I found it bit od that there are no iron banner perks on the gun, like iron grip etc.
Really dumb, yeah. Especially since they’re enhanced now. I feel like Bungo is afraid of Hand cannons besides 180’s.
No doubt, they really butchered the release of this. They should have made it's stats only slightly worse than Igneous. Igneous and Sturm blow every other 120 out of the water statistically. This has PI, which is the only thing it has going for it. Oh well, I don't really use 120's anymore anyway but I was hoping this would have decent stats for a longer range option on certain maps over my Rose in the kinetic slot.
I also think it’s just dumb bring it back with stats that are woeful in comparison to the best 120s.

@@chrisgeo6713 You’re a scrub with scrub mentality. You don’t even want PvE players to have fun. They just needed to nerf the mines themselves, maybe a small hit to the ability regeneration. But Bungo listens to scrubs like you and nuke stuff while letting other broken things run free. You’re not bright and you don’t learn. Everytime they hit popular Hunter exotics, we get worse stuff immediately. Like these endless threadings, clones, and now overpowered smokes.

I’m definitely gonna try it, got my first rolls last night which are pretty good (PI+Adagio w/ Enlightened Action). I think it’ll pair well with the Fighting Lion on closer ranged maps where my hip fire Prophet is too unwieldy.
Igneous real has ruined any normally stated 120s for us hasn't it?
Yup apart from steady hand every other 120 is just worse.

And since Bungo only looks at data in a very autistic manner. They won’t help 120’s, thanks to one.
Sturm used to keep up until Precision Instrument became neccessary to 2h1B. Sturm has the stats to hang with Igneous if you are comfortable with three taps. I don't see how Steady Hand hangs with IH or Sturm as far as stats go and it doesn't have PI. It can get high stability but Iron Grip guts reload speed and it has horrible handling. The only way to get to 85 range on it is with Sureshot that leaves you with 10 handling.

I agree with your point about igneous being the primere 120, but I do run an elecap true prophecy when running an arc super from time to time. The 50 handling makes the gun feel much better.
Crimils feels like a relic of the past. The only juice it had was when kc 2 tapped at all resilience.
Plus the best shotgun in the game is in the kinetic slot.

I like it because its the most satisfying and best looking hand cannons from hakke
I mean it looks almost identical to the RSH-12 which is a .50 bottom cylinder revolver
I'm really enjoying it like I used to at the beginning of D2. This is the only 120 that ever felt good to me. I got an enlightened action/ precision instrument roll and it's the first weapon I've actually masterworked this expansion

Sweet, 120's are great in pvp if you can master them. They kill slow but they are the best peekshooting weapons in the game. That 2h1b with PI makes it like the old 120's. I don't know if this will replace Sturm as my kinetic slot 120, but I got a moving target/PI roll with 87 range I'm going to take for a spin.

I got a moving target/OS roll in my first few games and enhanced it right away.
Tried using, but Kovostov kills me before I can fire the third shot. Feels like an AR meta currently

I feel the pain in the lobbies and the constant meta. I was hoping I could go into Iron Banner this week and have fun using guns I haven't used in awhile. Nope. Ended up going back to my meta loadouts just so I could compete properly.
Probably never gonna use this in pvp but that roll sally gives at like rank 8 is pretty fun to use in pve and hits like a truck with precision instrument
I believe your review is accurate overall. I tried a few different rolls and they were just ok, but then I came across moving target/precision instrument and it felt surprisingly good. I enhanced it and I think I’ll be using it for quite some time despite already having a few godly Igneous Hammers. 😁

If zen moment was in the first column to pair with the other damage perks would definitely raise the tier of this weopon
After stepping away for a while, i'm having a ton of fun in IB!
I feel both dagger and claws had the perk refresh but not the stat update to match what most weapons have now.
Im fine with the stats, since i use Zen/Adagio Combined action anyways. the dmg loop with that one is more fun and effective for me than just igneous stats, with this having adagio as ell, i love it for kinetic slot
Don’t sleep on air trigger. Basically outlaw if you reload on a hop. It takes some getting used to but can be fun.
I feel like im using this the same reason as everyone else and that is we want to use igneous and our newly obtained shayuras wrath so here we are

I got one with arrowhead brake, accurized, moving target and precision instrument enhanced and I haven't taken it off since I got it I've already got 90 some kills on since last night lol. I love it but that's just me
This is the roll. Moving target with targeting adjuster just makes this thing feel pretty damn sticky and very easy to use. May not be a stat monster like Igneous, but igneous also can't get this specific roll combo.
That's good, I want fluted, accurized, range mastework with Slideways and PI. I have a roll with smallbore, accurized, range masterwork, moving target and PI now but I want to bump up the handling. That would be 80 range, 38 stab, 48 handling enhanced. Those are very decent numbers for a 120.
I'm more excited about a 540 with head seeker kill clip
Bungie to allow us to use the Adept mods on every gun, it make no sense that you can't use then, even more now that they removed some mods.
Iv played with every reasonable roll and i feel that enlightened action/explosive payload has gotten me most consistent multikills and 3-taps in general. Also i have hammer forged, ricochet, rapid hit, eots, stability mw igneous with adept range on it and crimils feels alot better. Also i prefer the sights and found verdict over conditional, but thats just my personal opinion ✌🏻

Outlaw precision. IB has been fun playing but hope for good graces on which rollover your on but more solid matches more often
If you wanna use a 120 hand cannon in the kinetic slot just use Round Robin with ether Killing Wind or Keep Away and Kill Clip and you will be set Round Robin is a better 120 that is craftable.
Finally, someone who understands that 120’s aren’t doing great. It’s just Igneous.
really thought it was nice imo. i got moving target and precision instrument and was having a blast. i also just enjoy hakke hand cannons
Hey TV could you do a state of titans video where u explain the how/why people are saying titans are lagging behind and possible show us a pve and pvp build or two to shake up the monotony of just punching. Titan main here and im just bored of punching things i want to switch to hunter so bad but ive spent way too much time on titan to just ditch it.

It just can't hold a candle to Round Robin for that slot. It just falls way too behind enhanced keep away.
I wonder if the deterministic recoil is like iggy’s, where 100 is best.
I really like Slideways/Zen moment. Having 70 stability with 70 range does duel pretty well. However, it doesnt hold a candle to an Adept Igneous.
A great alternative to those who still uses Duality though!

Slideways feels kinda mandatory, just to bump up that Stability. Still looking, but doing fine with Enlightened, Precision Inst. Nothing can top Iggy, but it's still worth having a Precision Inst. 120 on the kinetic slot.
I wish IB weapons competed with Trials

I think it's purpose is to give a descent 120 for those that don't have an igneous or at least a good one. In that role it's probably ok but I have my iggy so no go for me

Yes, I have thousands of PvP kills on my old True Prophecy that I had been holding for years. The rare HC metas were better. Though they did way too many changes at once back then. 110’s didn’t need to change rpms, they just needed that range cap to come off.

Can we get some modes that dont have heavy ammo in them. I feel like some people crutch it so much it makes up half there score/kills. I also would like a mode like cod had with a vote system to control meta using sheep.
Would have been much more useful to tell us how you felt it compared to other **PRIMARY** 120 kinetic hand cannons.
I'm guessing that the Ace of Spades typically wipes the floor with this.
As a noobish player, that hand cannon with a properly matched game is on fire...
Slideways, precision instrument is all you need with max range.
So hard to find it with max range…. I get a 3 out of 5 and nothing else. It’s rough using a 120 with 60-65 range stat. 😭
@rob3497 my first crimil daggers drop was godroll. 5 out of 5. Just RNG luck blessed. Now I'm farming the godrroll pulse, no luck so far and getting broke.

I don’t know how or why, but I hit more headshots with this hc than any other hc I’ve ever used, and I have all the godroll hc’s you can think of. To the point where I would exclaim out loud after hitting 7-8 crits in a row going from target to target.

Yeah this review is scary accurate. Its funny u finally said the elephant in the room which is 120’s as a whole aren’t that great iggy just rises above and beyond and makes it more than viable. Thats y when the change to crit body happened with 120’s my first thought was “ok iggy will be fine but big ooff on every other one” there kick and stats r just mid and asking for 3 perfect shots with allll the crazy stuff hitting ur screen is a lot to ask when u have guns like autos that r just ease of use machines. I mean heck I notice at times asking my self “y the f$&@ do I even suffer with iggy?” I could just use rose or an auto and do better” idk it seems like even iggy somtimes isnt fast enough for the current meta imo.
My summing up the conclusion: Some of us are dumb. Those of us that aren't, expect more from our PVP weapon.
Great if you don't have a decent precision instrument Igneous, otherwise it's a solid pass.
“I’m not big on Air Trigger” …what does that even mean? I suggest watching coolguy’s break down of the gun with this perk to see how you can make it work as a column 1 perk (better than Outlaw which you seem perfectly fine with)
I know what air trigger does. And no I'm still not big on it. Getting faster reload when I hop is not what I prioritize. I want things that are actively contributing to my duel. A hop reload is not enough to make me want to use my perk slot on it when Slideways will reload some of the mag for me AND give me a plus 20 stability buff on a weapon type that's known for kicking like a mule. Stability also helps with flinch resistance. So no, Coolguy and I politely disagree on this one. I still don't think it's a top shelf perk even if it can surpass Outlaw in terms of reload. Reloading isn't my problem with this weapon anyway.
Sbmm be like: my team got mercied and everyone on my team had .6 or less while I sat on a 2.6, the enemy team had 3.0-15.0’s…. Yeah I’m ascendant, but I can’t play the game for you guys, I can only steamroll those that are in my way, when the homies rotate bad the whole game 🤷♂️ it’s no longer a skill issue, it’s an intelligence issue. Get smart because get gud only gets you so far.
Or Bungie could match you with players at your level and bad players are spared having to go through games like you described

I swear. I do good, I drop about 20 kills on average but I get teamates that barely get more than 10, I even try to cap. I just keep losing. But still even losing I get engram drops so I'm not THAT upset about it. I just would likecto win, xd

Crimil's Dagger is pretty amazing, but I say that mostly because I don't have the Igneous Hammer. So Crimil's is better than nothing by far.

Crucible is sadly not fun with friends anymore. Playing with one or two friends is impossible, it matches us against the best of the best and it’s been changed to be a competitive experience, not a fun one. 6 stacking is an option I suppose but when you mercy every single game it’s incredibly boring.
I shit you not I have a 2.7 kda with a single digit win rate. It’s possible that I climbed to double digits but I sincerely doubt it. It’s impossible to win unless we’re stacked. Every game goes to time because no one wants to fight. Just camping corners and whatnot. Everyone is playing hunter so even if you do get in a gunfight with someone they just use shadow clone jutsu and run away.
I enjoy playing crucible (usually) even if I’m losing, but with any friends it become a miserable experience because we go from having a jolly good time running strikes or dungeons to having max level bots swarm our crucible games.
Over the past few days, I've found the opposite. I played with some friends (one a sweat), and we downed the lobby. I had my all-time record of 22 kills one game (to put into perspective where I'm at) and topped the leader board.
This is from someone who is ALWAYS 2nd to last on the leader board, whereas my sweat friend is always top. We go in as 3, with my daughter, but she is usually bottom on this game.
It's was for sweats since the first day
At 10 resilience it won't two tap with adigo and actually ups ttk. Just saying
What I don't get is how they justify it having lower stats just because it isn't a trials weapon. Yeah Trials is more "difficult" but IB is more rare and there is no adept variants of their guns, they should at least have comparable stats in base variants.
The mm saying it’s trying to not match up players of widely disparate skill is such a lie, played in more mercy matches the past 2 days than I have the last month. Anyways, this version of crimil’s feels weirdly clunky, maybe it’s just how the gun is cus of how square it looks.
