Sometimes my depression gets the best of me but i yry to make sure to watch a video every morning, one hour is nothing when youre already doing nothing ❤❤❤❤
You are my reason to keep going I'm bullied all the time thank u I've been through a lot losing my kids trying to start over and love myself and forgive myself you are my savior you're actually my lifeline thank you
Incredible, and hospice volunteering, I have done that before my husband died, as a aspect of my job. And I don’t fear death. I am incredibly grateful for life, sometimes the empty spaces where my husband used to work or sit cause me a moment of grief, but I am human. And grief has its place. But while we are alive and connected to our community and still can function within our fellowship of friends, I will always be grateful. Thank you so much for this video.
Ms Mel i am proud of you for continuing to be a good provider despite some of the ungrateful insecure people who push their negativity in attempts to intrude to your good vibes. Sometimes no need to look for a heart when youre a walking version of one. I appreciate you!
Mel!! I will complete my hospice volunteer training on May, 21st, and will be working with patients soon after. While I have always had a heart of service, when Judy talked about her experience in hospice, I KNEW it was for me to learn and lean into. Thank you!!
Judy's statements about happiness reminded me of Matthew Hussey's description of happiness as a continuum instead of a destination and learning how to be "Happy enough."
My dad rode bicycle until he couldn't. He has neuropathy in his feet. He rode bike until he was 86 yo. The only reason he stopped his because he could not feel his feet. He has been in a retirement home with help for 4 years. The whole time he has been there he as used his walker for everything. The last 3 months he is using a wheel chair because he is having trouble moving his legs. Still uses the walker with help from a nurse to use the bathroom. He is 89 and keeps doing the things that he can do. Your mother in-law reminds me of my dad. Keep doing until you physically cannot.
I LOVE your longer videos! The time you took to compile this information is much appreciated and I can't thank you enough for all that you do! Life changing information in one video that would have taken me months/years to find on my own? Sign me up!
Absolutely. It will keep you in the corner. I've experienced a lot of different mental health and physical health. Since I was diagnosed with one cancer in 2020. And after getting done 2 years later, with treatment and radiation I um I found out I have to write reprogram myself. Yes, You and your guess really helped me get through the day like suggestions? I have come a long, my thouphysical exercise and different things. To bring my body back and I changed. My diet like mark Haylmansays.
I know from personal experience its works. Its hard at first, but the rewards are fantastic, without dieting i lost the 6 1/2 stone I had been carring for 20 yrs!! Arthritic pain gone( excercise really important ) thank you Mel you getting great work out here. 😊
Thank you Mel. You’ve inspired and moved me this morning. I’m going to eat a better diet and live more in the moment. I do spend time with people who are housebound, I’m mainly housebound myself so when I’m well enough to go out I visit others and it’s incredibly uplifting. I love you Mel, you’re an inspiration.
I actually sat and watched this video from start to finish without clicking ahead and I took notes for the first time in probably 2 years. Honestly I don't have the patience but this was Amazing!!!! Wow! So much good stuff here! Thank you for sharing with all of us. Hugs and much love, GinaB🥰😍💕
Loved each speaker first and foremost Mel! I am excited to do a 10 day reset, make my budget list, use body language with a difficult person, and do the mantra and live for the day!
My mother who has mental health issues is staying with me a couple weeks so I’m going to return to journaling because I feel myself spiraling and refuse to get dragged down
I love that I have your videos to help me through all my struggles. Your help has been endless…and thanks for sending your love ant the end of the video…it means a lot…love you too Mel!
48:22 Never take apple cider vinegar without mixing it with something. It can damage your throat if taken straight, full strength. She only said mix it cause of taste so I thought I'd just throw that in here.
Thank you Mel! Your podcasts are amazing! Your mother in-law has just given me a purpose for my life. I’m going to do exactly what she suggested: go to Hospice for training!
I am grateful for happening to find your channel here on TH-cam just a cpl weeks ago. The timing was just right. I with be watching the podcast with Judith next. I'm 47 & starting to feel it. Really great info - please note neurodivergent people may eye block more not out of wanting to hide or lie, just eye contact is really uncomfortable 😅 like sand paper - I am on the Autstic Spectrum and if I am tired i find it VERY hard to maintain eye contact in a conversation 😅 Thank you again - your information has really changed my life ❤
Yes I’ve just taken control of my own health and lost over 5 kg with fasting intermittent fasting and eating to keep my insulin low for longevity, but I have done it using Stevia. I’ve been told by food scientists that it is fine. He never quite finished that sentence also Monk fruit
Mel love your channel, I broke my foot and have been having to keep my foot elevated and have been loving your show thank you for this Gem of a show and you are a delight🌷🌼🌺

I have to admit, while I value all the inspiring information from you, it’s overwhelming to keep up with. I’ll just watch the ones you recommend for now.
I absolutely love how Judy put it “Don’t wish your life away”. I’m going to try to live by it.
1 Nutrition Eat healthy, whole, non-processed foods non glutin, non sugar,
2 Anxiety How to calm run-away thoughts
3 Money Easy ways to be aware of what you have, how you are spending, what you need
4 Body Language Secrets - Intimidation - Looking confident - Knowing when someone is lying to you
5 Morning routine to live longer and be happier
The morning routine is much more doable for a retired person
Although if you get up really early, that would work
1 get up early
2 turn on sauna
3 drink water with orange power packet
4 have a latte
5 go back to bed and go through email
6 play a hand of bridge
7 get into sauna
8 say mantra Sa Ta Ma Na while in sauna
9 drink kombucha, apple cider vinegar, fresh squeezed orange
10 go for a 5km walk
Great advice from 86yo Judy Robbins
