By far the best honest bass knowledge you can find anywhere.. I've been following for over a year now and haven't missed a video, appreciate you guys, thanks for all the great videos!
"BEST" fishing channel on TH-cam!! Thank you seriously for all the tricks, knowledge and you two are just two humble passionate fishing guys that enjoy sharing knowledge that is REAL and not promoting etc. I've been a sub for a long time, I let EVERY ad play through in support. Please ad a SPONSOR button cause I wanna sponsor your channel! Big love Matt and Tim, thanks again. Tim thanks for your service to the community, that local PD is lucky to have you on board!
Tim you should have known as soon as Matt said "mind if I go first?" That you were just along for the ride like the rest of us! Awesome video guys...although it kinda hurts watching some of my favorite baits get put out for everyone to see
I've been bass fishing for 39 years and I learn something from you both in practically every video. Highest level of content on the 'Net. Big thank you from Lake Travis, TX
Man guys I love the channel, and have for years.. 3 videos a week is amazing. I just hope you guys don't get burnt out on the whole process. I know there is a ton of work going into this channel.
Best content out there. Super intellectual guys that seem down to earth. Best fishing channel on TH-cam no B.S. camera angles or cinematic views just legit information. Love it.
I like when you fellas sync up on describing the action @ 2:35 ^_^ .. Thanks for all time/effort you both put in. I can't tell you how many times I've watched one of your videos after a tough day and realized I was doing something completely wrong.
Matt get well soon glad to see you and your pops survived a terrible accident and event. Prayers for you and your family 🙏🙏. Keep up the good work young man!
I’ve been subbed since the California swim jig videos, you all have always been great about being honest and spreading knowledge. Easily my favorite channel, keep it up guys!
Matt I enjoy your enthusiasm and you just have a knack for chat. Tim your the man! Laid back and I'm sure full of knowledge and sharp on the water. Would enjoy fishing with you. Don't think my smallies here in Lake Champlain would eat many of these but really enjoy all your vids even if they don't nessisarily apply to me. Have FUN out there
Great video guys. U just took most of the guess work out summer time swimbaiting. Lots of guys are out there grinding, now they have a awesome starting point to getting bit on big baits in the summer months.
I love your guys advice man more simple and not so intense little easier for us learning still and like you guys said in the top water bait video your doing something different
The BBZ-1 works great at very slow speeds too! Actually Bill Siemantel (who created this lure) uses it very slowly most of the time, with some twitches from time to time, specially near key spots so it does a directional change. He fishes it at the slowest possible speed that the bait will still swim.
Tim you don't get a chance to talk, do you! Lol... Love you guys! y'all both great anglers, keep up the great work. Please come to Virginia and do some videos at Philpot Lake.
Great video! Make a video showing you fishing and catching bass on those swimbaits in summer with tips about where to fish them. About the baits you talked about in this video: bass here are smaller northern strain and not many big bass. My PB is still 5lbs, caught 16 years ago. I prefer to fish the Gantarel Jr. About the 7" Slammer, I've only got 2 bites on it, one in the winter and one in fall... Can't get a bite on it in the summer. My best summer swimbait is by far the S-Waver 168. Almost broke my PB 2 years ago on it in July. The fish followed the bait and did not bite and I had to fish it really really slow with a subtle quick 1/4 reel handle turn followed by a pause to get it to bite, on my 3rd cast...
First I freaking love you guys. Your hilarious. I fish the backwaters of river systems almost exclusively. I do see small schools of shad swim through every once in a while but I still don't have much luck throwing anything moving unless it's a top water. I fish in Cali so I do run into the occasional 6 or 7lber so my fish are definitely big enough to eat some big baits but they just don't seem interested in moving baits most of the time. Maybe upsizing will be enough to get them interested?
Drew Farmer ..... I've spent a fair share of time chasing "backwater" river system bass here in Cali.....not sure where you are but consistent bites for me on moving style baits tend to be white or chartreuse spinnerbaits ( vary blades depending on season / water clarity )and lipless cranks. Hope that helps....Jeff
Great video, guys. Thanks for making such engaging content. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are my favorite days of the week now (well, those and any day I can go fishing). Idea for you: it seems like so many baits can be used in multiple seasons. Are there baits that absolutely shouldn’t be used in each season? For example, from this video, Huddlestons aren’t good for summer. Maybe a video to help me avoid the wrong baits throughout the year. Thanks again!
I got excited...thought that was a Jackal Mikey on the thumbnail. I did a review on the Jackal Mikey jr, which I think is a sleeper lure. By the way love you guys, I did a review on your recommendation on the LV-500, and now we're inseparable!
Awesome timing! I’ve been watching the old swimbait videos and was looking to get new swimbait gear so happy you guys decided to upload this thank you @tacticalbassin
love your videos as always! wish you would have had your buddy talk little more and explain his point of views and opinions. great video though and always excited and appreciate the info.
Lord knows bass do love the bluegill if you’ve ever been catching bluegill and seen a bass coming for your blue gill or straight up takes it that sucker but it’s is a wide fish maybe a crappie stile would be better idk know guys you guys are way ahead of me but I’m getting back into fishing again so this time I’m going to really fish the seasons get out there earlier spring etc like you guys are saying why would I miss the spring run each year living in Northern California near the delta and sac river I’m sure you guys know of the striper run I’m so close yet miss it every year but not the 19 season I’ll be out and this whole year baby
Can you guys do a video on scents? I have heard a lot of talk from other anglers that things like bug spray, sunscreen, smoking, and even marine engine gunk can turn a lunker away. Need to know what you guys think and how to combat that.
Where does the S waver fit into the bigger picture i.e. when, where etc. Since it was not mentioned in this video? Very cool and informative video. Thanks.
Guys, great content as usual. I'm just getting started in the swimbait game. I'm wondering the length of rod I should be using. I invested in a 9" slammer and want to really get that going, but need some guidance. Your links to the gear are amazing and super helpful, but am wondering a good all around length on the rods. Thanks for being my first stop on MWF for new videos that have stepped my game WAY up this season. Cheers.
I wanna fish kieteck over brush and in timber is a jig head alot better then a belly weight to where you would risk hanging up alot. Or is belly weight as good. I don't have much experience doing this but want to learn it. Thanks a million.
Now everyone is going to throw swimbaits year round. Stinks for us hardcore swimbait anglers that have been doing it for years but what can you do. Anyways awesome video guys. Would be cool to fish with you.
Who else thinks Matt and Tim should start a podcast?
McClovinFishing imagine them on a podcast with Gerald Swindle? 😂
Ufcguru Official LOL oh god, that’ll have to be rated PG-13 at least
Yes
Poor Tim, you can tell he knows how passionate Matt is about BIG BAIT fishing. As always 👌👌
Hahaha Tim is like, what else is new..😂
We need a summer swimbait guide for 2022!! Lol
By far the best honest bass knowledge you can find anywhere.. I've been following for over a year now and haven't missed a video, appreciate you guys, thanks for all the great videos!

Hands down the best educational bass fishing channel on TH-cam 👍
Every so often you guy shoot a video that truly makes me realize exactly why I'm addicted to this channel.
I can't believe how much content you guys are able to cover in such a short time frame, it's amazing. THANK YOU once again!
The swimbait game is something I am trying to get into. These videos really help build confidence knowing the baits work before you go to the water.
Tim you should have known as soon as Matt said "mind if I go first?" That you were just along for the ride like the rest of us! Awesome video guys...although it kinda hurts watching some of my favorite baits get put out for everyone to see

Thanks Matt and Tim for the support always.
I’ve been subbed since the California swim jig videos, you all have always been great about being honest and spreading knowledge. Easily my favorite channel, keep it up guys!
Tim is the best bait handler i have ever seen
Matt I enjoy your enthusiasm and you just have a knack for chat. Tim your the man! Laid back and I'm sure full of knowledge and sharp on the water. Would enjoy fishing with you. Scott Bunning a good angler will always be learning.
The ospreys and bald eagles love the BBZ trout in the summer .

Need more than Father's Day now! Great video guys!

Lol! Tim’s being such a good sport!
Before I fish my hudd I’d love for a video of what knot y’all tie fishing for y’alls braid to mono leaders on these big Swimbaits

What would be the best rod to throwing the bull shad? And the Bull gill?
Hope you and your Dad are feeling OK. Thinking about you guys.
great video guys, hope matt and his dad are doing alright!
Have you considered trying the F5 custom swimbait rods? By far my favorite rods to throw. The craftsmanship is second to none and they cast so smooth.
please do a vid on leaders vs straight fluro for big baits, glide baits, and weedless big soft plastics!
Great video, guys. Thanks for making such engaging content. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are my favorite days of the week now (well, those and any day I can go fishing). Great video as always. You guys should have WAY more subscribers than you do. Best informative fishing channel on youtube by far.
Pretty funny video. I’m giving the big Keitechs a try this year. Fishing deep
Informative as always, Tim as the wingman on this one 🤛🏼
Got the 7inch osprey in bluegill and caught a 4lber in a pond!
Awesome timing! I’ve been watching the old swimbait videos and was looking to get new swimbait gear so happy you guys decided to upload this thank you @tacticalbassin
You guys have freakishly good timing with these vids...🤔
Tim: keeps noticing fish busting the surface and his anxiety is kicking in. 😂

No Magdraft? I figured you guys would’ve been huge fans of that bait
Can you guys do a video on scents? I have heard a lot of talk from other anglers that things like bug spray, sunscreen, smoking, and even marine engine gunk can turn a lunker away. Need to know what you guys think and how to combat that.
There's some good "that's what she said" material here
TIM AND MATT WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THE NEW CURADO DC 150??????
Great content as always. Would love to fish with you guys down the road!
Where does the S waver fit into the bigger picture i.e. when, where etc. Since it was not mentioned in this video? Very cool and informative video. Thanks.
Awesome information.
That's Tim's new nickname now?😆
Great video as always. I would like to know your guys thoughts on DC reels in a future video. God speed

Cheers.
@TacticalBassin have you guys ever fished Castaic Lake?
I wanna fish kieteck over brush and in timber is a jig head alot better then a belly weight to where you would risk hanging up alot. Or is belly weight as good. I don't have much experience doing this but want to learn it. Thanks a million.
Now everyone is going to throw swimbaits year round. Stinks for us hardcore swimbait anglers that have been doing it for years but what can you do. Anyways awesome video guys. Would be cool to fish with you.

Where do you guys throw the Ganteral in the summer time?
Still has some secret baits they try and keep to themselves, i like that lol
Dobyns Fury 795 or 806 for huddleston 68?
Perhaps you covered it but what knot do you use to connect the braid to your mono/Floro? Thank you
I was wondering what the clear red box with the swimbaits is sold at
awesome vid guys on the talon which one weighs the most for ledge fishing?
What hooks and split rings are good replacements on the bull shad
