Just purchased PAA CaD, Bay Rum Lime, and more. Holy cow their scents are delightful. Their new CK6 formula is way better than their old stuff. Awesome.
Some of my most favorite soaps and scents in my collection are from P.A.A! Dapper Doc, Solstice, Phoenix Lights, King R., Tombstone, Boomtown Bay Rum.. too many to pick just one favorite, they’re all fantastic and there’s no other soap that lathers like CK-6! It is unique in the wetshaverse
I’ve only been wet shaving for about ten months and I have purchased five PAA shave soaps and after shaves and one of their brushes. Everything I purchased is among the best that I have. I am extremely satisfied with PAA
Love that you said "grow the pie"! As a growing industry the only ones loosing may be the cartridge razor makers but even they could benefit as most are also in the DE blade game (P&G). I encourage everyone I know to at least try a safety razor - it may not be for everyone but more often than not it's at least a rewarding activity when you have the time for it.
Congrats - you're the winner of the Weekly T-Shirt give-away! Please contact us at help@razoremporium.com with your address and size and we will get it shipped out right away! Thanks everyone! Stay tuned next week for another giveaway! - Razor Emporium Team
PAA has some pretty interesting stuff. Doug has also been trying to get the perfect bay rum scent and revolutionize bay rum as we know it, and has a number of offerings that come out of the legendary Atomic Age Bay Rum profile. I would recommend that people here try "Bay Gum," one of the newest additions to the PAA lineup from their 2024 Arizona Shavers Meet-Up which is a mix of Atomic Age Bay Rum and Juicy Fruit gum and really brings you back to your childhood. I swear, I got a TON of different gum profiles when I first smelled the soap: Juicy Fruit, Bazooka, and Dubble Bubble, all with the powdery sugar coat that covers each piece of gum before you put it in your mouth. It is a lovely scent that is a fun a whimsical addition to your shave den. 😊
If you only try one thing from PAA, I would recommend their Star Jelly aftershave. I love the feel of it, it’s quick drying, and has a long lasting scent. When I want to try a new scent, I go for their Star Jelly. And Doug, if you’re reading this….I’m hoping you come back out with Immortal Peach. I’ve recently fallen in love with Peach scents, so I knew I would have to try yours.
Hey Doug how come PAA doesn’t offer replacement pucks of your soaps like Stirling does so that I can reuse the original container instead of having to buy a new one each time?
We just don’t have enough time and adding them would really gum up the works. With pucks you need molds, then u need to cut them, then u need to wash the molds and every component involved, etc. takes less time and clean up to fill a jar. This allows us to keep our costs down, save valuable time, offer more product options, not have to hire a new employee or two, etc. loads of reasons why we don’t. We originally did pucks so we know the ins and outs. In short, we have a different model than others! Obviously this is an over simplification but I think this will help you understand why from our perspective! Shave On!!!
Really great products I have spent both time and money promoting but only readily available CONUS when folk around the world are crying for them. They need to ramp up production or slow down marketing, but cutting supply to dealers in both Europe and Africa that are trying to help them is very challenging?
Always enjoy your videos. I saw some concerning stuff about PAA in the r/Wetshaving subreddit. Are you familiar with their accusations? Any truth to what they are saying?
I don't know the history or claims for every brand. We have carried their products for years and our customers seem to really enjoy their scents and performance. Past that, I'm not interested in getting into the drama.
PAA has some very good soaps but I wish they would offer replacement pucks of their soaps like Stirling does thereby being able to reuse the original container instead of having to buy a new one each time.
Never used any of their products, if they made up sampler pack of soaps, I would try! Hate buy a big tin of soap, only to find I hate, and fine I blew dollars.
@@RichardAMenkprobably not, they are very time consuming. My strategy is, if u already know the performance of the soap then it’s just a matter of scent, and we offer all our scents as aftershave samples! 😉
Tried a variety of PAA's products but it's their aftershaves I find the best in the business, especially the bay rum ones

Hey Matt. Nice showcasing of PAA products. The selection of their products that you do have is a good representation.
I appreciate that!
I love the King R Emporium shave soap. I really enjoy the scent.

Great video Matt. Love PAA products. have a great week. 👍
PAA is my "go to" for shave supplies.
Really enjoy PAA and their nostalgic scents. Some great originals too of course!

Got a few in my own and picked up a set of Casi Perfecto at the AZ meetup. Good products and soaps are almost as good as the Razor Emporium soaps.
Great spotlight Matt!
I will certainly have to try their products. I feel like there is a whole world out there for me to experiment with.
Aw shucks, thanks for the kind word bud! Next time I stop in for a visit we should roll the cameras! 😜

Sounds good!
Matt, you should apply Vicco brand Turmeric Cream after shave to soften, moisturize and heal your skin. Made in India.
Any chance we’ll see sample sizes ?
Phoenix has samples on their homepage!

I hear ya. We are always waiting on orders too
Not many places in the uk sell paa,and if they do,theres not a lot of choice.
Is the King R Emporium shave soap not available ?
If it's not online we are waiting for a delivery
Not offered online.

@RazorEmporium Thanks Matt. I value your opinion as someone who knows the wet shaving community very well.
PAA has some very good soaps but I wish they would offer replacement pucks of their soaps like Stirling does thereby being able to reuse the original container instead of having to buy a new one each time.
I understand that, but the soap container is not a whole lot of the price you are paying when you buy soap.
😅I am big fan of paa shaving soaps
PLEASE bring back I'd Lather Be Shaving!
Boardwalk Barbershop best barbershop scent on the market
So many scents and products and so little time and money🤨
I wish they sold their Amber Aerolite brush with a badger knot
Razor Emporium might be able to put a badger not in the PAA handle
They produce cruelty free products as far as I know of
Never used any of their products, if they made up sampler pack of soaps, I would try! Hate buy a big tin of soap, only to find I hate, and fine I blew dollars.
Click “samples” in our menu brother! 😉
Great review of a very good company #longislandshaving just did a review on the Chocolate Bourbon soap and a/s.
Would have bought more from them but their shipping and handling is ridiculously priced.
Blame the usps brother, that’s not us at all! 😢
@@DouglasSmythe any chance of you guys doing sample size soaps for more scents?
