Majora's Mask is a really good game, but some of its flaws prevent it from being the best Zelda game in the series, like for example, the flawed saving system, the owl statues where you could save your current time in the 3 day cycle were pointless because they'd cancel out every time you reloaded your save. My personal favorite games in the series are ALttP, OoT and TP.
LordMalice6d9 What was wong with the saving system? In MM 3D it worked perfect, but never played the original one. But I must say comparing OOT 3d and MM 3d, MM is getting the cake.

Illuminati I mean, botw’s whole basic premise of four dungeons and a heavier focus on the world and characters? Yeah, Majora’s Mask did that, only... like... well.
Don't get me wrong i love BOTW and its got a lot of great gameplay mechanics but in terms of bosses and such it just feels dry. I mostly get a kick out of it for collection/horses/ the divine beasts / side things etc. ive barely been following the main story.
You lost me the moment you said so matter of factly that Majora's Mask isn't the best Zelda title. I don't know if I can say which Zelda title is the best, but Majora's Mask absolutely ranks among the top and very well may be my favorite Zelda title. There is a lot to love and digest in this title, and while it may not be for everyone, it certainly has a very unique style that I'm sure many say could make it the best title in the entire series.
i was going to come here and say something like that. there's nothing wrong with the video, so why insert an opinion at the beginning of a video that's attempting to organize facts? it sets the listener up to be skeptical if they disagree. this isn't a review, and there's no basis for the initial statement. it's bad writing.
The adult Link mask could've been used to get into places that Young Link couldn't or wasn't allowed in. Sorry that I had a brain fart when I made this comment, I had remembered Young Link talking to a guard, but had forgotten that he wouldn't let you pass because you had no sword as a Deku Scrub. :P
Brayden Page I wasn't listing off all the places, but I kept getting comments saying that the guard at the beginning didn't let you pass because you were a deku because my original comment said that he didn't let you pass as a child. This is my personal favorite Zelda game. The storyline and music plays on my heartstrings. It was brilliant, played it many times over in my childhood (even loved the creepy stuff, this game played on all my emotions!) and still replay now as an adult.
I would have to disagree with "Majora's Mask is certainly not the best Zelda game", that's a matter of opinion. But other than that, very informative video.
Yeah. I don't know what was up with that. Big letdown. I hate it when TH-camrs conduct otherwise perfectly competent and informative videos based on research and facts and then they gotta let their own irrelevant bias bleed through the material when it has nothing to do with the rest of the video.
Yes, I agree. With all respect to the youtuber, of course, but you're right, it's completely irrelevant to the information presented. I don't mind it so much if it follows or is followed by something along the lines of, "in my own personal opinion", but I don't like it when it's stated as if it's outright fact. It makes me feel as if my love for the game is not right, which is ridiculous. I've played every Zelda game (with the exception of Skyward Sword and the newest DS titles) and Majora's Mask is easily my favourite. It's not even close, despite Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess being among my favourite games of all time.
@@zb3397 these games are great. Except I didn't enjoy the last of us because i don't like story heavy games. But yeah. Games on ps4 don't put fun first. Which means a lot of them are based around the story. Oot does not give a shit and just makes a game that's fun and mechanics that surprise you. So to each his own. I think it is
Majoras Mask was the best Zelda game of all time! Majoras Mask 3D to me is a whole lot better! There are so many things that Link can do in Majoras Mask that he couldn't do in OOT.
Is it odd that I never got scared of the moon from Majora's Mask? Seriously, what really scared me were the mask transformations. Except the Goron transformation, because it looked funny
None of those "Scared" me but i found the mask transformations "gross" xD until i grew up a little and was like FUCKING COOL >x"D gritty. awesome. love it! hahaha... i prefer Dark edgy creepy and not long drawn out happy bloomy cell shaded sjdnsjnd sunshine like almost every game after @_@ (WW , SS, BOTW (kind of a mix though) and oot is kind of a mix leaning more to: Tedious. Pointless. Lengths. Ugh...gotta go allll the way over here and ALLL the way back again oh look its the water temple fuck that shit im out. " Like i legit haven't touched that game a lot due to these reasons. it was fun at the start freeing epona, illegally crossing the gerduo bridge, and then it got boring and dry and just repetitive and on going and i felt "exhausted" by the game a lot. (pokemon does this too me too 0.o) where as MM and TP i could go back and back and do it 20 x over and never get tired of it./ for me , who stubborn mule hates repeating, that says a lot. so if even everyone hates it (not saying do but if they did) it would never change the awesome fact that they still managed to make a big impact on someone like me.
5:00 "At the end of the cut-scene your told to try it on your own, a concept that wasn't used again until Twilight Princess..." T hat's actually an incorrect statement In The minish cap which was released in 2005 in North America and Austrailia, one year before Twilight Princess was released.
Am I the only one who prefers Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask? I mean, Majora's Mask is great, but it's indeed not the best in the series in my opinion. I'd say it's the 3rd best in my opinion.
+Eddie You're definitely not the only one who prefers Ocarina of Time. In fact, that opinion is probably more common than the opposite, but since this is a video about Majora's Mask, there's a higher concentration of Majora's Mask fans here. I'd probably say I prefer Ocarina of Time, but Majora's Mask is really something special from a creative standpoint since it uses all Ocarina of Time's assets and somehow manages to be so different and so unique.
Majoras Mask just has to few dungeons, also i dont like the save system, the sidequests are many, but they're frustrating if you mess up... but yeah everybody his opinion. :) hopefully the new one will be good, i just got the feeling that the overworld will be empty....
Arnold Foley And? I don't really see why your opinion matters... Those are some pretty petty reasons but meh...if you read my past statements you'd know what I meant
The green enemy is what I call a "Reverse Like Like", instead of sucking you into the monsters body, it would bump you back but take the same effect of taking your equipped items.
You know I really want another game like Majora's mask. Not only do I want, well, the masks again obviously, but I also want the Skull Kid to make another appearance. And unlike in Majora's mask, I'd like it if he had a role like a good guy this time. A role somewhat similar to that of Midna's, or even better, to have the ability to transform into the skull kid would be pretty freaking awesome.
Well, originally Skull Kid in the game was a good guy, he was just alone and lonely until he met Tael and Tatl then those three were causing mischief then he stumbled upon Majora's Mask and that's what turned him evil.
I'm just happy to see a channel about video games that doesn't have someone squealing like a child every time they show a video game. Please make more videos!
agreed. or Fuming like an angry cow because someone didn't do something they liked. screaming OH GOD till our ears bleed...those people pushed me away from game and review stuff for a good few years tbh.
***** Mega Man in smash bros? HA! Now that's funny. Old rare team forming a new gaming company and making a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie is more likely to happen before mega man is ever in smash!
God, this brings me back to 15 years ago when I was reading about Zelda Gaiden in some gaming magazine. I was so scared of the moon, it didn't help that I was away at camp and the full moon stared back at me for almost 3 days straight (I was away during a weekend)
We all loved ocarina of time beta quest that’s what got us all into beta quest , everyone likes it becuase it’s very mysterious and breathes new life into your childhood memories . No one that wasn’t a kid when this came out (27 now ) didn’t obsess over this . It’s very personal becuase our fondest memories and colors and feelings come from the ocarina of time and majoras mask . We all love leaving the n64 on and sleeping to the song that the level u were just on has . We love the mysterious feelings from kt
Mr.jasonxstar It's not as far out of an idea that you'd think it'd be. It's just that Nintendo keeps tight grips on their prototypes, so there's a slim chance that it'll surface. Although, the same was said about the Mario 64 DD Proto, so who knows. :P
Majoras mask really is the greatest zelda game. But you can never forget that ocarina of time birthed majoras mask. I played ocarina of time over and over as a kid. I still remember the first time I ever saw ocarina of time. It was at the rec center and one of the kids was playing the forest temple. I will always love ocarina of time for the nostalgia and memories It gave me. I never even knew about majoras mask and I was playing playstation 2 by now and our 64 was just collecting dust. Then one day my little brother came home with majoras mask and the expansion pack for 64 and MY MIND WAS FUCKING BLOWN. ANOTHER OCARINA OF TIME?! Of course as a little kid that's how I perceived it until I noticed the clock at the bottom of the screen. Then for some reason I thought maybe it was just a expansion of ocarina of time.. like a little side game or something. I will never forget watching my brother use deku link and gliding through the swamp on those big ass mushrooms. At first he said he didnt like it because of the clock and he felt like he couldnt explore without feeling pressured. So I eventually had my turn to play and man, that game changed my life. I fell in love with it. I was around 10 or 11 and I could understand what was going on a lot more than I could as a little 7 year old playing ocarina of time. Tje familiarity with the characters and the engine in itself but at the same time that dark and weird alternate universe feel I got from it could really never be explained unless you played it back then. Kids these days are so much about graphics i doubt they would appreciate the game how my generation did and i get it but damn man. I am so lucky to have experienced that era. Even after all of these years.. NO other zelda could compete with majoras mask to me. A link to the past is without a doubt the closest after majoras mask and ocarina of time. I love breath of the wild, but there was something about those 3 games that were more mature and serious. It seems like nintendo is trying to cater to this politically correct super pro-children, kiddy, type of vibe a lot more if that makes any sense. I appreciate the fact that they did at least keep the difficulty around the same. It's still a challenge (botw), but it just isn't as good to me as majoras mask is. I pray to God one day I could have my imagination just explode again like it did the time I first experienced playing majoras mask.
Here’s my Zelda Timeline: Child Timeline: Ocarina Of Time Majora’s Mask Teen Link Timeline: A Link To The Past A Link Between Worlds Oracle Of Ages Oracle Of Seasons Link’s Awakening Link: The Faces Of Evil Zelda: The Wand Of Gamalon Adult Link Timeline: Twilight Princess Skyward Sword Breath Of The Wild
After playing Majora's Mask 3D, I can say a few things about the newer remake that differs from the Beta and Original... *Spoilers* -The fishing idea that was originally planned for the beta before it was scrap in the final original copy, it was brought back. -The bosses are still the same, but they have an "Majora eye" now that you need to attack before they can die. -The Music Icon for Deku Link, Goron Link, and Zora Link has replace the Ocarina of Time with theirs, so revived. -Zora Link can no longer swim the way he does like in the original final copy -There has been some replacements with some people and locations of where to get a certain item. i.e. Finding the stone soldier Shiro. He is no longer in Ikana Canyon, he move to the Pirates' Fortress -The Great Fairy scene is still scrap, no luck getting that back -The Giant's Mask serve a different purpose now. Instead of battling Twinmold by sword, you fight them like Goron Link, but differently -The Alice in Wonderland idea for Termina is not available -Sheikah Stone found inside Clock Tower -No Green Bumper -More information from NPCs that don't serve a great purpose to the Bomber's Notebook That's about it that I can think of from the top of my head. I read from Eiji Anouma that he want to do the remake to recapture the "original feeling" of the game that it should've been back in 1999-2000. So far, BETA64, you were somewhat right about these ideas, but this is as much as I saw from the remake myself. Hope this helps you.
What I forgot to mention that how Majora's Mask was going to used 7 Days instead of 3, the N64DD is an attachment that used the system's internal game clock. Just like in the Animal Crossing games, but it was a good thing they remove it. The time merchant thing, not going to happened. The Song of Double Time was revamp in Majora's Mask 3D to help you pick a certain time in the game, but you can't go back to a certain time after you pick your time of choice. So, there's that.
so if zelda gaiden means "zelda side-story" does that mean ninja gaiden means "ninja side-story" ? that kinda makes ninja gaiden look a little... less epic lol
+David Green (DerpyDoo) When you think about it that way, yeah. Usually a Gaiden isn't a main game. Many series have spinoffs or sidestories called Gaiden.
Wait you can buy the Disk Drive off eBay? Well that's fucking useless since no games were finished or released for it besides being part of a collection.
Old video, but oh well. The reason Goron Link had the Megaton Hammer on the B button wasn't because he was intended to use it. It was because they wanted to give his punches the same properties as the Megaton Hammer from Ocarina of Time; which they did.
HuskyMukipers10 you are clearly under the age of 20, therefore longevity does not come into factor in your brain, most zelda fans don't sing a lot of praise for skyward sword, i think its a great game, nowhere near on the level of majora as far as depth, story, and underlying tone...
Well, I played every Home-Console Zelda so far and even if I dont agree with you, I can comprehend your opinion. On the other hand, I think that the Windwaker world was sometimes too empty and I didnt like the backtracking at the end. What makes Majoras Mask so different and awesome, is the Zelda-untypical Story, the dark ambience and the interpretation potential of the games plot.
***** Well in my opinion that's not true in the slighest but umm. Is it nostalgia for you? Most people who tend to lean that way do so because of nostalgia. Same with FF VII just holding the most nostalgia for people. It's also in part because it was its first title on a newer console. Did you play it when you were younger? Because I find usually only people who have memories of when they played the game as a child that connect them to the game call link to the past the best. Personally, Link to the Past wasn't a big deal for me at all. The last boss fight was, in my opinion, the absolute worst in all the zelda games, due to you having the ability to just leave if things got rough. This mean no difficulty in the last boss and almost zero atmosphere. Especially as the game wasn't exactly easy, the last boss being one of the easiest ones just made it worse. He's basically the first boss, but longer lasting and easier because exiting and entering the dungeon and boss fight can be done with no negative repercussions. Some of the items are interesting, and that's really the only reason I can say it's even good among other 2d zelda games is the variety. However, I still don't really like it because some of the items serve next to no purpose and others will be useful in locating like one item and then never be used again. like the cape. Freaking so happy when I got it. Then it did virtually nothing.
Good video but I don't like how you stated that "Majora's Mask isn't the best Zelda title" Everyone has their own opinions of course but I felt like you were stating it as fact...
lmao its not, that is subjective. what would be a fact is "Best selling" or " Highest Rating" etc. but even having the highest sales and ratings does not 100 % instantly make it THE ultimate best/worst for -everyone- ever in the entire fucking world. Its like tastes in food. You may think spaghetti is the best but that doesn't mean others will like it. So, no. How he said it is not fact. Lol
(Assuming by emulate you mean using on a computer,) Personally I was surprised that Majora's Mask (using Project64) runs so well on my laptop (which is around 9-11 years old). It rarely ever lags, while even Internet Explorer and (especially) Chrome are becoming problems to run. Of course, I do set "Project64.exe" to high priority in "Processes" in Task Manager so it runs better, if that last bit's at all helpful to know.
Project64 is like, the best emulator to run N64 games. It just crashes randomly while playing this very game. While using other emulators, such as on the PSP or on my Wii, it's a very tough game to emulate. The best way to play it is on the Wii virtual console, or from the Zelda collection on Gamecube. Even the real legit Majora's Mask on a cartridge can't be trusted to work flawless without messing up.
Wow usually my computer has plenty of problems with things that should work fine (and do work fine on pretty much anyone else's computer but mine). The only problems I've ever had are occasional graphic distortion (1-pixel-wide horizonal lines are offset by about an inch, but only in small areas and for a few seconds) and random lags which can be fixed by switching out and back into full-screen mode. Could just be a bad copy of the ROM causing P64 to crash, a bug with that particular version of P64, or both. But that's weird that my dinosaur of a laptop can run the ROM on an emulator just as well if not better than the actual cartridge, from the info you gave. I'm actually impressed. All I can say is I happened to get the right ROM and emulator version or that I'm just extremely lucky. Upon trying to find the video I got this from, I didn't find it, but I have Project64 2.0 (possibly the latest version) and I think I got the ROM from CoolROMs or something, if that's at all useful.
Kitty Lue The latest version of PJ64 is 2.1, they made a quick release right after 2.0. That emulator was giving me problems. So the best thing to do when an emulator gets like this, is to just do a fresh install, and copy over the roms and save files. Now it works fine for me, but It's hard to notice a difference from v.1.7 Since the games already worked perfect since 1.6. I highly suggest romhustler, they have everything you need and every version of a game (Like Ocarina of time 1.0, 1.1, 1.2). I personally like to use 1.0, since that's the gold cartridge I used to have on N64. You'll know if the rom is good, if it has [!] in it, that states that it's a clean dump. So if you were American, you'd want Zelda Majora's Mask (U) [!] If a computer can handle a particular system such as N64, then it's all up to the emulator itself to provide the compatibility. Your computer can handle the games so it's all up to PJ64 now to play the games well or not. PJ64's compatibility is near perfect, so that's not a problem.
Ah. I'm new to using emulators in general since most games I have played have been made specifically for PCs, so I don't have the best knowledge about ROMs and emulators, just know from experience that some copies of games/programs/videos/etc. are better than others. Come to think of it, the ROM I have does have [!] in it, but this info will be helpful in the future for getting good ROMs when I finish this game :)
Probably not much else. The race specific instruments could get added in, but probably only as an icon that changes depending on your race. The adult mask definitely not, especially since we have Fierce Deity (who will hopefully be useable anywhere). The last thing we need in Majora's Mask is MORE items to constantly equip and clog up the inventory screen, so it was good that they merged the instruments into one item. The unused cut scenes possibly, but not if they were cut out for censorship purposes. If the stuff you did in the three (probably won't be seven) day cycle was permanently saved, what would be the point of it? For the new events that you haven't done yet, sure, but it would take away from the feeling of going back in time which was so unique for Majora's Mask. Just make it so we keep our ammo and rupees, but still have the world around us reset. The green thing looks and sounds similar to a Like Like. They might have wanted to change/upgrade it for Termina, but decided that the regular Like Likes would suffice. Can you imagine losing all your weapons, killing it and having to go through all those pick up screens every time you got hit by it? DA DA DA DA: You got the bow back! DADADADA: You got the Fire, Ice and Light Arrows back! DA DA DA DA: You got the Hookshot back! DADADADA: You got the bomb bag back! DADADADA: You got the Deku nuts and Deku sticks back! DADADADA: You got your Sword and Shield back! etc. It's also unlikely that they would add spots for you to get bumped off in the remake, since that would significantly change game play.
theshawn666 Nice, but I was talking about things returning from the beta. The Song of Double Time and Razor Sword weren't different like that in the beta, were they?
***** please tell me the name of the song because you might be shocked but I've never beaten this game lol with that song I'll probably take an advantage to require it so I can comfortably play it haha
It's called the song of reverse time, you simply play the song of time backwards. There's also the song of double time that moves time forwards 12 hours, this is if you play each note twice RRDDAA
Beta quest for ocarina of time after knowing it inside and out feels like a goddess level with the training we have from the final release it’s too bad somone can’t fabricate it
I don't think 7 days would have been doable in the time they had. The plot threads were already intricate with just 3 days. The amount of content necessary to fill in four more days would have made the game feel much more sparse.
"Although Majora's Mask isn't the best Zelda title..." Boy you're risking some rants from Zelda Informer talkin' that way.

It was my first Zelda game, Odolwa gave 9yo me nightmares tho
Im playing oot for the first time. I never had an n64. And man this game is way better then anything im playing on my ps4. Its knid of sad
I think it is
The "Green Thing" looks awfully like a Like Like, but possibly without any animation programmed in.
It's Rupees. Not rubees.
Michael Kennedy its rugees
Maybe his first zelda games were the cdi ones
i know that just before this beta 64 video i saw the wind waker one
+William Chin omg you must be a reincarnation of myself
William Chin
since when did i mention minecraft? and also i just came from the wind waker one upon typing that
"Majora's Mask isn't the best Zelda title.."
Okay i don't know you channel but our honeymoon stop here.
Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda Game.
Final Shine SAME (also it's one of the 2 legend of Zelda games I have played XD) (also my other favorite is wind waker)
Final Shine ditto
CDI ZELDA BETTER
3:43 leftover from Zelda 64 (OoT beta)
"Although Majora's mask isn't the best Zelda title..." I beg to differ, this and Wind Waker are tied for my two favorite in the franchise!
Majoras Mask was the best Zelda game of all time! Majoras Mask 3D to me is a whole lot better! There are so many things that Link can do in Majoras Mask that he couldn't do in OOT.
+Carson Wolford Not necessarily
definitely not my opinion though
I still love Majora's mask tho.
Oot is too basic
Better story. tho
Majora's Mask is the best Zelda.
+Wolf Flower (Lom678) Probably,Ocarina of time is also very nice
+Wolf Flower (Lom678) ALL OF MY OPINIONS ARE FACTS.
+Wolf Flower (Lom678) I highly disagree.
+Wolf Flower (Lom678) You're right, MM is the best Zelda.
I like wind waker more :( ww is brighter and happier in my opinion
"But you can have an opinion, that's fine" I don't know why, but that made me giggle XD
One of the most unique games of all time.
Is it odd that I never got scared of the moon from Majora's Mask? Seriously, what really scared me were the mask transformations. Except the Goron transformation, because it looked funny
Nojical the Zora one was the scariest in my opinion
I used to have nightmares about the mask itself this game is hella creepy but it’s amazing
@eu não existo elegy of emptiness
i wasn't scared of anything 'cuz i'm a big boy (except redeads, i fucking hate those things)
The best Zelda in my opinion. Great video!
5:00 "At the end of the cut-scene your told to try it on your own, a concept that wasn't used again until Twilight Princess..."
T
hat's actually an incorrect statement In The minish cap which was released in 2005 in North America and Austrailia, one year before Twilight Princess was released.
"Even though it's not the best Zelda title..."
Shots fired
Dark Bowser I prefer Majora's Mask. But I prefer both of those games to Ocarina of Time.
kozuki7 lttp is
Am I the only one who prefers Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask?
'Certainly not the best zelda title'
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
...
Your not joking?
HELL NAW
Majora's Mask is'nt the best Zelda Game, OOT,TP or Windwaker....
Arnold Foley
Majora's Mask is the best
Axxzalor
In your opinion. I think OoT is the best, see how that works?
Majoras Mask just has to few dungeons, also i dont like the save system, the sidequests are many, but they're frustrating if you mess up... but yeah everybody his opinion. :)
hopefully the new one will be good, i just got the feeling that the overworld will be empty....
Arnold Foley And?
I don't really see why your opinion matters...
Those are some pretty petty reasons but meh...if you read my past statements you'd know what I meant
You can find those great fairy cut scenes when you beat the game. Just watch the whole credits.
The green enemy is what I call a "Reverse Like Like", instead of sucking you into the monsters body, it would bump you back but take the same effect of taking your equipped items.
Your doing God’s works, man. I’m playing though Majora’s as a 22 year old and straight up loving it! One of my favorites, right behind Ocarina!
Some elements from Zelda gaiden returned in BOTW, where you could wear a ninja outfit, climb walls, and wield katana-like swords.
ClericAssist He used to have the 4 giants as his friends before they left him.
Then he was lonely. Thsi is stated when you SPOILER enter the moon.
Why don’t you want another game like Skyward Sword??
It takes a lot of effort on my part NOT to start preeching about why Majora's Mask is one of the greatest single player games ever made.
"But you can have an opinion, das fine" I found that quote funny, and I have no idea why.
The weird looking wallet is actually a leftover from oacrina of time as the wallet was an early version of the one we see in oacrina of time
Fishing in Majora's Mask? That would never happen!
All I have to say is, MM3D Swamp FISHING Hole... Now say something else
Dub Wub Majora's Mask 3D? That's just crazy. I'll believe that when Mega Man is in smash bros.
***** Yeah I guess you're right, Megaman has no chance, Maybe in Smash Bros 11... We can only dream
***** or, wait. Megaman is in smash 4!
***** Mega Man in smash bros? HA! Now that's funny. Old rare team forming a new gaming company and making a spiritual successor to
Banjo-Kazooie is more likely to happen before mega man is ever in smash!
That wallet is used in mario odyssey
this beta64 episode deserves a remaster
after 7 years of the video release, no one noticed that the video length is 6:46?
God, this brings me back to 15 years ago when I was reading about Zelda Gaiden in some gaming magazine. I was so scared of the moon, it didn't help that I was away at camp and the full moon stared back at me for almost 3 days straight (I was away during a weekend)
"I'm breaking a sweat just watching this video"
Beta64 - 2013
I personally think Majora is waaaaay better than Ocarina.
It is but nostalgia will never let us have that opinion.
Aaaaand opinions.
Aaaaaand I disagree. Ocarina is better in my opinion, but you're entitled to your own incorrect opinion.
Eddie bish wut
I just dont likd that i feel I cant goof around and such since have time constraints
only the giant fish, jabu jabu, can save the world.
I have foreseen the future.
The song at 2:27 inspired me to close my Government Reflection (2.2) in a inspireable way. Amazing video my friend.
The thing why they added Alice in wonderland textures because it's the same thing link and Alice falling in a hole and find themselves in a new world.
5:08 *the new fortnite emote is looking WAY to sick*
Ocarina of time beta please.
I hope they make a video about Ocarina of Time Beta since it's better than Majora's Mask. *Jumps behind cover as a rain of bullets falls down*.
There's been one
5:21 - Shit, I break a sweat eating a treadmill
4:35 maybe it's a (like like)
It absorbs all weapons some armor some shields and knocks you back a lot
We all loved ocarina of time beta quest that’s what got us all into beta quest , everyone likes it becuase it’s very mysterious and breathes new life into your childhood memories . No one that wasn’t a kid when this came out (27 now ) didn’t obsess over this . It’s very personal becuase our fondest memories and colors and feelings come from the ocarina of time and majoras mask . We all love leaving the n64 on and sleeping to the song that the level u were just on has . We love the mysterious feelings from kt
I'd love to play the beta version :T
if someone Hacks Majora's and Put the Beta Stuff there?
Sonic 2099 The Hedgehog impossible
Mr.jasonxstar
Never Say What's Inpossible
Mr.jasonxstar It's not as far out of an idea that you'd think it'd be. It's just that Nintendo keeps tight grips on their prototypes, so there's a slim chance that it'll surface. Although, the same was said about the Mario 64 DD Proto, so who knows. :P
The great fairy cutscenes are so weird. Glad they took that out.
"Not the best," PSSSHHHHH
its the best
Caleb Crowe lttp is
The bossatron's Gamin crew it's lttp, not ittp
Caleb Crowe Ocarina of time is way bigger of a game than majora’s mask. It also has more than twice the amount of (gud) dungeons.
I personally believe the adult mask was gonna be used for stone tower instead of flipping it upside down
How to be Edgy: say Majoras Mask is the best Zelda game.

After playing Majora's Mask 3D, I can say a few things about the newer remake that differs from the Beta and Original...
*Spoilers*
-The fishing idea that was originally planned for the beta before it was scrap in the final original copy, it was brought back.
-The bosses are still the same, but they have an "Majora eye" now that you need to attack before they can die.
-The Music Icon for Deku Link, Goron Link, and Zora Link has replace the Ocarina of Time with theirs, so revived.
-Zora Link can no longer swim the way he does like in the original final copy
-There has been some replacements with some people and locations of where to get a certain item. i.e. Finding the stone soldier Shiro. He is no longer in Ikana Canyon, he move to the Pirates' Fortress
-The Great Fairy scene is still scrap, no luck getting that back
-The Giant's Mask serve a different purpose now. Instead of battling Twinmold by sword, you fight them like Goron Link, but differently
-The Alice in Wonderland idea for Termina is not available
-Sheikah Stone found inside Clock Tower
-No Green Bumper
-More information from NPCs that don't serve a great purpose to the Bomber's Notebook
That's about it that I can think of from the top of my head.
I remember watching this video years ago wow
I wish they'd put in the adult Link mask just so you had the option of playing as adult Link
so if zelda gaiden means "zelda side-story" does that mean ninja gaiden means "ninja side-story" ? that kinda makes ninja gaiden look a little... less epic lol
+David Green (DerpyDoo) When you think about it that way, yeah. Usually a Gaiden isn't a main game. Many series have spinoffs or sidestories called Gaiden.
exactly
David Green Oh. You knew this already?
ironically Ninja Gaiden is a main series, DoA is a spinoff to ninja gaiden.
MasterGameplay Heh that is slightly amusing.
I like the getting

Rubees... RUBEES, YOU SAID RUBEES
Wait you can buy the Disk Drive off eBay? Well that's fucking useless since no games were finished or released for it besides being part of a collection.
Steps to getting rich:
1.Buy a N64 DD
2.Wait a couple years
3.Sell it for more than what you got it for.
4.PROFIT
5.Repeat.
wait..so why would they release a console with no games for it? that seems..a little messed up.
This is by far one of my favourite channels on TH-cam
They should have kept the Rocky training montage in the game lol
Did he say rubies? Its rupees! What is he the merchant from the faces of evil?
4:26
Alolan Like Like confirmed!
6:21 oh look you can get into the deku flower at any position instead of in majoras mask you have to get in the right position
When someone brings up Zelda Gaiden why do I think of a crossover between Zelda and Ninja Gaiden???
I'd definitely buy Zelda Fit.
2:13 link has evolved into sonic
Lol
guy says rubies instead of rupees: there yours my friend! as long as you have enough rubies!
P.S. if you get the reference, reply!
"You can buy this rope for 30 RUBIES!"
+Len Wroblewski Rope? Lamp oil? Bombs?
+The Blue Snivy Maybe you will have to be.. hmmm... Richer!
+The Blue Snivy It's a Zelda cdi reference. :D
DON'T. EVER.Talk about the Cdi-games!
Old video, but oh well. The reason Goron Link had the Megaton Hammer on the B button wasn't because he was intended to use it. It was because they wanted to give his punches the same properties as the Megaton Hammer from Ocarina of Time; which they did.
lmao I'm dying right now ftom laughter from the way he said eiji aonuma "Eee jai onuma" lmao
Majora's Mask IS the best*
Skyward sword is better in my opinion.
HuskyMukipers10 you are clearly under the age of 20, therefore longevity does not come into factor in your brain, most zelda fans don't sing a lot of praise for skyward sword, i think its a great game, nowhere near on the level of majora as far as depth, story, and underlying tone...
HuskyMukipers10
Skyward Sword was an awful game. Only zelda game i truly felt like i wasted my money.
I am actually 15, but my voice is distorted to hide my real voice in my vids, but I love majoras mask and skyward sword equally :P
Sed1er Skyward Sword is hated for it's controls. But besides that, everything else is pretty good. I liked the story, and I'm a HUGE Ghirahim fan.
This video is inaccurate Majora's Mask IS the best Zelda title
Came here to write this. Have my like.
Then it did virtually nothing.
differenzialhumanist exactly how I feel. For most, it's either WW or Majora. Wind Waker was too empty and bright.
SuperSillyKitten
Not true. Can't agree with Majora's Mask being the best Zelda game because I never played the game or played A ZELDA GAME.
Hey Beta64, your opinion isn't fact, I think MM's the best Zelda title.
He never said it was.
Rorynator he said its not the best/greatest, but that's totally subjective and that doesn't mean shit
LoupiTheMightyCucco He was talking about his opinion, stop being so sensitive.
Rorynator but I've got feeeeeelings, and tehy're hurt :(
+LoupiTheMightyCucco was about to say this too.
the adult link mask might have been used to get out of clock town because the guard says that you cant go through because you are a child
I didn't think this would be so good, but...I am loving this commentary. Especially the Great Fairy part.
Good video but I don't like how you stated that "Majora's Mask isn't the best Zelda title" Everyone has their own opinions of course but I felt like you were stating it as fact...
Zephor That's because it's a fact.
lmao its not, that is subjective. what would be a fact is "Best selling" or " Highest Rating" etc. but even having the highest sales and ratings does not 100 % instantly make it THE ultimate best/worst for -everyone- ever in the entire fucking world. Its like tastes in food. You may think spaghetti is the best but that doesn't mean others will like it. So, no. How he said it is not fact. Lol
Majora's Mask is pretty tough to emulate, now I see why it needed an expansion pack.
So if you were American, you'd want Zelda Majora's Mask (U) [!]
If a computer can handle a particular system such as N64, then it's all up to the emulator itself to provide the compatibility.
*Clicks video*
Can't wait to start watching this!
"Although Majora's Mask isn't the best Zelda title"
Well that's enough of that
*Clicks out*
Is it a bad thing I somewhat remember when this video came out? lol
6:13 oh no Link is lost in the description! We have to find him
Ha!
With Aonuma talking about new features and has already confirmed fishing for MM3D...I wonder how much of this other stuff is going to be in O.o
ledzeppelin711
The guy that's pretty much the dude in charge of the Zelda series at Nintendo.
Hey look I was right about the instrument icons!
I turned out to be right about the song of double time, and from the looks of things...I might be right about the Razor Sword as well :3
theshawn666 Nice, but I was talking about things returning from the beta. The Song of Double Time and Razor Sword weren't different like that in the beta, were they?
That time item WOULD come in handy! I feel scared trying to play Majora's Mask because it's timed...
Yup
There is a song you can play that will slow time to a 3rd of it's normal speed, you will usually get plety of time to do anything you like with that
***** please tell me the name of the song because you might be shocked but I've never beaten this game lol with that song I'll probably take an advantage to require it so I can comfortably play it haha
It's called the song of reverse time, you simply play the song of time backwards. There's also the song of double time that moves time forwards 12 hours, this is if you play each note twice RRDDAA
+Roboshi and at what point of the game do I require the melody? :/
I think it would be funny if they replaced the moon with the Death Egg from sonic and knuckles!
Someone please make a rom hack from this idea
YAY, a fellow sonic fan!
Lmao. So true.
Majora's Mask is my favorite zelda game of all time.
Beta quest for ocarina of time after knowing it inside and out feels like a goddess level with the training we have from the final release it’s too bad somone can’t fabricate it
3:08 you said rubies not ruppes
Wind Waker is the best Zelda! *Runs away*
Owing WAKER is tied with Majoras mask for my 1st place
It Haves The Best Fighting Style, Artstyle and Designs are Awesome and Fresh and it was my First Zelda Game! Agreed!
Win wanker is best game.
Armando Vázquez I agree, there's no reason to run away, dude.
Spirit Tracks is the best. *Runs away*
"Certainly not the best Zelda title"
u fokin wot m8 1v1 me rite now
1:30 Ah shit, so we almost had Undertale 15 years before Undertale even crawled out of the depths of hell it arrived from?
I don't think 7 days would have been doable in the time they had. The plot threads were already intricate with just 3 days. The amount of content necessary to fill in four more days would have made the game feel much more sparse.
