@@TDTProductions sir I disagree with silence and squall and arc strider. In pve they are pretty equal especially with the right exotic. HOWEVER, pvp while in arc strider you can hold block and walk into a tornado and turn it against people. I won a trials match this way because people don’t know and sit there getting frozen by their own tornado

Y’know I just noticed
- Hunters have 11 supers w/2 being extra variations
- Warlocks have 10 w/1 extra variant
- Titans have 9
Gambit day is nearly upon us.
Yep they all used to have 3 variations with each super and then once 3.0 came out titans went down to 6 while the others had 7 they ruined fist of havoc and now they ruined bubble but essentially gave titans another solar variation in the form of a exotic armor piece which I think they could just get rid of pyrogale and make it a variant of the solar subclass
Make that 4, 5 are the same thing with a different color and heavy attack.
yknow i never actually noticed that if you count variants as 1 super all the classes have the same amount of supers
i mean it makes perfect sense but i'm still kinda surprised

And titans finally got that invitation to eat at the 3 super table.
So i got bored
I did the average score for each class
S-tier being 6 points, A-tier being 5, and so on
Divide the total points by the # of supers
Warlocks had a score of 4.50
Hunters had a score of 4.09
And titans had a score of 3.66
Just wanted to share
My takeaway from this is how many supers have 'storm' in their name
- Needlestorm
- Gathering Storm
- Storm's Edge
- Stormtrance
No titan super has storm in their name
The community needs to realize that a Warlock running Song of Flame with the right aspects on Solar, with No Hesitation hip-firing for restoration, gives you a better healing and damage boost than Well does. Bungie did just nerf Restoration x2 to x1 though on Physic though so...hmm.
Not to mention letting solar and kinetic weapon apply scorch.
It lets gjallarhorn on its own set off ignitions with 2 rockets. When you factor in the rest of a team running Apex Predator your team easily sets off ignitions on cool down.
Also the damage resistance for the super in PvE let you face tank most anything in the game which lets you make very clutch plays when doing content like GMs.
I wish they would have left physics at rest 2x to have a incentive to use the gun and give other classes the ability to get rest 2x besides warlock
Song of flame lasts half as long and doesn't give hp regen, if you use no hesitation to make up for this than you're doing 0 dmg. Well of radiance even after the nerf is really really good
@@richardwenner755 wow the new support super that's built for more offensive play is worse at keeping people alive because outside of the DR that's not the point. Who could have guessed? Bungie nerfed well because it has been the best in slot for warlocks for raids and other endgame content because it gave insane survivability and the best damage buff built into a subclass (without considering the broken ass exotics it had that deserved nerfs because they were obviously unbalanced) that you can give to everyone without giving up 1 guardians damage like you do with banner block. On top of that it's STILL better than bubble in 99% of scenarios. The point is well was nerfed to give other support supers room to breathe without absolute murdering it. It's just not absolutely free in pve and pvp anymore which it should have never been that free in the first place. But guess what, you'll still be bringing multiple warlocks because a well and a song of flame together can put in work in different scenarios and together but now warlocks without a spine don't have to feel like they're forced to switch to well when the rest of the raid team refuses to accept that they aren't pulling their own weight. Well still being usable doesn't mean Song of flame isn't useful during a dps phase.

The fact that thunder crash got moved to a 9min super while hunters get 3 of their own t crash that tracks and hits around cover is insane.

@@onyxserenity5190 lol ok, because your class totally doesn't have free overshields, the only non headshot requiring one shot kill melee in pvp, the only melee that can easily take people out of supers, the most annoying class ability that effectively shuts down a lane with a simple exotic allows the titan to shoot or snipe without any risk to themselves, you guys have essentially shatterdive with less setup on arc, numerous ways to become extremely hard to kill on arc with that shield, void with your other shield and stasis with that one exotic.
You guys may suck in PvE mostly but you're still the most oppressive pain in the ass loaded with bs cheese class to face in PvP, hunters have plenty of damage sure but they lack a wide range of defensive options, meaning that as a warlock most of what a hunter does can be countered with a healing rift, assuming the rift can be deployed in the 3-5 business days worth of animation it takes before the hunter does something crazy.

The simple exotic i assume you are talking about citans ramparts which got nerfed hella hard multiple seasons ago by making the barrier get destroyed faster? Also if you are getting suppressed by the titans void shield charge in pvp while after you popped ur super tbh thats a skill issue

as a titan main I think you were too kind to our supers, twilight is good-ish but not good enough to be S-tier that tracking just does whatever the hell it wants too sometimes so I would say A
bladefurry is good for applicable bosses but at the end of the day its still another melee super
Glacial Quake is too situational to be really used and most people hate it in PvP.
Thunder crash is nothing without that exotic, same for burning maul expect it usually gets more use, both really are also situational which sucks.
Bubble was publicly executed and sentinel shield with ursa furiosa takes a man out of the damage phase, the trade off for damage is not worth it sadly.
fist of havoc is indeed a steaming pile of shite, hammer of sol is good for survivability and a great ranged super for PvP.
we still need more one and dones for titan, give all classes a 2nd stasis and strand super and make sure titans are damage dealers at range, one and done too!

I'm a warlock main but I've always wanted titan to get a nova bomb style stasis super that just forms a massive glacier and hurls it at stuff. Feel like it would check a lot of needed boxes and stick to the titan theme of "everything we do has to show off our muscles" 😂

It's hard to say how to make Stormtrance better. Outside of giving it an insanely fast cooldown, which probably still wouldn't really help. Maybe it should give some kind of buff to your allies? Something with ionic traces and amplify probably.
Edit: Just wanted to add the two cents of my friend group and I, if a super needs an exotic to function (Chaos Reach with Geomags, Thudercrash with Cuirass, ect.) that exotics functionality should just be folded into the base super IMO. The exotic can then be made to do something else.
I say that conduction tines from the helmet should be rolled into the main super and the damage should be increased substantially so that it can easily melt things like stunned champions and majors. Make it more or less the best room clear super in the game.
Give it the same change they did to the Chain Lightning melee a while ago.
While amplified you create a second chain that splits after the first target.
Would let it deal double damage against a single target, which it needs, and then also improve its add clear functionality which is the main job of the super.
Make it do Thurnderlord/Cloudstrike lightning with sustained damage. Done.
Use the chest piece....kill 3 ads and it gives you half the super back and boosts damage with each kill...your welcome
Maybe when you're Amplified, it increases the range of the lightning, how many enemies it can chain from and removes the ramp up needed to hit max damage and just gives it to you outright? Would at least stop you from just holding the attack to keep the damage up when moving from group to group and accelerating how fast the super drains as a result

the bubble changes also made helm of saint 14 loose the void overshield upgrade for the mini bubble and normal making its only synergy useless in any content it even had a use
It really sucks, I love bubble, they made it so bad, they could tie blessing, armor and weapons with different aspects at least; there’s room for play like how they put knock out as a option or sunspots, they could be benefits that are placed with a build so you can play around with it and make helm still blind people and maybe have the old glass house effect of increasing the benefits or length of these effects.

Always loved how needlestorm is the darkness equivalent of slowva, they are both one off explosive supers that launch little guys to attack, just ones a big bomb and the other is a bunch of tiny ones, same with with blade barrage and silence and squall, sentinel sheild and blade fury, and dawnblade and winters wrath, they all basically have the same dna but are changed to represent the difference between light and dark
Something EVERYONE forgets about tether is that killing tethered targets prolongs the duration.
I have a lot of fun with Storms Edge, but I once clowned on a Hunter by literally just jumping over all three charges. I don't know I he was just that bad, or nobody realizes you can do that, but it happened. Never really had a problem facing it. But, your mileage may vary

I always try to jump over it but never had any success. Either I would have to predict it or they just whiff. If you’re a hunter since they have the faster way to get in the air it’ll be easier for them

TDT one more difference between cataclysm and vortex mainly applicable in pve is that cataclysm blocks shots and vortex doesn't, this can come up in some damage phases
Glacial quake is ass in pvp, especially with the recent changes.
After the balance patch to right Beyond Light’s wrongs, it lost a lot of damage resistance and regaining a modicum of that lost damage resistance was relegated to whisper of chains…then the frost armor rework happened now we have one of the lowest DRs in the game unless we use an entire aspect (tectonic harvest) to get frost armor stacks.
The “buffs” to stasis titan were hilariously backwards and nerfed them into oblivion. They need a close look into their kit to fix a lot of the unfair treatment the subclass is getting during broad adjustments…these adjustments are disproportionately destroying the behemoth kit
They looked to the few behemoth mains left, took a golf club, and promptly bashed our knees out.
Its because Bungie doesnt know Behemoth identity. It's a speed class or a tank behemoth like its name? I understand when behemoth launched it was the two, but Bungie nerfed both of those qualities instead of one.

Here is me advocating for blade barrage: It is the fastest burst option for hunter where crit spot is hard to hit, and even when crits are accessible, a full stack star eater BB out damages both celestial and star eater goldie (but lower dps, since you can pre pop celestial) as long as you can hit most of the knifes. It does make it less viable on certain bosses like witness, but it is no slouch in pve.
Also a side note, in GM content where your loadout is locked, star eater BB is a much more versatile option that can both burst champs and clear rooms, as well as giving you high uptime on your super.
I do understand that much of this hinges on star eater, but if goldie is that much worse without celestial, I think this much is at least fair.
Only thing is is that now you have even more reason to run celestial bc of still hunt. There’s j not much reason to run SES BB anymore bc of thst
I understand that still hunt is really strong right now, but it also isn't the optimal option in every situation (bosses with awkward crit spots, and a fire team that doesn't want to run div). Still hunt and celestial being strong doesn't make star eater BB any weaker.
That and the fact that we all know they must be nerfing still hunt very soon as well.

Pretty sure celestial is better now than even star eater blade barrage since it got buffed last season.

Bubble in D tier? I haven't done Trials in a minute but is it really that good in trials still? Would have figured with the demand of Helm of Saint-14 that the super would fall off a cliff and land squarely in E/F tier.
Silence and squall being A tier and getting called the best one and one hunter super in PvP is crazy. The animation is so insanely long and you have barely any DR, making most of its casts result in either a trade or a death before squall can get thrown. I’d rank it top of C tier personally, or you may be able to argue B, but A is crazy

Something I’ve wondered about since its reveal, is whether or not song of flame allows witherhoard to apply infinite scorch, because that would be pretty funny.
Storm's Edge is also crazy in PVE for adds that don't listen and bunch up, and is also pretty solid single target with all 3 spins combined. S-tier
For me, I only use Fists of Havoc for nostalgy and on patrol, just reminds me of the simpler times. When we had only 2 primaries and one heavy.
I will die on the hill that Crown of Tempest + Stormtrance and Trinity Ghoul is goated in PvE. Not as high damage as some other options, but when there’s a lot of ad spawn around said targets I am able to outdamage some of the more frontloaded supers by a mile, all while effectively emptying the room of everything except the soon to die boss. I get that it can be situational, but there’s a LOT of good situations.

Song of Flame with threadling and mortar on rift is insanely fun. Just keep hitting all your abilities in order repeatedly and let the damage commence. The thing was stunning the Tormentor boss in the new strike. It’s hilarious
I got a 7th Column with Song of Flame. I’ve been a Solar Warlock Main since D1 Day 1 and it takes me back to those days. It’s so, so good.
Edit: Run Blink on Prismatic SoF Warlock with Astrocyte Verse, it absolutely shuts down Winters Wrath.
I remember how opressive spectral blades was when it first came out. Crazy how much it's fallen and been forgotten about.-
Silkstrike and Sentinel Shield both deserve A-teir in my opinion. Putting Hammer of Sol beneath Nova Warp seems to be a stretch at best, and evidence of huge mental issues at worst.

I agree with this list except for the placements of Nova Warp and Blade Barrage (the fact they’re in the same tier). I’m a Titan main, so maybe there’s something I’m missing, but from my perspective, Blade Barrage seems like a good damage super in the case another Hunter is already running Gathering Storm. It’s also a good shutdown in pvp, since each blade can instakill on detonation. Nova Warp is crazy in pvp, but it’s on the level of Stormtrance in pve. Mid ad-clear and no damage.

The good thing about blade barrage that in my opinion makes it the best one and done super in the game for pvp at least is just how it works as a big fuck you button to everything and everyone. I know, nova bomb can work like that too, but blade barrage is a super that feels like it's means to say this on a more higher level. Having basically two shots per super, one to kill the enemy super, the other to score 2 or 3 more sneaky kills, or just to blow yourself up on a wall, this super does it with style. I have gotten teamwipes with this, it just feels right (when the projectiles doesn't make a perfect circle around the enemy and literally doesn't hit them)
You can really tell just how much Titans have gotten shafted with this video alone
Spectral Blades are so underrated, i have wiped out entire teams in PVP with it and in PVE as a hunter who focuses on invisibility its got so many uses, great for ad clearing and its invisibility is so useful since it lasts for the whole super if you dont strike. It has allowed me to save so many otherwise dead runs just by always being able to revive everyone.

I still say, one buff is give Spectral Blades is the ability to make final blows explode into volatile light, buff the speed in which you run, maybe even have the dodge have a blink effect just to make it competitively viable for the other supers in PvP, considering a lot of other melee centered supers outclass this one by a long shot
Yesterday I got I finally got a spirit of apotheosis and spirit of the star eater exotic class item now I have the potential too do 1.4 million damage with one super
Storm's Edge (aka Jason Voorhees became Thor) was instantly my favorite super, the moment I unlocked it. That being said, I can't argue it's placement, since as a PVE guy, I barely use it, since Tormentors and enemies that explode exist. Overall, can agree. Looking forward to the next vid 🙃
I feel like roaming supers like spectral blades and fist of havoc should have combos that do certain things. Like have your grenade, melee and class ability be replaced by rising attack like hunters ascension, a slam attack like titans hammer slam, and idk something else. Like if you’re on foh, if you kill enough things you can use your class ability and it will give you an over shield while in the super. Or for blades, you go invisible and while you’re invisible you have increased movement speed.
I would like to note that in order to use Winter's Wrath at peak effectiveness not including exotics you should run the fragment or aspect (can't remember exactly) which spawns trackers after killing frozen targets. Ad clear goes BRRRRRT this way.

Burning maul is honestly crazy in pvp, with sun warrior active the super can last like a full minute if you don't attack.
Missed opportunity to call stormtrance either sith lord or tickle fingers
Stormtrance needs a Celestial Nighthawk equivalent that ends the super with just the lightning blast below you but juices it up to crazy proportions.
Although burning maul does have a higher burst damage with pyrogale it is extremely inconsistent. Most of the time a tcrash will do more damage since you will often miss some of your super with pyrogale. Hammers is more often preferred on a contest raid or even sometimes in a master raid as it gives you a panic button that makes you basically unkillable for a while.

Something I’ve kinda noticed about the ol hammer of sol: it’s kinda ass on prismatic because it lacks basically everything that makes it good on solar. Sunspots namely.
SHHHHHHH! People are already complaining that consecration is the only prismatic built on titan, I don't want pyro to catch a stray because bungie refuses to balance the classes properly and letting exotics be the cherry on top they're supposed to be instead of "fixing" potential problems before they happen. I'm looking at you sunspot nerf after nerf because we were getting an exotic that gives you 2x restoration, a damage buff, and a free sunspot for BAD positioning and having the audacity to take damage. Titan is by far my least played class but man i will never be able to let that shit go. Is there even someone who keeps track of what aspects and fragments get used and why? What exotic weapons and armor get used and why they get picked even if they don't top the charts? I mean fuck fucking cerberus+1 got a rework that noone cared about before we got proper subclass balancing in pve let alone SOME weapon balancing in pvp. cerberus+1? Really? That's the exotic that REALLY needed attention out of everything wrong with the sandbox as a whole right now? Don't get me wrong I'm loving alot of final shape but as someone who's be scorned by the hilarious lack of balance in crucible and how annoying champions were over the years till we got tormentors who just EAT PROJECTILES LIKE A 4 COURSE MEAL I am more than happy just continuing to live in gambit till the sandbox team gets their shit together. Cheese lord Invaders beware, you can bring all the golden guns, one shot body exotics, solo supers, and LMG spam you want, my winterbite and BxR will find you all the same :)

They should really do something about the four supers at the bottom. I know bubble was touched recently, but how about something a little situational?
What if, say, it was able to block something like the attacks from the witness during dps? It would take the damage instead.
It would lead to the team having a safe zone, but at the same time, trading damage for said safety.
Of course, these attacks would break the bubble quick.
Idk, I just want Bubble to have more and better uses in pve. Just some food for thought
I think it's funny that some players think that Astrocyte Verse is a must for running Nova Warp in PvP because they think it can clear the most space in the fastest time. That entirely depends on the situation. I can make it go just as fast or even faster by just using a Glide before Dark Blinking and then letting the momentum carry me. The Dark Blink will cancel the Glide, but it will also blink almost twice as hard/far as opposed to just using it and then if you're going the right way, you can just let momentum carry you and save your super energy instead of using more Dark Blinks or running Astrocyte Verse. Or you can also Glide activate + Dark Blink + Glide activate + Dark Blink + Glide activate + Dark Blink to really get somewhere and close the gap between enemies.
Don't get me wrong. Astrocyte Verse is still good with it. Being able to spam Blinks is nice for evasion, especially if you're not running Devour, though I personally prefer running Devour with Nova Warp.

I really think that for roaming supers to be viable in pve, we need to be able to shoot guns while in them. Song of flame proved this. The combos people are doing with it are insane and very potent. Imagine alternating dawn blade throws with a dragons breath shot, or 1-2 punching in blade fury, or being able to shoot in between getting banner shield for a higher buff than well or bubble

Nova warp above blade barrage should be listed as a cardinal sin
spectral blades are fun in pvp, but require you to spam jump and light attack to actually close the distance, which chews through the duration. If they buff it, it would be cool if they added movement tech like that, then it would be the "skill expression super" instead of shitty arcstaff.
I can see the future, all the titan supers are going to be B and below except the axes.
You should have included wormgod flechette storm. It should count as a super considering it does more than anything on this list
I outdamaged my Hunter friend using Celestial with Glacial Quake in some boss battles during the Final Shape campaign...suffice to say it will probably be my main super on Prism next to Twilight Arsenal
I honestly think FoH belongs in closer to C or more likely B tier.
For PvP, it is one of the best Counter-Supers, being able to shut down almost any other super (other than one-offs and Daybreak/Winter’s Wrath since they fly), and provide a short and quick general “f u” to almost anything. The only drawback is the forced melee range, but it can easily close the gaps with a skilled hand using Thrusters (which auto-gen in super) and melees to dodge.
As for PvE, same thing with the quick burst. However, it has a feature no one remembers. A nice thing it inherited from Subclasses 2.0 is from the Top Tree effect making the lasting AoE deal exponentially more damage from higher heights before slamming. This allows for very strong area control and burst damage on targets such as champions, mini bosses, or even bosses standing still. (Slight PvP note regarding this, the damage boost allowed it to effortlessly annihilate Bubble in its most OP state)
Even now, it still retains these assets, making it a still viable pick, especially with its respectable DR. Only thing it needs to be used by people is the 5% super gains mind-super to extend it from old Bottom Tree. Maybe you could tie it into Juggernaut so people use it, idk, as that feature now would give so much utility, but still be counterable as to not be overpowered like Storm’s Edge/SoF.
Also put Well into B Tier, you get its effects from general gameplay without using it, also allowing you to do other setups. It got nerfed as much as it should’ve been, and it is now respectfully shit, used only by those crutching it who can’t part with it.
Fists of Havoc > Thunder Crash Imo. I have shut down so many Thunder Crashes with Fists of Havoc just by virtue of being able to reach the ground faster. After that, free one hit shoulder charges. Be cool if they made it like song of flame, though. Make the slam a grenade and the shoulder charges melee, but didn't take away our guns.
If I'm running stasis warlock in pve I like using agents scepter to do better dmg to bosses than the super

I’m definitely not advocating that it’s GREAT, but when you’re playing really long content like onslaught I really enjoy running it because of the massive amount of orb generation it has. When I play on salads with my one friend we’re usually spamming our supers at least once a wave when I’m running a quiver, graviton lance, siphon build.
I feel like you underestimate how powerful Chaos Reach is.
Having Geomags is pretty much a requirement for the super I won't argue that. However Chaos Reach is a superb super for both add clear and boss damage.
For those asking why I rate it high for boss damage, ammo efficiency. There are going to be instances where heavy just will not drop. Having Geomag Chaos Reach will let you not only mitigate potential ammo problems, but you still get a solid boss damage option as well.
