- Hey @Chevrolet, if you wan't one hell of a video promoting your new Silverado 2500HD ZR2, there's a tough truck race this weekend and I just so happen to own a helmet....
But aside from that.... @elitefleetautomotive9181 is expanding! Nate is expanding into the shop next door to his current one and adding two 2 post lifts, and another alignment rack. Nate is assembling the lifts himself, and I stopped by for couple days to pretend I was helping. Since neither of us have assembled lifts before, it's going about how Casey and Nate projects normally go!
Be sure to check out our Patreon project where we use whatever it brings in in a month as our budget to help someone the following month! I was never a fan of the Patreon idea until I realized that I can use it to help others instead of myself, so I created the Patreon Project where we can all combine our efforts to make a real difference in people's lives and make the world a better place! For as little as a dollar a month you can join the group of awesome people already on board and be vote to help steer the ship along the way!

Casey to Ethan: "You ruin a lot of stuff with your logic, and I'm not going to stand for it..." Well, made my morning. Thanks!
I have a friend who (in the role of Casey here) likes to say to me (in the role of Ethan), "You're being entirely too *_reasonable_* again!"
Nate is back. He always adds a lot of humor to things. Nate and Casey together are a comedy team. The video of those two going to rescue the couple in the fire tower after a blizzard was really special.
"Time to do some sketchy things doo dah" LOL
Nate is NOT fat! He is a "gentleman of substance"!
So Nate needs to eat more carbs and other junk food that’s what farmers use to fatten up their stock before market-problem is when humans become obese they are looking at diabetes, cancer and heart disease with out going to market (food processors)
im going to use this for now on lol
The OSHA Safety guy is in the corner suffering full-body spasms.
The look on Casey's face when the lift started beeping next to his head. I thought we were going to see him do a cat level teleportation.
@22:15 "I feel like I'm the mentality of nine". The great news is that doesn't need to change. Some parts of my body are 77 but I'm still 9, 19, or 22, depending on the circumstances.
growing OLD in inevitable, growing UP is optional.
Cassey is a whole year older than I am in mentality.
@@johnhufnagel Growing up is not optional, but you HAVE to, to be adult, there is one option tho, you let that little boys mind go away from you, OR keep it somewhere in your brain and let it loose sometimes to play.
Total agreement from another 77 year old guy.
read my comment.. to them,, . people ask me how old i am,, i say,, i stopped counting at 43.. If the airbags haven’t gone off.. have we really tested it yet? 😂 priceless ❤
9:42 On every manlift or scissorlift (at least here in Germany) is somewhere near the ground a emergency lever, if you pull it it will lower the cage down. But there is a catch, in some cases you have to lower it all the way down befor you can go up again. It is more for like medical emergencys, but works great for overload situations to (like here if you hit a roof or something else).
@31:46 “What is this video even about.”….. it’s about doing sketchy stuff in sketchy ways like “flying lawn mowers” or “moving sheds” to get things done …or… another way to put it… just a day in the life of Casey, Nate and Ethan!!! Love it, awesome AF!!!
_Not with THAT attitude!_ ~ Comedy GOLD.
Casey, who said this was a bad video, I put myself inside that garage listening to you 3 talk gibberish, it's all in fun. I used to watch my husband for hours tinkering on vehicles, in fact we had a service station once with 2 bays, now my son is a first rate big rig technician with specialties. He also keeps my vehicles running. Some of us women thinks it just grand watching a man in a garage. At least I can speak for me!
Back in the 70s, I worked at a Chevron gas station for minimum wadge, and I could take it upon myself to install tires, fan belts, etc. without the owner vetting anything about my training. It was a far less litigious society in California back then and I never caught wind of any issues arising. The station owner was happy I made sales.
Time to do some sketchy sh!t, Do-Da, Do-Da! My safety manual just spontaneously combusted!
OSHA who😂
That's proof that there's a higher power telling you you don't need it. 😉
There is an emergency lowering valve in the base of the lift. It let off the hydraulic pressure back into the tank to lower platform.
Casey, I worked in automotive industry for over 30 years in Michigan. The one of the legal reason the OEM's can not sell that truck to the public, is if any of the Safety components parts are not off Production tooling..Brakes, airbags, and fuel system parts. or If any of other major component parts are from prototype tooling, the OEM's cannot sell them.
The shenanigans you guys get into, it never ends.😂 Keep up the great work! Thank you for sharing!! 😂😂😂
Rainman Ray has the best name for the Knipex pliers. and its dependant on the size.
big ones: Angry Pliers.
small ones: Frustrated Pliers
knipex is german, but:
in English, Nipex
in German, Knipex
Its just a englishification of the word.
@@KaiSyversenThey said at a trade show that it's "Kuh-knee-pex"
I didn't realize I was watching a comedy show but was one off the best videos ive seen in a while
there is no need to take the controller out of the basket... the master controls are right on the bottom next to that red shut-off button 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahaha didn't even think of that.....
Sssshhhhhh
Except the controller probably weighs three pounds….
Running it off the body controls puts you head down right next to it, instead of standing ready to run. And it’s a genie, so even brand new they aren’t great controls.
Must be his first day.
At 13:29, using tap to pay on card is more secure than using the chip. Because skimmers can read the chip when inserted but not when tapped. I used to work in the credit card processing business.
Addendum - and it’s much quicker than using the chip! Plus less prone to read errors by a dirty card/chip.
That's good to know! Thank you!
Yeah but a the tap information can be grabbed by a pocket scanner when they are close to you. You definitely need a protector sleeve or billfold. I'm not sure they work properly, you are taking their word for it. Cards aren't safe period.
I also want to add, I opened a brand new account at regions, got the debit card, activated it on the phone then used it at the Bank's own ATM, then a few hours later got a notification asking if I made a purchase on Amazon for a few cents. If not for that I would have been wiped out. That account can no longer be accessed via card or online. Direct in person bank withdrawal via check only. A check withdrawal gives me time to dispute a fraud withdrawal. But personally I think your money is safer hidden in a jar in a drain tile.
I just barter cows for everything.
@@Bryan-Hensleyowwww I’m coming to do a treasure hunt at your house!!!!
This was a crafty trick to make us think you got a new shop. Well played sir. I did enjoy Nate being back in a video.
Oh dear as an instructor on the Genie's, and every other make of MEWP (Mobile elevated Working Platform) you are pushing your luck. It's called a 3a. Next time RTFM! It will keep you alive. Turtle mode is forward speed, nothing to do with the rate it lifts or drops.
RTFM. Great old phrase!
"Don't, don't logic this" 😂❤
Best Comment Ever.
You Guys... You have ALL the Fun... lol When I had my lifts installed they took about an hour to install. (by a pro) But it wasn't half as fun. Please those videos coming.
If you did pin it against the ceiling and get locked out, you could still lower the platform with the emergency relief valve on the base. (Red handle)..
But they would then need someone else on the ground to do that…
I have seen about 4 other youtube channels get new lifts as a sponsor, and the 1 thing hey all did different during assembly is do it while laying down, then just stood them up.
the next best thing to competence is confidence. 😂
You guys have too much fun when you get together to work on projects. But it makes for a great video and now Eathan is in on it too!
When I first started watching the video, I thought it was your new shop Casey lol
I wish. We’re still working outside in the snow
@@CaseyLaDelle Mmm….doing offroad rescues only in a shop. 🤔 Sounds sketchy. 😂
Sketchiness and shenanigans make for good tv sometimes. Keep it up guys !!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Larry, Moe and Curly do stuff… sketchy stuff 😎
It is nice to see that he, made the same mistakes as we did. The chinglesh instruction are out of order, missing pages, and hard to follow. But you can muddle your way through them.
I haven't searched but are there no TH-cam videos showing how?
I work at a gas station and so far what I've heard is that the tap is the safest way to use your card because there is a randomly generated number everytime u use it. Always tap if possible
Yes, and that’s what multiple financial sites recommend. Because there’s no physical contact. But also much faster than chip.
The never said I was good at this lift sales and service company has a nice ring to it.
I've found that I often don't like to see what's happening behind me so I just cut the mirrors off my truck so now I just keep my eyes in front and keep the music playing loud. I also just imagine that the thumping and grinding feelings coming through the seat and steering wheel are just massage features my truck decided to upgrade itself with.
You should have put the scissor lift on the forklift first.
Those lights look like the same ones I put in my wife's sewing shed, sewing room and 2 garages. With the instructions we get for so many things, you have to be part engineer, mechanic and verrrryyy patient.
Years ago I worked for a company doing a remodel in a food processing warehouse. We would set 20' long conveyors on top of the scissor lifts and use them to carry the conveyors through the warehouse and lift them into place. Work smarter, not harder.
Great video! Can't believe I stuck around for the whole thing. I must be a deranged as you guys are! 🤣🤣🤣
Loved your jump when the lift began beeping while the wheels were by your head.
Powerful is also a good description. You wouldn’t want to wrestle a guy like that unless you had to. Big working men are not to be underestimated.
I think I can out run him. Probably be able to run faster than I knew I could if he was chasing me.
Casey, you could have made the Chevy pickup the center of attention by making it the first lift try. Being a retired pipe fitter we used scissor lifts every day to install pipe. Great three stooges video.
"what did they think was going to happen" (expensive lawyers)😂
I love the banter between ya'll.
More shenanigans with Nate. There's nothing sketchy going on here folks, just move along.😂
I love your recovery videos, but I feel this was even more entertaining than any of them. Y'all would be a hoot to just hang with and shoot the breeze.
Nice! We have used our 4x4 reach lift to hold the first 2 layers and roof of our grain bins we built before using the bin jacks. Worked way easier than anything else. Work smarter not harder!
Casey I am glad that you don't have to work outside in the cold weather anymore so I can't wait to see what you r going to be working on next
You guys are just hilarious!
Thank you for sharing!
Nate should be in more of your video’s.
It monday morning and you make my day as was have a bad day. Thank you for make so happy keep doing it. You should put the new truck on it. have a good week
Today is Tuesday, not Monday...
21:07 Knipex is a german Brand, so yes, he speaks it out correctly there :)
our "i" is spoken that way. The way the letter "i" is spoken in english, would mean "egg" (Ei) in german
I would give this video 10 👍 if it would let me!! I agree, CHEVY let Casey enter Tough Trucks with the ZR2!!
Absolutely!
low key love the shop videos with Nate and the other guys. But great promotional video of the chevy
Another great video; what wonderful friendships on display here!
The sincerity in Casey’s voice after Nate said, “If you don’t set off the airbags, are you really testing it.” Like, “Yeah, you have a solid point. You can’t truly say that you’ve tested it until the airbags have been deployed.” 😂
If the lift gets stuck up for any reason, there is a manual override/emergency valve on the lower side to let it down. You should also be able to control all functions from the lower panel. You say dying can take a long time, I say it takes a life time.
Lol
Good banter, love the constant jabs...true friendship, don't ever lose it!!!!
@27:13 Casey's life flashed before his eyes
FYI: dying is the second last thing you'll ever do. decomposing is the last thing you.
You aren't doing the decomposing process though, the bacteria are. They are what's alive, not you.
@@Bryan-Hensley all bacteria was in me before i died, therefore my bacteria decomposing me/my body.
Nate's just extra fluffy! Congrats on expanding (the business).
Those lights are awesome, I bought those for my parents shop 2 years ago, Only thing that sucks is the brackets they came with to mount them to the ceiling, great lights but you gotta make your own Bracket to hold them to the purlins. Mine started falling out of the clips a few days afterwards, Love the Lights. Hate the clips!!
Here for engagement.
Nah here for entertainment.
That cord makes it so you can run the controls from the ladder, so you can put the bolts in .
Casey, THAT'S why Chevy sent you the truck!
Interesting the hoist legs don't have a pad under them to keep the legs from rusting. And for the people that might have an issue with no bolts in the floor. You do that after the hoist makes a few unloaded runs up and down, as the legs will find "home" where they want to be. Thank's Casey and the happy guy's for the shows. Does Casey ever have non-happy people in his shows? Just the ones hooked to the truck.
That's completely against what I've been told by professionals ( I'm considering getting one used and install it myself). They are telling me I have to use special bolts that will anchor in concrete, I think they have to be welded to rebar then concrete poured and I have to dig a tapered hole that's wider at the bottom that's much deeper than the regular concrete pad. How would you be able to do what you are saying?
@@Bryan-Hensley First off, It's called a wedge anchor that has a hole drilled for it in the floor. And no, you do not have them welded to the rebar. And if you were told not to have a pad under the post for rust protection, go fot it. That pad saves the anchors and the post bases from future fails. The pads are made out of Kaiser billet and well worth the cost. "How would you be able to do what you are saying" you ask? I guess you have issues on simple things, I will try to help. Have a proper floor poured that is at least a foot think in the areas where you want a hoist, my shop floor is 18 inches thick, in 100% of the floor area. The pad goes under the hoist leg that sit's on the floor. Drill holes for the anchor's and pound them in. Secure the lag bolt with washers as needed.
@@ducewags pound lag bolts in? That doesn't sound safe.
@@Bryan-Hensley You have issues with reading, or know what a "wedge anchor" is. Would you like to try again?
@@ducewags you don't have a clue what you are talking about..
HEY! Good morning Casey and thumbs UP!
when i saw the short with the Scissor Lift , i did wonder who had a new shop
So Wise , Thank you . I think that tough trucking it would be a fine demonstration of Chevy POWER
Casey you should have pulled some strings and got your bud some challenger lifts. I see thier giving them out like hotcakes to every youtuber.😁
Ah look, a Ford truck… Already in the shop. 😂🎉
Should have pulled in the Zack LIft. use the boom under totally sketchy.
Looks to be good strong lifts...Nice workshop....stay safe you all and see you on the next one
Good video. This was me last year standing up my new 15,000 lb lift by myself. I can relate to the oil😂 .
Idiots with my lift the hose was inside and it rubbed thru with in months.
Bungee is on my safety as cars come down real slow.
You guys are a pisser to watch 😂😂
I always learn something out of every one of your videos, it's all cool stuff
There's a forklift right there, you just need a stack of pallets.
Good morning Casey. This reminded me of two monkeys trying to impregnate a football. Please more safety training videos. And what was that yellow machine in the background? Was it running? If you pick up the scissor lift with it you could lower the lift when it overloaded. And the sketch factor would be a 8.
The three of you together are fuxxin hilarious. I laughed through most of this video. The top of my bucket list is now a winter recovery trip with the three of you crazy fuxxers in the Haaglund. I wouldn’t mind more of these style videos. The recovery content is good, but this is better. I honestly haven’t seen a bad Casey video, and I’ve watched almost all of them…
Good morning I want to thank Ethan because this was a fun video. I always enjoy seeing you hangout with Nate that is a funny guy.
I wish he had his own channel that would be hilarious to watch.
I am curious as to why you don't use speaker phone around him. See I would do it just to see what would happen 😂
This is probably one of the best general shenanigans videos I've seen in a long time. Absolutely hilarious, so thanks to Ethan for grabbing the camera.
I'll bet this video tops your chart lol😊
12:15 I know that this is an old video but the welded bushings have to go against the frame! Might want to turn those around. In the manual page 22 states to make sure that the plate is installed as shown, which shows the plate flat side inwards and the collars inwards against the frame of the lift. 🤠👍
This is the best sound track to work today! LOL Random insanity. LOL
Been waiting for some Nate content. Always good for a laugh when you guys get together on video.
Nate is lucky to have friends that can help him get reset up.
Y'all are hilarious. This was my favorite video. Reminds me of my boys and I. Couple things. I installed my own lift as well, definitely wasn't paying for that, however I didn't have near as much trouble as you guys, and I didn't use my safety stop cable, and I have 2 zip ties in a loop so I can walk away from the lift while it's lowering. 😂
I used the lifts all the time, in my work, overloading is a must usually lol 😅
You guy’s are having way to much fun! 👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
It was like an adventure with the three stooges😂 just kidding. Love to see you guys work together.😊
I'm pretty sure that it's possible to drop the lift without it powered by bleeding the cylinder in an absolute emergency. So even if you pinned it to the ceiling you could still get it down but then you would need to redo the hydraulics.
As long as Nate is the one who should work under that lift I have no worries have my car there 😂😂
Do not give Casey your tractor. He will roll It😂😂😂❤.
The difference between a fool and a genius is the genius lived to tell about it.
So those scissor lifts, they have up and down controls on the bottom where the key goes in, it switches between base, off, and platform controls, no need to take the platform control box off like that...
Are you going to show us how you move the lifts to final position without knocking them over ?
Me and Nate already did that to get them where they are
Casey does the same as bruce cook. He lays down on the job alot to.
"Ooohhh Sh!t!" comes just before OSHA. Sketchy is a state of normal here.
I was starting my shop and I never installed a lift before. I bought one for 500 on marketplace. Iv now installed 3 or 4.
Make a TH-cam video showing how. I might be getting a used one within the next year, hopefully
Felt like I was hanging with you and your friends, thank you. Carry on . Carry on. Thank you.
he's not fat... he apocalypse level 300 certified. :D
