of his skills to 10. The atk boost is completely wasted and the higher HP are negligible when you can already max fou his HP and most decent support CEs give a good chunk of HP already. Mine has 10k+ HP at just level 65 with max Fous and a 2030 CE. He was my first 10 / 10 / 10 servant.
Vivi Orunitia that's great. But I would love to have a friend hans to combine with tamano and waver for vlad teams to keep him alive. I have my hans max level but I will work on him after tamano and Helena. My waver is already mac level fou and skill so I'm good with him for noe
When you're using him in a team with either Waver or Tamamo you shouldn't have any problems with keeping him alive unless you are either fighting riders or berserkers. His own NP heals 1000 HP per turn for 3 turns and Tamamo's gives you another 1000 per cast. Waver's defense buff and the one Hans gets from his NP significantly reduce all damage, so he shouldn't die unless he gets hit from a NP and is oneshot. Very few people grail Hans because you just don't get much out of it. Everything Hans provides comes from his skills and NP, not his stats.
david and ushi i think would be a better recomendation, both do good good damage and excels at support( expecially david)

I'm lucky as I have all of these servants they have saved my ass many times I have no 5 star servants but all of these good 3 stars though I wish I could get at least one 5 star thats not the gorgan assassin.

Ummm I may have been running Emiya and Carmilla on all my battles for the longest time... after I figured out I could diversify my team more, I used Cu (Proto) a lot, yep newbie mistakes all around lol.

Both have entirely different purposes but can generate good amount of stars. Hassan has better survivability and focuses on himself being able to boost his own crit damage and has a ST NP. Fuuma offers more utility and support to your team with his debuffs and targetable evasion. Plus he as a AOE NP with potential stunning.
It's up to your playstyle. I personally prefer Fuuma for his diverse utility as I enjoy that more. While others like Hassan more for being more offensively straightforward.

Yes, all can be summoned on FP banner. 3 stars can also be summoned with saint quartz & 2 stars/lower only through FP.

As much as I want to use *YEA BOI* as a 3* Archer. David is just too good for a support, his toolkit is even better than most 4* supports out there. Gotta love dem Charisma and Harp of Healing.

KeiKollections just checked. HP too low. As of now I can handle over a million HP. Camelot won't be a problem for me. At what point are the bosses gonna have over million HP? I am trying to get my lvl 100 hercules bond CE so I am ready for the dude with 1.5 million hp.

I got tamamo in a ten roll, i got 2 wavers in the same 10 roll and i got 2 iskandar just with the tickets from the event of Fate/Zero but i saved 120 SQ for jalter and I don't get anything :'c
