Even in this case (if it is true) the woman doesn't seem like she faced any penalty for lying (other than what would have happen if the truth came out) so why wouldn't she lie when the lie gets through massively benefits her and when it doesn't it doesn't generally lead to any penalties (yes it does happen but it is rare)
Serving her the divorce and custody papers while she's being treated in a mental institution is some next level badassery, and it's quite hilarious too, dude handled his business perfectly.....

@@rordongamsay7941 It used to be that way. My ex and I agreed on custody but he did not want me to have the kids so he did not have to pay support. So I agreed to him having primary care and more for the kids benefit so they did not have to go through the custody issue too many times like most other kids have to. In the end, the kids became closer to me than their dad after he remarried twice and the step kids became the favorites.

It's so scary that the dodgy wife can report him for domestic violence, and he's just instantly cuffed and questioned. What if he didn't have the audio evidence? Is her word just taken for granted cos she's the wife and he's the husband? What a wack world we live in sometimes
DV calls at dangerous. They cuff him immediately then talk because it keeps them safer. Those men will turn on cops, and so will the women. They will seriously call because he's going to kill them, then attack the cops when they show up to stop him because "I love him!" It separates the pair and allows for better control of the situation. A friend of ours went to one call and had to stay out of reach of the knife the women sliced through the screen section of the door with while trying to hold it shut during one of those calls. She was beaten and submissive until they said he was going to be arrested, and bam, she flipped her crazy switch and was screaming about how they couldn't do that. She wasn't going to let them. Officers have been jumped from behind by the victim while struggling with the abuser in these situations a lot as she tries to protect her abuser out of "love". And yes, "baby, I tried to stop them" is part of the fight once he's back out of jail and beating her for getting him arrested.
If he's the one reported as violent, he's the one cuffed for precautions. If she is the one being violent, she tends to get cuffed instead. Sometimes both because both appear to be a risk for violent outbursts during the call. Cuffing someone does not mean they are under arrest. When they are arrested, yes they are cuffed, but they are not mutually exclusive.

Amy truly is the MVP. That's a best friend that realizes that her friend has problems and needs help and is willing to put their friend's needs over their friend's desires. That is S-tier friendship right there. Should everyone be so lucky to have a friend that will put their foot down when you're going overboard.Best friends don't indulge your bad behaviors, they help you stop them.

There really needs to be more enforcement on lying under oath/false accusations for women.... yes it is technically illegal but that hardly matters when it is so rarely prosecuted/punished....

I can vouch for those crappy teachers, I had one in middle school who had heavy favoritism in many classes and backings from the principal at the time (from what I remember my mom telling me). When it was found out how many students she willingly failed (including myself) and that the principal was actively ignoring these claims and false grades, they were kicked out and went to a different school. Here’s the kicker, the crappy teacher who was the only one to flunk me (this was an AVID class as well so major jump nonetheless but it was doable, if you could calculate pre algebra within 10-15 minutes) had said that I wouldn’t graduate high school with any honors whatsoever since I was “that dumb”. Well, she attended my graduation (she was still a county teacher after all) and was near my mom in the crowd. To quote my mom on what she heard, “when your name was announced and the two honors you got along with your diploma, I heard Miss Nagayama (her old name I think) exclaim kinda loudly ‘that girl got honors?!’ Mrs. Tarumi (the English teacher I had alongside Nagayama) just nodded and said ‘told you that one was smart, I thought you would’ve learned by now. Didn’t you hear her teachers from 8th grade? They all praised her and she got honor roll from what I’ve heard’.” My mom and I had a good laugh about it, the best part was I didn’t even try, all my other teachers were so helpful and happy to answer any questions that for the most part, I really had no struggle at all in their classes but I always had a blast!

lol the landlord one would of been the second nicest landlord I ever had. I had a land lord who tried to triple my rent simply because it had a window which he had to install. The kicker? He didn't have to pay a single penny for the window due to our laws and his insurance.

The closest I ever got to sticking it to a landlord was when I was the last of the original 4 tenants in a house to move out. She tried to make me, and me alone, pay to fix the damage done to a door and doorframe that was caused by the wind during a storm. Our lease clearly stated that "acts of God" were not something we were obligated to pay for ourselves, and a storm falls under that. I was also the ONLY one of the original 4 who received an exit walkthrough inspection, and the woman who performed it wasn't my landlady and was an asshole about the whole thing.
And because the landlady had been in such a rush to fill the house when we moved in, we didn't have security deposits, so she had nothing to hold over my head.

3:03 I've rented enough and been to court enough to know this ISN'T legal.
If a landlord wants to raise the rent because of electricity or anything else (in my case property tax went wayyy up) they have to provide a 30-60 day notice (depending on the state).
My old land lord was a SAINT! he apologized over and over again for raising our rent and provided newspaper clippings and proof as to why he was raising rent.

That last one kinda hurts a little. My mom has a struggle with alcohol abuse. Fortunately she didn’t cheat on dad. She is currently working on getting better and our family is still whole, but it makes my heart hurt to think that the events of this story could’ve been my family’s fate.
