Wondering how to fix rhomboid muscle pain? These are the best exercises and stretches to help you out! Your rhomboid muscles help connect the shoulder blades to the ribcage and spine, and they can be a HUGE source of pain and tension. Tight rhomboid muscles can also lead to upper back pain, shoulder pain, or arm pain. In this short yoga class, we will activate, stretch, and strengthen all the right muscle groups to help you relieve pain in the entire upper back and rhomboid area. No props are needed for this all-levels at home yoga class.

This relieved pain for me today, like something was pinched on one side of my spinal cord, a burning, and it stretched and strengthened an area that will likely have less future pain if I get it, and keep it, strong. This video is a god send. I look forward to doing these a lot more. They feel good and are interesting. I'm a flow artist whose arms are in the air while holding something kinda heavy for long periods of time, and even moving in that extended range of motion, so everything I can do to strengthen this specific area helps me move better and be stronger as well as makes me healthier. Oh my goodness gracious thank you so so much!!!! :) My ma found this one before me and it’s actually crazy how much better this one is for my myofascial pain!! A lot of exercises flare up my back because it’s mostly all shoulder blade related knots but my obliques and lower back get brutal too so for this to work all of it and only flare it a very minimal amount (and because I pushed it at that) is beyond amazing! You’re saving my back far more than 6 months of the gym has for sure!!! :D

I've done many upper back stretch/yoga videos but this has to be the best I've found. This was my first time doing this video and each stretch attacked my problem area. I'll definitely try my best to return daily but I have high hopes that this will help me

Can you create a video or some videos for the mid back? I mean the area of the back that includes and goes from the bottom of the rib cage to the top of the hips. Nobody seems to do this and it's the part of the back which carries a lot of the strain from sitting even when your back is supported. Thanks!

Hi Joelle! Do you have a routine for stretching and strengthening a winged scapula, or a suggestion on what to combine this with? I’ve tried the rhomboid one and it helps the middle of my back but not the serratus anteriro or the pecs. Thanks for everything you do!

Hi Joelle, I often have pains in the front part of my shoulder (rotator cuff) due to a lot of lifting. Are there any specific practice for it? I’ve done this video and it feels nice too. Thank you 🙏

Is it healthy to do this a few times a day? I have a rhomboid strain and this is massively helping however I don’t want to overdo it :)
Good question! It'll obviously depend on your body and how you feel, and I'm glad to hear it's helping a lot! Hii is there any video which can relief sprain back mussels while doing balls. My right side back mussels have so much pain lower side. Is this will work?
