Great video mate. Price certainly depends on which outskirts of Bangkok you live in, how far you are from the city center, main roads etc. In my area (far western suburb) this house would go for around 10-12k. But if you rent an older, non furnished house in a non gated community there are deals to be found for 5-9k. My first house was a 4 story plus parking and rooftop for 5k, but it was a bit of a shit hole hahaha.

Cheap for your western viewers mate. There are far better deals in outskirts of Bangkok IMO. This is a decent house Drew, price is alrightish, but nothing to write home about I believe. Glad you found what suits your needs and budget 👍
Yeah, dam thats knocked me down a peg or two. I was proud of myself when I rented this spot haha! We searched for a while and either got not available or wasn't in community with security. Thanks for watching mate appreciate it!

As for myself, renting a little bigger house than yours, 3 beds 2 baht, 2 car slots, but much older though by 15 years I guess. But it's 5 minutes drive from Don Muang Airport and it's 6000thb. The price hasn't changed in 7-8 years, still paying the same...
Yeah, I didn't have the time to drive around the condo sale went through and needed a spot for a year :) That sounds like a cracking deal :)
@@lifeinisan standard price for this area, older village, no security though which I looooove.... Hate being locked behind shutters or 4m tall sliding metal gates. Think of my words when the next pLandemic hits and nobody gets in nor out... ;)

you can get a 10 year old 1 bedroom apartment 20mins from the centre of Sydney for this price... except that's 16000thb per week not per month 😂. whats wrong drew, you seem to have found youtube enlightenment.
