- We want to give you a Thailand villa tour. Koh Samui is a great choice for a holiday but also as a fantastic place to live as a Thailand expat. When it comes to property rentals Koh Samui has a great selection of villa rentals available to suit all tastes and budgets.
We decided to live in Koh Samui for two months. We really wanted somewhere with an outdoor space and a private swimming pool. This villa in Koh Samui really was a great find and I would highly recommend this property and the property rentals company who helped us find this villa.

Thanks! The internet was very fast download and upload were over 150mbps as it was 5g. There was no extra charge for WiFi.
This is gonna sound ridiculous but I'm SERIOUSLY considering the move from the UK to Thailand. My only concern is bugs... 😂🤦♂️ how common are spiders, hornets and things like that?

Hello. I am also scared of bugs but I think they are no bigger a problem than the UK or anywhere else. If you stay on a small island in the jungle then there will be more but in places like Bangkok, Koh Samui and Phuket etc, I think there's not much of an issue. Go for it. ;-)

how good is the internet on this island?
Like anywhere it depends on where you are staying. I lived there for two months and had no issues with the wifi in this property. I also have a 4g package with Finn Mobile. Many people use AIS which has great coverage.
wow, big scammer, thief have, ower price all have 50-60% only idiot pay this. normal same villas can rent 7000-15000 B/month ewery city.
I'd love to find a place like this for less than 15,000 thb. How about being helpful and sharing information about how to find places for that price instead of calling people idiots. scammers and thieves. I've searched and never seen any 2 bedroomed villas for the prices you mentioned.

Snakes is everywhere .im too scared to living green area in Thailand 🐍
Last year there was a King Cobra in our living room. I was terrified.

@@toddinthemiddle I think if you stay in a hotel it's unlikely. We were in a villa all on one level and very close to a lot of trees. The day that the snake got in many of the trees had been cut.

It was the price for the full villa. It might have changed now as it was during a very quiet period when there were little to no tourists.

Nice spot good price! That is our plan a pool villa. We are looking at the Bang Tao area in Phuket or Koh Samui. Which area do you think is better to live in Koh Samui Bophut or Maenam? Your cooking joke was cute.
Hi Ron. I like both Bophut and Maenam. I can't say I prefer one area more than the other to be honest. We stayed in Maenam but the next we visit Koh Samui we'd gladly live / stay in Bophut. Have you spent more time in Koh Samui or Phuket in the past? We are more familiar with Phuket but love both islands.

It's hard to say Ron. I lived in Phuket for four years so got to know it very well but was ready to leave to explore somewhere else. I discovered more of Koh Samui recently so have a new love for it.

@mattivirta what are you talking about? Nobody is scamming anyone here. We simply made a video about our stay there three years ago during the pandemic. I'd gladly stay somewhere of that standard again if we could find it for the same price. Prices are much higher now. You seem to think differently. I'd love to know where your information is from. Maybe 10-20 years ago.
