These designs look more like Halo Spartans than Robert Heinlein’s description of Starship Troopers Mobile Infantry. Kazutaka Watanabe who was the mech designer for the 1988 Starship Troopers OVA for each variant of M.I. suit makes you believe that 1 basic trooper is a death machine that devastates everything w/in a 3 mile radius. Those suits were big, bulky, and loaded w/ bombs, smart rockets, flame throwers, and machine gun. Comms, Sniper, Heavy Gunner variants and command suits carried a tactical nuke missile. These highly articulated spartan armor suits are not it. 😂
True but they’re close. What I would give to have a true to the book starship troopers game with tue mara under suits, egg deployment systems dropped from low orbit and being able to jump and hover to mark distant targets before moving forward

For every one trooper there’s a couple thousand bugs… the bug’s strategy is essentially what the red army used in ww2 but to an extreme level throw enough bodies and eventually it will die. Doesn’t matter how good you are you’ll either get exhausted run out of ammo or just get over ran eventually. Also these bugs are strong enough to rip steel like it’s paper.

Yep. The power armor in the books were more like highly mobile, fast-moving, gunship/light artillery hybrid platforms.
