Indeed, in my opinion the colors on the IPS LCD look more neutral and I do like that. I think the white balans is better on LCD. It is real white and on OLED it is a tad yellow.
Oled is just better and I have an ips phone currently. my older 2015 oled phone 'i used it till i got this phone less than a month ago' does not have any 'ugly green lines' or burn in at all so you were sadly misinformed. Bros, after using a smartphone IPS for two years, switched to OLED and I prefer IPS. Nothing extraordinary; from my perspective, the battery isn't something extraordinary either (which vary from smartphone, my old IPS was a entry level, my OLED now is a Pixel 6a.

Local Dimming is very good,So close to oled and you tend to find them on premium Tvs that out pace a OLED in every way apart from a QD-OLED.
