- I am in love with this perk. It is making me change a lot of rolls. On Crimil's Dagger it allows me to be more aggressive and negates downsides. Crimil is actually a really good hand cannon when you compare it to everything not named Igneous Hammer. It has better stats than most if not all 120s. In the end, it's all about player feel though. I think it's great.

I REALLY need to stop deleting rolls before watching your content 🤦♂️. You did a video about pulses a while back and I took your advice with chattering bone: replaced keepaway with kill clip. Holy hell. I'm kill-chaining like a psychopath. And I'm not the greatest at PvP. KD 2.3
What about deterministic recoil on crimils!? Like how new Iggy is best at 100

Good shout for Air Trigger, generally speaking Crimil's always had pretty beefy AA to begin with especially for a 120 so it doesn't feel like a total mule even if you're getting that slight reduction. I think the only thing holding back people on this one is the model can take some adjustment if you're used to everything else.

It’s so good that i’m swinging the other way and ignoring its existence because its gonna get nuked. In its current state, bungie is going to annihilate it. Probably by requiring being airborne for a second before it activates. There’s no reason to pick any other reload perk or the whole reload stat, if you get 100 reload by hopping.
No perk survives being this obviously “best in class”. And once they either:
a) lean into being airborne longer, or
b) slash the reload benefit to where you’re closer to loader mods,
the perk will fall off completely and flip to being unusable trash like the other airborne perks.
PS: “best in class” = SPECIFICALLY for boosting reload. Outlaw,rapid hit are gaaarbage so long as this is around.

I read this as come time like twice and I was so befuddled.
Crimil’s Dagger has some other gem features that were missed. First and foremost: it activates Facet of Solitude on Prismatic and activates Stylish Executioner just for a normal 3 headshot kill. Just don’t boost the mag size, else you lose that unique feature.
Strategist + Kill Clip can bring 2-taps online on Acrobat Dodge Hunter, keep the Radiant uptime high, and buff the Stability to boot.
Moving Target + Zen Moment is incredible heaps of consistency for free.

I use pure poetry for swashbuckler. It's the only 2tap all resiliences perk for 120s in the game now.

my love for precision instrument slideways has been my goto for this handcannon, super forgiving and I dont have to worry bout reloading too much

Once again best weapon review out of the box that most streamers wants the whole community to step in sadly, while as a 120 rpm enthusiast here I would say that after hp changes killclip is still the king with a good and a proper reload speed so u can use it at any time u can have it, since u can still use the extra dps to push damage fall off a bit more, so either start the fight from 45m with a full dps headshot or either play on the range limits of fall off, while u still need 2c1b no matter what on 10resilience that is any good players mandatory! Precision instrument is a just ok for the same type of use, but needs 6 shots for max dps so this makes it useful mostly on 6vs6 only, and adagio is ok for a lone wolf and situations teamfights that starting a team shot with a 115 matters , while reloading may cut team shots flow a bit too much there! As for the last , stability= flinch reduction is the KEY nowadays on 120s and that has to be the first mention for them!

I’ve been advocating for Air Trigger day one and have been trying to bring it to light in different comment sections, reddit posts, etc.
I was making multiple Bold Ending rolls trying different things out and the one important thing on a weapon for me is the reload speed.
Tried Air Trigger and it blew my mind how good it was despite going in expecting nothing. Immediately went to enhance it.
So glad someone actually tried it out and saw how good it was instead of writing it off just from perk description.

It’s not a secret. Though it was bugged for a bit and having it on one equipped weapon was giving it to all your weapons.

@@jonahbrown5669 Some people like to pretend they're part of a "secret tech"/"bleeding edge" group who has had everything figured out for decades so they can pretend everyone else is finally catching up.
The only time this was ever really true was the "funny gun" era; that was legitimately a secret that got leaked by a former member of the group abusing it.

Glad to see some love for Air Trigger! I picked up in this perk’s value a few weeks ago when I got a Sightline Survey with Air Trigger + Voltshot, which ended up feeling almost like a primary mini-Indebted Kindness with how you can play like an Arc gunship on Warlock. Get a kill, glide, quick reload, then rain Voltshot devastation from above.
I got a Bold Endings with Air Trigger at the beginning of the final shape and I found out about the quick reload by just bunny hopping.
It’s really awesome, and for those high impact HCs I always look for it.

TYSM. This is why I have no vault space. I now hoard all rolls of new weapons/old weapons with new perk pools until I know what’s going on with them all. At least I learnt from deleting what I thought were trash rolls in the past that turned out to be really good lol
I think air trigger only works because it's a handcannon. You gotta remember that handcannons have the highest aim assist cone angles versus all other weapons and shaving some of it off doesn't harm you too much.
I’ve been pretty happy with my air trigger adagio once I learned when those stats were activating.
You convinced me. As a Warlock main I'm now wishing I hadn't deleted so many air trigger rolls of weapons
Thank you for pointing this out, I had completely overlooked Air Trigger (this is like Discord and pre-nerf Deconstruct all over again, where my first glance at the (long-ish) perk description made me think it's inapplicable to me but then nestled in that paragraph is an OP perk).
I have this with moving target and precision instrument and accurized. Loving it so far

As a relatively new player, Crimil's Dagger was the first 120 hand cannon I tried out in PvP. I mostly used Brave Luna's Howl or Dire Promise before I got a Crimil's drop with Moving Target/Precision Instrument, and I've fallen in love with it. Still trying to get an Adagio roll, but there's time.

3:04 just to be clear, Slideways grants 25 stability and 20 *handling,* not reload. This brief period Slideways is up helps close the gap (stat-wise) between it and Igneous but that's just during the period Slideways is up. Igneous has the benefit of always having more stats, being able to push its stats even further with select perks and can have an adept mod.
I just got an Air Trigger drop and instantly deleted it.
Now I'll have to take a look at it.

Air Trigger is just opposite trigger but same effect as field prep. Both for inventory and reload

Feel like the whole fast reload is pointless when slideways auto reloads, and if you get a high range roll you can use steady rounds which give bonus ae and put on 1-2 ae mods on your helmet and you’re basically just as accurate if not more than air trigger

This 120 is my favorite I got one with adagio and outlaw and another with moving target and precision. I love them both

I was never a hand cannon enjoyer in crucible. But this hand cannon feels great. Idk what it is about it but I've just been having a good time with it.
I have smallbore, accurized, range MW, slideways, PI and to me its perfect. Slideways gives me 2 bullets on slides and 30 stab and handling. Its amazing

Drop mag in my old one with RF and EP, very solid handcannon
When I first read Air Trigger, it looked like a different Field Prep where the reload is on jump, and the shooting performance it not different if you don't shoot from the air, but being Outlaw speed is pretty nuts. On the rocket you mentioned, the reserve boost is another spot where the Field Prep comparison happens.
Might be better than Field Prep even if the reserve boost isn't as big because to me it feels like jumping is faster than crouch when it comes to detecting if the perk is active or not.
I have an old crimil's dagger. Range finder and timed payload with drop mag.
I'm running tact mag,outlaw, precision instrument.. just really wanted to double down on reloading and never feeling like I was getting caught out
Idk what it was about Loud Lullaby that always felt good but Crimils feels similar so I'm def chasing a bunch of rolls for it

Got an Air Assault/Adagio Crimil's with Arrowhead/Hammerforged and Accurized/Alloy mag. It's not only good for PvP (which I'm terrible at), but also fun as hell in PvE. 10/10 gun.

I’ve tried this gun, it hasn’t been the best roll but trying it I didn’t enjoy it but I don’t think it’s the gun itself but the fact I’m so used to 140 hand cannons that 120s feel a little weak in comparison but that’s just me. I think it’s mostly that while a 120 can 2 head 1 body while a 140 needs 3 head shots to kill in 3 taps I’m more comfortable hitting those 3 heads on the 140 before a 120 can land the 3 shots it needs in total. (Ik thats excluding the 2 tap potential of 120’s with damage perks) I also feel that 140 seems more forgiving in the sense of I can clean up a 2 head 2 body kill decently fast if I don’t land all my precision hits
Ive seen so many people talking shit about air trigger and not understanding what it's for. As a controller player, the accuracy AA trade isn't really a factor, but it's huge for reloads
Air trigger procs all effects on other weapons in your slots, and having multiple air trigger weapons equipped stacks the reload, accuracy, and target acquisition loss as well. Try triple air trigger and reload an lmg with one quiet moment or something lol
So fun fact about enlightened action is different guns inherently gain more stacks per shot, so a hand cannon gains 3 stacks of it per shot so explosive payload actually should be giving you 6 stacks of enlightened action per shot
After finally getting great Slideways rolls I learned... that I don't actually like Slideways. I love the slide perks on 140s but it turns out I don't like them on 120s.
I;m a basic peek-shooting guy and I'm loving my basic Moving Target Precision Inst. roll, since all I wanted was an Iggy for the kinetic slot.
for whatever reason Air Trigger isn’t linked to the gun it’s on exclusively, it applies to ALL your guns. So having it as a perk will make your other guns reload faster and have less air AA. Having 2 guns with AT will stack the effect.
I was under the impression that bug was fixed.
