  • Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Brittany Kaiser has recently shared a trove of previously unreleased documents detailing the company’s covert operations around the world, including its work with President Trump's former National Security Adviser John Bolton. The data company worked closely with Trump's presidential campaign and the Trump super PAC that ran the "Crooked Hillary" campaign ahead of the election. There were "red flags here and there," she recalls, but the last straw for her was the two days of debriefing that occurred after Trump’s victory in the 2016 election. “They showed us how much data they collected, how they modeled it, how they identify people as individuals that could be convinced not to vote and the types of disinformation they sent these people in order to change their minds,” Kaiser says. “It was the most horrific two days of my life.” Kaiser worked at the data company for three years before leaving in 2018. Cambridge Analytica would close down in 2018 after an investigation by a U.K. newspaper revealed how they used information from 87 million Facebook users without permission to sway voters during the 2016 presidential election. Could the same happen again in 2020? "Absolutely," Kaiser says. "I think if anybody thinks this is different than 2016, they are sorely mistaken. … There are hundreds of Cambridge Analyticas around the world, especially in the U.S. elections right now." The company's role in the 2016 election and the United Kingdom's Brexit campaign is explored more in the 2019 Netflix documentary "The Great Hack," which was shortlisted for an Oscar.

Yang was finally exposed for waffling on Medicare for all. And Bernie dominates Trump in every swing state by every metric. Hands down.

Ekyllier, You sound insincere. There is a thing called a DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY where Yang and Bernie compete then the winner competes against only Trump.

Ekyllier, Unfortunately, no. The USA has just 2 major political parties. To make matters worse, a 3rd political party is only allowed to participate when the fascists want to sway an election.
In 1992, Ross Perot was given non-stop coverage and was able to participate in all debates. Why? Because George H.W. Bush had allowed taxes on the top 1% of the wealth class to increase. Daddy Bush also did not turn over Iraq oil fields to US Companies. Perot shaved off some support. Clinton was a 2nd Best kind of choice for fascists and whenever he wanted to do something they didn't like, he would be blamed for the prior existing debt, be investigated for his consensual affair with another adult, etc.
Perot ran again in 1996 but the difference was stark. Perot was ignored by the media.
Make no mistake, when a Supreme Court Judge seat will become available. They will cheat to put a Republican in the White House. An occasional Democratic President of their choosing can still be pushed or convinced to do their bidding and it makes it look like American votes matter.
When Gore was the leading candidate, Ralph Nader got the same support as Ross Perot but they still had to steal Florida. Despite the Governor/brother who's mistress was the Secretary of State for Florida, the recount was favoring Gore. The Supreme Court of the USA stopped the count 5 to 4 and declared Bush the winner 5 to 4.
Nader ran again in 2004 but like Perot, had performed his function despite being in denial of how he was used,
If all of this sounds unlikely, I recommend an entertaining movie based on fact "The Falcon and the Snowman" with Sean Penn. There is a motivation that Christopher Boyce had - and you're in that country right now. If you prefer non-fiction, you might watch "The Panama Deception".

Alarm bells need to be ringing out loud now.
Get big money out of politics.
And teach folks how to spot blatent disinformation.
Jeez, it's too scary to think election results are decided by persuadables, the downright ignorant, and the deplorables.

the problem is: well, you can try to teach some people, all the live-long day, to spot disinformation. but esp., the past 5 years have made it ABUNDANTLY clear. that, with some 'students,' no matter how hard you try, all *you'll* learn about THEM is that 'the lights are on but nobody's home.'😐

I was about to post a comment, then I seen yours. This is exactly what I was thinking. Anyone who is shocked that anyone running for political office, especially potus, has never used what're media at its time to sway voters to vote for them and try to make the political rival to be seen in a unflattering light, has to either be dumb as they come... or is doing exactly what they are trying to accuse the other side of doing. I think the latter is true in this case. The lady in the video is def using media to try to discredit and put "someone" in a negative light. This is to me democrat bs at its finest. 😂
