THANK YOU. I was looking for a hotel with bigger then normal refrigerator and microwave since i will be in bangkok for 20 days. This is awesome and what i need. You are da man !
I hope for that price, it's got double or even triple glazed windows to protect from the noise of the streets below, especially the sky train. I know my sister in law has a nice condo called M Phyathai, but the aluminium and its windows are paper thin, and the sky train is extremely noisy even with windows closed
You should not see this as a condo, it is more like a hotel with all the amenities included. Then the price and the size with location is not so bad. Off course you can find cheaper in other parts of the city.
stood here few days, great rooms, quiet busy pool area with tourists and gym could be better equipped, sauna is amazing! try to get the room on the high floors facing sukhumvit road :)
If my wife and I had seen this video earlier, we would have stayed here for the whole month we stayed in Bangkok in Jan/Feb this year. We stayed in a one-bedroom hotel not too far from this place and i think we paid more, and the place wasn't so nice as this one. Our hotel included breakfast but except for convenience's sake who would want to eat the same thing for a month. We will definitely stay here next time and thank you very much for this video.
Cheaper and more space than a luxury hotel -but without the pampering (no turn down service🙂). Probably perfect if you are in town for a month and demand privacy and a secluded high standard. Not for me -I prefer bustling 5 Star Hotels (but might in the future get an apartment I could call home?). However, very interesting concept. Cheers.
Stayed here late 2022 shortly after it opened. Nice rooms and location, but the air-con was loud (even on the lowest setting), and the washer/dyer doesn't dry the clothes completely. Only to a damp state and you then need to hang them across furniture in front of the windows. Although the rooms are older, Ascott Sathorn is a better and cheaper option. Whisper quiet air-con, proper washer/dryer, and easy transport access.
It's funny that the same company would use different type of washing/dryer machines. This is actually very valuable feedback for them. Maybe it has to do with the developer that constructs the building, using different supliers
Nice really like this service apartment , how does it compare to the kimpton ? I was considering the kimpton maa Lai as we need to in both Sathon and Thong lot areas and from google map kimpton sit between both . .
Thonglor is a Japanese neighborhood, I know this entire area very very well, my wife has a place Soi 1 near the hospital area, Thonglor isn't that far away.
Yes, as mentioned in the video, the Executive Studio starts from 85,000 monthly. If you are interested, feel free to sent us an e-mail at info@sukhumvithomes.com so I can forward it to the Ascott Sales Team.
@@kelbale Hi, can’t remember the post at present. You are right, too much for apartment there - maybe I thought it was an entire condo structure? 16000 sounds more in alignment - lol, you are more correct about price in Canada and US !
This is not a condo for rich people but not for poor people either. You will find that most foreigners have an average monthly rental spending range of 10k to 60k per month. That reflects poor to lower middle class people. It's normal to see that. I view people who stay at this place as within the middle class level or theh are rich people who just want to stay in Bangkok on a budget. Dont forget Bangkok is bigger and more luxurious than New York City. So the area of this place has the right to demand the prices. It isnt expensive and also is not super cheap. Definitely not for backpackers or foreign retirees on a more limited budget. I have a few places in the city that are 450k per month and they are much different. This place is very nice for the location, cost, convenience, and overall experience. Especially for a foreigner with that budget range.
Yes, you are 100% right. And there are also places for 5,000 THB and for 350,000 THB. It all depends where you want to live. Just like in the Rest of the World.
The prices depend on the length of the stay and the season when you want to stay. So yes, it's quite difficult to mention any prices as they can change day to day.
@@ontheroad5555 yes indeed. But he did not mention the the corporate to me. And by the way, I actually mentioned the regular starting prices in the video.
Thank you for this. I don’t know how I’ve missed it as I follow your channel and really enjoy your content I usually stay in a serviced apartment in Thonglor but curious to see what the rates are at the Ascott Thanks again for the tour. Will be in touch via email 😊
I love ASR managed serviced apartments! They have great locations and the staff are always A++.
Just went to the Japanese restaurant at the bottom last night! Definitely recommend! Food and service was outstanding!
Wow super nice but well beyond a normal budget perhaps. Must be nice for those with the means to stay there.
Very nice. Thanks for showing us around Jeroen 😃👍🏼
Looks like a nice building. Its like living in a hotel, but also you have a real kitchen.
THANK YOU. I was looking for a hotel with bigger then normal refrigerator and microwave since i will be in bangkok for 20 days. This is awesome and what i need. You are da man !
The views from the rooms are good. Thanks for sharing.

This is REALLY valuable information; love this episode!
85,000 THB is $2,300 USD for a studio. That's NYC pricing, at that point no thanks, no matter how good all the amenities are.
Agree too expensive...
Ridiculous prices. Thank you for saving my time from watching this.

@@Nightbird. Missed out on a nice video. I can not afford it, but don't mind to have a look at what other people can afford.

This looks like a really nice place. I like the clean simple modern look (well I am Swedish).
Amazing hotel

Typical prices appear to be $200 per night currently, you could also consider staying at the InterCon.
Beautiful apartments, and interesting you can rent for long or shortly period! 🙏
Thank you so much.i did not know such accomodation existed😮
what is the corporate rate for a month roughly?
Nice but my personal price range would be between 25-35k Baht per month 😮

This is very useful information. Service apartments is the way to go for longer-term stays.
Thank you for the nice video!
My pleasure Koen!!
Hoi Jeroen, wat een waanzinnige uitzicht. vraagje hoeveel is de huur van twee kamer app?
How many of these 'high end ' condos you advertise have you rented or sold? ...just that there aren't any testimonials on your website...
The Testimonials is a New part of the website. Thank you for worrying about our company, but don't worry. We are fine :-)
Many nice amenities like 24 hour gym, and cleaning bur way way way overpriced! Even for a high budget. I immediately crossed their place off my list.
We are coming for a few weeks Jan 2025 and need a realtor to show us Condos for rent around Bangkok and surrounding areas

Especially for a foreigner with that budget range.
When you deal with the Europeans developer be sure you will pay more then when you deal with local agencies.
Sorry to say, but that is just not true. Owners will not handle different prices for different agencies. That would be bad for business.
@@globaltravelmate Maybe wrong

How much for one month rent?
Studio is 160 000 baht 😬
Nice, but 85K per month is too high.
Wow, a hotel named Kinky. What more could a healthy expat want??? 😊
Kinki is the name of the Japanese restaurant on the lower floor, not the name of the condo building.
Need wireless mic
How difficult it is to mention prices
The prices depend on the length of the stay and the season when you want to stay. So yes, it's quite difficult to mention any prices as they can change day to day.

85,000 THB = over 2350 USD. Seems like it should be half that price for the apartment seen here.

HOW MUCH?! HOW MUCH?! DUH.
from 85k Baht ? 160k Baht ? Sorry, That's out of a reach for a normal person. Only for rich people.

160,000 baht a month for a studio. LOL
Better come with girl friend at those prices
