Nice to here you're back in Isan mate. Like the sounds of taking some new steps in life and sounds like your time in your Isan bubble will do you good mate
new subscriber… from another SEA youtuber, but I’m based out of Taiwan. visited Thailand with my fam for the first time in Dec/Jan and loved it. Can’t wait to get back there. sounds like you’re making a good, and healthy transition with biz and life
I lived in Isan for ~2 years during covid and it absolutely drove me insane, I could not wait to leave by the end. I thought I must be the only young foreigner living/working in Isan until I found this channel
Great video. I had been in Thailand last year from January to June went back to the UK seeking work which has been difficult. About to make the same decision as you move back to Thailand. Have the house, car and as you say you need much to live on. I like your insight of not seeing the ordinary things in Thailand Thank you.
Thank you for watching michael, I have certainly been around the block in my mind on these matters, certainly been a hypocrite but what I discussed in the video is certainly the best way forward for myself. I wish you good look with your journey and getting back to Thailand. If you are in a similar situation like myself then should be easy enough. All best mate!
You no need to pay for a rent, cost of living is very low, rice from the fields if you have your own land, no need to share roads, buses, no long queues, no air pollution, no crowds, fresh air..etc.. what else do you need..your area has everything fundamental, for me it’s brilliant and I love it!!…
Hey Drew. I know that your business is recruiting for the uk. I live in Sydney and the govt are making a push for tradespeople in construction here. Is that something you could incorporate into what you doing except referring them onto Aust. Prob just another headache lol
Thanks for the suggestion david, maybe in the future ill look at these types of things again but for now im certainly having a break and looking to move in a different direction! Appreciate you watching
Excellent video Drew. Looking forward to more content. Good luck with the new lifestyle.I would be interested in passive income ideas like str rentals, real etsate, perhaps even the thai stock market.
Good to see a new vid Drew. I agree, don't stress yourself out and remember, new doors open all the time so don't stress if one door is closing now. The only constant in life is change, right. Just roll with it brother, you will come out better on the other side.
Where you not recruiting staff from abroad to the uk,now that they have cut down and migrants going to uk also with there dependents,is this not why you have stopped
We was indeed but thats still possible and happening. The care industry rules are different to a lot of other sectors when it comes to sponsorship (correct with the dependents) This is still going to carry on in my Bangkok office ran by the manger. Im sure this will fade out in the next year or two though which I will let happen. I will talk about it in more depth when I can as my business always had another side to it in the UK :)
Drew I’m a long time recruiter and look into/I’d consider a switch to senior end perm recruitment, fees are large and overhead is small. 3-5 deals a year and you’re likely very happy.

Smart man Drew money is not everything and if its stressful making it forget it best wishes again from new Zealand 🇳🇿❤️

Hey Drew
Welcome home mate, back to paradise in Thailand, Isaan. 👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thank you Jamie! Appreciate it
Someone once told me "Work to live not live to work." It put things into perspective for me .
If I had to work again, I would not last 10 minutes without being reported to HR!🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
@@lifeinisan Dude? Tik Tok? Really??? Personally, I will not support that communist country. Be careful on that app, you are being spied on!

Thank you for the advice!
Is your wife going to work from home, I only ask because she started a new job not long ago. No need to answer if you don't want to.
Yeah work from home and have days at the Udon Thani branch with the odd trip to Bangkok :)
