Skyrim logic - An undead monster with a complete mastery of magic that can raise the dead and probably eat our soul ---- Let's attack it with an iron dagger!
I enjoyed how Oblivion and Morrowind forced you to keep your weapon in mind. Not being able to kill certain creatures unless your weapon is silver or magic. Frustrating but fun.
He's not kidding around when he says the Undeath questline is complicated. There's something like 16 different appearances for your Lich form but they depend on how you finish the questline and what items you use in the final ritual. Definately use a guide!!
My Lich Roleplay goes a little differently. The Divine/Daedra conspire with each other tricking Alduin to resurrect his fallen Dragon-kind. In the process, also resurrecting the path of his own undoing. Since the Gods cannot directly influence the material plane of existence, one (Hermeus Mora) takes over Miraak. Hermeus Mora's enemy takes over another Dragonborn. Call it Yin and Yang-the cycle of life and death. His name is Vanquisher, getting called that in the Soul Cairn makes it more immersive. He was a Dragon Priest who was awoken during Alduin's return. He was awoken in one of the Dragon Priest's dungeons i.e., Forelhost. In his awakening, he knows he has to become the Dragon King over Man and Mer. He travels to every Dragon Priest burial site to speak with them, awakening the Draugr in the process. In conversation with the Dragon Priest, the Priest endorses the Vanquisher by having a duel in the 'old ways'. Once Vanquisher wins, the mask is handed over as proof of endorsement. You can add your character to the Draugr faction for immersion. Once all the masks are obtained, he knows he can finally become the Warlord with the last mask as intended. He knows he is still in a material body, so he has to expand his knowledge through the College of Winterhold, unlocking the secrets needed for immortality. Once he finalizes his power in Lich form, he can take over the Dark Brotherhood to use them to kill the Emperor solidifying his reign. As being a Dova, he naturally wants to dominate. At this time he is strong enough to take Alduin and Parthurnaax on, removing them from their Thrones as well. Once Parthurnaax, Alduin, the Emperor, and one of the leaders in the civil war have been annihilated, he can truly call himself a God on the material realm of existence, dwarfing Talos and Wulfarth entirely. Now that the ground quakes as he passes, he can turn his armies onto Solstheim-destroying Miraak-the vessel of Hermeus Mora. Once Hermus Mora is shut down from his control, the Divines can then bring back the rightful balance of life and death. Once this is completed, his time will come to be locked away in a Dungeon, and his spirit returning to the after-world until the release of the Elder Scrolls 6. LOL
For armour, I'd actually recommend getting the "Konahrik's accoutrements" mod. It gives all the dragon priest masks their own set of armour to go with it; Vokun looks good and has good enchantments for this build. I think dragon priest masks also appear on the lich form, or atleast some do. Unfortunately, it's unavailable for special edition.
I used this mod to make the Dragon Warlord Build. Once he claimed all of the Masks, he would set out to become a true Warlord, gaining more power to burn both Civil War factions into cinders. He firmly believes that Tamriel must have a Dragonborn ruler, and that it's his Destiny to rule. Whether the other nations bend the knee willingly or by force doesnt matter to the Warlord, for he shall take the Ruby Throne one way or another
Worth noting that you *CAN* go to Solstheim without finding out you're the Dragonborn. If you talk to the ship captain at Windhelm, you can hire him to take you there for 250g.
I *LOVE* seeing late-game builds like this, which have a fresh array of abilities, and an interesting backstory to go along with it. Amazing to see Skyrim still going so strong after all this time; really gets my gears turning for mod ideas. Thx again for putting these TES builds together, they're actually one of my staple videos.
@@lordsprietsma228 For me the only problem is the dungeons are like a maze and are sometimes hard to know what to do, There needs to be a version where it doesnt take as long, Apart from that, Id rate it a good 8.5/10
Gilgamesh Yup. Any staff, even staves in mods, works as long as you wield it in your right hand when you transform, your Lich will wield it instead of the telekinetic attack. One of the cooler staves your Lich can wield is the Staff of Worms; the staff of Manimarco himself which casts targeted Mass Reanimate (it comes with the Undeath mod but I think you have to spawn it into your inventory with the console to get it). I haven't gotten the masks to work for me, though. Is it just the vanilla masks that the Lich will wear or do the Dragonborn masks work too?

Agreed. I recommend Guild Master from the Nexus too. It allows you to create a Necromancer guild. For a Guild lair also recommend Blackreach Fortress. Adds a huge player home in Blackreach for you and a butt ton of followers. Combine those Afterlife (send soul trapped victims to the Soul Cairn) and you have the perfect Black Worm Necromancer build with a guild.
Highly suggest you guys to remaster this! Not only has there been a highly lauded bugfix mod (Undeath Classical Lichdom) been released for adding new features and fixing many of the issues, but imagine mixing this thing up with some of the other current stars of your modded series, like Ordinator and Andromeda
If you noticed at the very end of the video when he turned into the skeleton, and he killed the person a soul was absorbed. If you cast firestorm and kill multiple enemies whilst in that form. You will go back to full health and regain the your Lich form insted of the skeleton.
Yes, learn about a forbidden magic at the land of barbarians. A better reason would be he wanted to practice raising the dead on the corpses of soldiers left from the Civil War.
Pasta Hat There's sooooo many burial crypts in skyrim from past wars that the Lynch would be able to research the bodies leftover for decades if not longer.
You forget that Skyrim was pretty much the crucible for human races (except redguards) entering Tamriel, so it's probably one of the places littered with the most tombs and bodies. The college of winterhold is also the last place of its kind (Synod research things for political gain, not magical) because the mages guild had to disband due to the oblivion crisis.
Pasta Hat That's already a story in the vanilla game. A necromancer in a cave (I can't remember which one) has a journal that specifically mentions practicing on the dead from the civil war.
In its history, Skyrim has a plethora of old magics, just because the Nords have started becoming a bunch of magic hating idiots the last 200 years doesnt mean those ancient spells dont exist.
Susan Slaphappy The undeath mod adds a the "Mass reanimate" spell (lich and human form) that does the exact same thing but without having to re-equip the aetherial crown.
I remember how a friend of mine recently reminded me that the power of the aetherial crown is not the same as the ritual stone. When I said ritual stone I also said aetherial crown and just started assuming they did the same thing.
J17 Yes, I know. I'm just so used to using the Aetherial crown to get infinite mass reanimate that I sometimes incorrectly think that the power of the crown is actually the mass reanimate.
fun fact: all dragon priest masks except for konahriik will be seen on the lich's face while in lich form. Your gear that you wear out of lich form still grants you its effects as well. (the mask too obviously)
I'd almost think that joining the Dawnguard AGAINST the vampires might be the better option. It gives the Undying the opportunity to show that the vampires attempts at immortal life are futile and weak, before he/she becomes a lich and shows tamriel true undying power.
for the Undeath mod, I highly recommend adding a few addons for it that make your lich form even more powerful, such as Immersive Lichdom and Undeath: The Ascension. Ascension in particular is really great, as among other things it allows you to wear dragon priest masks in your lich form, benefiting from their effects. On top of addons for Undeath, I also highly recommend using Ordinator with this build, primarily for one of the branches of the conjuration tree, the one that allows you to collect bones from corpses to create skeletal minions.
Warriors are jocks, muscles for brains and everything, they brute force everything without a battle plan, while mages are the nerds who strategize every action and gain the knowledge to bend the elements to their will but somehow the warriors still get all the bitches. With becoming a lich or even a vampire, the joke is on them because they outlive everyone
Whenever you activate lich form, it completely removes vampirizm and vampire lord. That means every time you transform, Harkon gets pissed off. So join the dawnguard
Another mod you should probably add to the list: Undeath Immersive Lichdom It expands significantly on the lich form itself, adding a wider range of spells, a perk tree to further improve your powers as an undead mage (found under the Conjuration tree), and changes up the constant-effect power that comes with all the pros and cons of being an undead. It also fixes a few bugs in the host mod that the original modder was unable to fix. And as a personal side-note, Konahrik's Accoutrements might be another good one, as it allows to craft your own dragon priest masks to custom enchant and wear in lich form (although I have no idea if those enchantments still work while in lich form).
From what I remember, the latest Undeath mod removes lycanthropy and/or vampirism when you get the lich form. So if you decide to go this route, finish up the dawnguard questline first or side with the dawnguard
My character (In this build) Was a high elf, A member of the vigilant of stendarr sent to find out what happened to the convoy transporting a dangerous necromantic artifact, And As he went on his quest to defeat antioch, His mind was slowly corrupted by dark magic, Eventually making him do a ritual, And turn himself to a lich, But later after a lot of stuff he is redeemed and joins the dawnguard.
Firstly I wanna say how much I enjoy ur videos I discovered u guys when I got hardcore into fallout 4 then ur builds got me back into skyrim which I never go back to older games. To me that's should be considered a huge compliment in itself. I think it would be amazing if u guys would take the time to write down in the description the names of the armor pieces their enchantments if any possibly even location. Even if u didn't tell us where to get it I could at least use copy in past or screen shot. rather then continuously re watch the video to catch what ur saying again or writing it out on a piece of paper. Same goes for spells and weapons. It would be hugely appreciated.
Im playing with this mod, but instead of using conjuration and destruction, I changed destruction for restoration; I didnt change it because the healing, but for the disease/poison spells. More lore aproppiated for a Litch I think (And funnier too) I can kill a weak enemy with some disease, raise it, cast another spell to the strongest enemy that gives me "live vamp" or whatever its called (it gives me X% life of the damage dealed to enemies) and meanwhile i cast another 2 spells in this strongest enemy that activates when my life is damaged or his life is at 60% (the first poisoning him and the second insta-killing him) But yeah, I recommend to increase the difficulty to at least very hard, you know, this build its op AF.
I loved trying out this build in OldRim. I've got an idea though! You should revive this build in Special Edition, using Ordinator and your standing stones mod, and anything else you think would enhance the gameplay! That would be amazing!
Played this as a Dunmer, opened up the avenue of joining the dawnguard because although necromancy isn’t taboo among the dark elves, vampires are so it fits his beliefs.
Fudgemuppet doesn't realize how good necromantic healing is. So you don't need to worry about health as much. Your armor rating from any gear you wear out of lich form will still affect damage absorption while in lich form as well.
A small detail he got wrong: You can actually go to solstheim whenever you want, you don't have to wait for the cultists. Just take the boat in windhelm.
I wish there was player freedom while in lich form. like open your inventory and the only things you can equip are staves and dragon priest masks and also have the ability to use the rest of your spells
I have a idea for an unmodded build: The Guerrilla. He's an Argonian from Black Marsh who fought in the Great War (and any other wars that are convenient for the plot). He was born in Black Marsh in the city of Gideon near the border with Cyrodiil. He was orphaned at birth for reasons unknown and grew up on the streets. He was never really good at much other than melee combat, he was a competent smith but was not good enough to land a job when there were so many others better than him. Growing up on the streets, he had to fight to survive and without any means of income he was forced to scrounge for whatever he could find. He was no hand at picking pockets but was exceptional at getting away unseen with whatever small amount of food he could get his hands on. Eventually the guards caught on to him and nabbed him, they arrested him and took him to the prison. when he got there the Captain of the guard recognized who he was and offered him a chance at redemption. Since it was petty theft and nothing major the Captain gave the Guerrilla a job: Ambush any of the "unlawfuls" traveling along the rivers. The Guerrilla accepted and was equipped for the job, however since he WAS a criminal they didn't give him anything that could give him an advantage over the normal guards, Hide armor and a shield, and an Iron sword. He also asked for some of the other orphans on the street to be given the job as well. Joined by his small band, he found an area that seemed too well traveled for it's proximity to a river. He and his band set up camp on the other side of the river and would wait in the water for anyone suspicious pass by. The band became proficient at this kind of ambush and were gradually joined by more and more jobless individuals. However, eventually the Captain decided that the Guerrilla had paid back his debt, and sent him back into the streets. With nowhere else to go the Guerrilla heard of the war in Cyrodiil and decided to head there for work as a soldier. He kept the same guerrilla ambush style in play and attracted more soldiers to help him due to his success. However when the Great War ended he was once again out of work. When the civil war began in Skyrim he decided to head there in search of more work. He was crossing the border near Helgen and is, of course, captured. I think he would join the Companions for work, and maybe even the Dark Brotherhood for his roots in stealth combat. He should not choose a side in the war so that he can milk it for every bit of coin he can earn before it ends (This sounds heartless, but he has grown up with nothing and when the war ends there would be significantly less work in the Companions and even the Brotherhood.) For the equipment the Guerrilla would use a full set of Hide Armor and a Hide shield with an Iron sword, pretty basic but that's what he's used to (plus the hide armor looks really good on the Argonians for some reason). For the skills, you'll want One handed Block and Light armor to get the most out of his, lets face it, terrible equipment. You'll also want Sneak for your Guerrilla ambush combat, and Smithing to improve your armor and weapons. For the standing stone he'll use the Lord stone to help with his poor armor. If there's anything missing let me know :)
+CrazyOrc this is one of my personal favorite play styles and I thought I'd share and see what people thought of it. I've tried the Argonian Slave build, but it didn't pop out like some of the others
You should make a Cleric mixed with a Druid character she would be heavily into restoration but a lot of natural magics and could transform into the werewolf when need be.
+john versackas That sounds like it would be interesting. If it's modded Wrath of Nature, Druid Essentials, Path of the Divine, and Religion could make a character that relies almost entirely on nature-themed magic and the blessing of the gods
I named my necromancer ”Mannimagus”. To me, he is, as somebody in tamriel would say, the coldest son of a bitch there ever was. So he saw his father as weak. He didn’t want the name his father gave him. He chose a new father, mannimarco. And he named himself aften his new-found father.
I think it's important to mention that the original mod author for Undeath is not supporting the mod and the community has made several patches. If one wants to use this mod, they should utilize the patches as well.
5:36 I've watched this video 3 times between when it was released and today, and only just now did I catch that possibly unintentional pun All these puns are so dead
This build seems to be the next phase to your previous "lich" build. My one comment is that the spell equilibrium can be used not only amazingly with this build but for role-playing purposes. Also, totally called it that you guys would use a male breton for this build.
My lich is a dunmer who wears the saltplains armor from armor of velothi 2, he wields poison based destruction spells and the thrassian plaguesword. He is indeed a lich but only calls on his true form when an enemy doesnt fall to his poison spells and sword. He worships Dagon, not for religious reasons but because he is consumed with gaining power is any way possible. He uses soul cloak and an abundance of empty soul gems to help fuel his dark arts. He will destroy anyone who attempts to stop his plans by any means necessary, and will often force those hes slain under his command. Not only for the extra brute strength they provide but almost as an insult to them to dare think they were stronger than him.
This build gave me an idea! The next modded build could be the Night's King. If you don't know it's from the Game of Thrones universe and it's basically a frost, necromancer, undead King guy. I'd like to see your adaptation of it, FudgeMuppet!
Can you guys make a Mechromancer biuld for fallout 4 when the DLC comes out. The mechromacer is a class is Borderlands 2 in case you didn't know.......
You know choosing a Breton for this build was a REALLY clever idea. If you guys know about this lore, Bretons actually have shortened lifespans due to their eleven blood. Their mortal bodies aren’t able to handle so much magical power, so a Breton seeking immortality is really clever.
Make sure you do the college of Winterhold before becoming a Litch or you won't be able to do the quests . That and the Thieves Guild not working are the only problems I have run into . I have Destroy the Thieves Guild mod so the second problem had an easy fix .
This mod looks fun and i'd try it if only my remastered version of skyrim wasnt so laggy. I tried to use the high king of skyrim mod and not only did it make the game 10 times more laggy but the quest wouldn't complete. For now i'm sticking to my regular version of skyrim. Although this lich quest should have been added in the base game or as an expansion.
its good to see this game isn't dead i say that because no one in a play through ever finishes it beside couple people but what am i talking bout people finish morrowind and oblivion
you should make a build where your a high elf that became obsessed with undead and learned all there weaknesses and strengths and learned how to kill them and use them for his personal army with ordinator
The atronach stone isnt a good choice in my opinion because it makes some conjuration spells useless because everytime you cast you absorb the spell making conjuration impossible

GO TROOPS! GO AND CAPTURE SOLITUDE!
when you've been waiting weeks to play a fiery new fudgemuppet build on your xbox and its modded.
+Alex Kok get a PC? its worth it trust me, bought one just for skyrim.
+hippopotamus I have no money.
it took me 2 years to save up for mine, and then i had to sell my Xbox to make up the last bit of the cost - still worth it (I payed ~$550 for my rig)
yooo
Another mod to look into for this build is "Path of the Revenant" which will give you some necromancer goodies for your human form
I love Skyrim so much and you guys just keep making it feel more and more fresh
Warriors are jocks, muscles for brains and everything, they brute force everything without a battle plan, while mages are the nerds who strategize every action and gain the knowledge to bend the elements to their will but somehow the warriors still get all the bitches. With becoming a lich or even a vampire, the joke is on them because they outlive everyone
you guys should re-master this one
I've done this before and it is soooo fun I can't believe Bethesda hasn't implemented this into the elder scrolls before
i’d suggest that the perk ordinator, wintersun, and undead fx mods get added to the build
cool build, I'd love a part at the end of these videos were you just rattle off some other mods that might be cool to try along side of this build.
Love the vids man especially the Skyrim ones not a lot of people do them anymore keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I watch your builds every week because I love the ideas I don't know how you do it it's amazing
Whenever you activate lich form, it completely removes vampirizm and vampire lord. That means every time you transform, Harkon gets pissed off. So join the dawnguard
Another mod you should probably add to the list: Undeath Immersive Lichdom
It expands significantly on the lich form itself, adding a wider range of spells, a perk tree to further improve your powers as an undead mage (found under the Conjuration tree), and changes up the constant-effect power that comes with all the pros and cons of being an undead.
Please give this a remaster! With the wintersuns mod and a few other choice mods, this could be the most op build ever
makes video about a necromancer. proceeds go only reanimate only once in the entire video. nice
+The Digital Ninja
He reanimates so many times wtf are you talking about?
My character (In this build) Was a high elf, A member of the vigilant of stendarr sent to find out what happened to the convoy transporting a dangerous necromantic artifact, And As he went on his quest to defeat antioch, His mind was slowly corrupted by dark magic, Eventually making him do a ritual, And turn himself to a lich, But later after a lot of stuff he is redeemed and joins the dawnguard.
The problem is that Antioch's robes don't look look all that great.
Joshua Seagondollar Yeah, to many colors, buggy, unfit for a Necromancer
Something to keep in mind for the alternate start that FM recommended: There is a dwarven sphere right outside of where you start so be ready to run.
“I am a immortal being you are nothing to me”
“How many spells did you have before”
“96”
“How many now”
I LOVE this mod, immersive, creative, fun, yes tedious during the process but once you achieve it it really feels like you've evolved. 👍
Im playing with this mod, but instead of using conjuration and destruction, I changed destruction for restoration; I didnt change it because the healing, but for the disease/poison spells. More lore aproppiated for a Litch I think (And funnier too)
I can kill a weak enemy with some disease, raise it, cast another spell to the strongest enemy that gives me "live vamp" or whatever its called (it gives me X% life of the damage dealed to enemies) and meanwhile i cast another 2 spells in this strongest enemy that activates when my life is damaged or his life is at 60% (the first poisoning him and the second insta-killing him)
But yeah, I recommend to increase the difficulty to at least very hard, you know, this build its op AF.
I like to do conjuration and illusion I sneak in use mayham then raise the ones that fall to finish off the left overs
Great to see you make a video using the same Lich mod I use.
I combined this build with the cryomancer build, instead of a dawnguard full-helm I use the dragon priest mask dukon
I was kinda sad before watching this, then when you said something about undead army's, I broke into a giant grin
You should do a draugr enthusiast build
Everybody : Necromancer.
This guy : DRAUGR ENTHUSIAST
You guys are awesome and really talented with builds. You keep Skyrim playable for me :D
A small detail he got wrong: You can actually go to solstheim whenever you want, you don't have to wait for the cultists. Just take the boat in windhelm.
Undeath is a great mod, wish the creator kept it updated, but its good to go as is.
I wish there was player freedom while in lich form. like open your inventory and the only things you can equip are staves and dragon priest masks and also have the ability to use the rest of your spells
Grid you should be able to use a dragon priest mask that's already equipped with the lich form since it's based on the dragon priest model.
Modded builds are always really badass
+Austin ‘DarnedStingray’ Restovic They already have a build that's pretty much this with dual wielding, the argonian slave.
+CrazyOrc this is one of my personal favorite play styles and I thought I'd share and see what people thought of it. I've tried the Argonian Slave build, but it didn't pop out like some of the others
Bit shit
I have waited for this for over a year!!!
You should make a Cleric mixed with a Druid character she would be heavily into restoration but a lot of natural magics and could transform into the werewolf when need be.
That sounds really interesting, I hope they look into it.
+john versackas There's actually a pretty extensive Druid mod out there with a buncha animal forms.
+john versackas That sounds like it would be interesting. If it's modded Wrath of Nature, Druid Essentials, Path of the Divine, and Religion could make a character that relies almost entirely on nature-themed magic and the blessing of the gods
Yes pls
I named my necromancer ”Mannimagus”. To me, he is, as somebody in tamriel would say, the coldest son of a bitch there ever was. So he saw his father as weak. He didn’t want the name his father gave him. He chose a new father, mannimarco. And he named himself aften his new-found father.
Cringe
@@Summerinnovember How is mannimagus cringe?
I've been wanting to play with this mod for a while now... might just give it a shot soon.
I think it's important to mention that the original mod author for Undeath is not supporting the mod and the community has made several patches. If one wants to use this mod, they should utilize the patches as well.
Apocrypha made me wanna punch a hole through my computer, but apart from that this mod is great
The beginning of the back story is really similar to my own life, if you substitute magic for art and knight for police/military.
Those robes at the beginning of the video are legit dethmolds from the witcher 2
CDprojekt uploaded the assets for anyone to use so there are loads of witcher 2 skyrim mods.
Matthew Strupp
I see
This was one of my favorite builds good show mate
I thought I remembered you guys doing this build, love this channel.
5:36 I've watched this video 3 times between when it was released and today, and only just now did I catch that possibly unintentional pun
All these puns are so dead
around 6:19 it sounded like you said "immortal Bitch"
epicjn So true!!! XD XD

This build seems to be the next phase to your previous "lich" build. My one comment is that the spell equilibrium can be used not only amazingly with this build but for role-playing purposes. Also, totally called it that you guys would use a male breton for this build.
FudgeMuppet I enjoy watching your videos and I think it would be awesome if you livestreamed.
Finish Dawnguard BEFORE you decide to become a lich. Keeps things simpler that way.
This build gave me an idea! The next modded build could be the Night's King. If you don't know it's from the Game of Thrones universe and it's basically a frost, necromancer, undead King guy. I'd like to see your adaptation of it, FudgeMuppet!
Fudgemuppet moded build 2 to 10 mods normal moded build 60 to 200 mods
Yay, modded builds are back!
The Undying VS The Thrall Master
Who would win?
My mom
i'd like to see a viking build. please?! definitely needs a shield and prefers one handed axe. (Unmodded)
Can you guys make a Mechromancer biuld for fallout 4 when the DLC comes out.
The mechromacer is a class is Borderlands 2 in case you didn't know.......
What is their speciality? I've never played any Borderlands games.
Jack Copp She summons a flying robot called deathtrap to kill enemies
Tip: use soul trap on a dead body and wait an hour for like 30 minutes and boom level 100 conjuration
I'd be interested to see what the vanilla version of this would be like.
It simply wouldn't exist, the build is built around the mod
This mod looks fun and i'd try it if only my remastered version of skyrim wasnt so laggy. I tried to use the high king of skyrim mod and not only did it make the game 10 times more laggy but the quest wouldn't complete. For now i'm sticking to my regular version of skyrim. Although this lich quest should have been added in the base game or as an expansion.
you cant get this mod for ripoff edition
its good to see this game isn't dead i say that because no one in a play through ever finishes it beside couple people but what am i talking bout people finish morrowind and oblivion
I actually joined the dawnguard as sort of a powerplay and went for a type of larloch persona where im manipulating from behind the scenes
Yeah, cool, done it, dont forget the undeath immersive lichdom v3.6 by tx12001 for further lich powers and perks!
Have to say the Lover Stone form the Aurora Standing Stones mod would work really well from a roll play perspective.
you should make a build where your a high elf that became obsessed with undead and learned all there weaknesses and strengths and learned how to kill them and use them for his personal army with ordinator
That was hella cool, definitely a new favorite
Is this mod available on PS4?
The atronach stone isnt a good choice in my opinion because it makes some conjuration spells useless because everytime you cast you absorb the spell making conjuration impossible
Love your magic builds
I do wish you could get an option to work with the vampires without being one if you were a Lich. It seems only natural that they be allied.
