Yeah "wow i thought you were nice but actually you're a huge homophobe" Like, you could have just outed him as a cheater. What's with the freaky hang up on gay people???
As satisfying as her revenge on the guy in the last story was, I'd definitely give her an asshole score for catfishing an innocent man who might even still be closeted.
As if. It is more than likely a fake story but if not, then what happened to Tony is on him. She arranged for him to show up thinking that there will be no one else there. Did he not notice all the other guests, voices, smell of food, cars when he got there BEFORE he made his announcement? His lack of observation is his problem to bare.
Not to mention its not safe to be gay in a lot of different places in south America. Had she just exposed him to friend family and employers as a cheater, you do you, making up that he was gay and setting up dates with other gay men who didn't deserve to be roped into this, yeah, I e9uldnt brag about that
Not to mention the pain she caused all the other innocent people in his life. He might have been an online cheater but her revenge likely hurt people around him as much she did him.
She literally could have gotten him killed. Even if he is gay (and by all means, no evidence presented that he is. OP just said those things to try and make the situation "worse" than it really was), that would have STILL been homophobic and should be considered criminal because the threat of literal execution by strangers without justice because of living in a homophobic country is NEVER okay. After seeing OP's reaction, everything the cheater did was practically thrown out of the window, in my opinion. Nothing he had ever done was as bad as putting someone in a position where they would have been killed. Cheaters can be reformed (albeit with a lot of time, therapy, introspection, and living with the rightful consequences of said behavior), I highly doubt people like OP can be. That isn't asshole behavior, that's violent homophobia and should be making you angry.
Op in the last story made me go from 'yeah get him' to 'alright I'm no longer on your side.' The moment op added the lie of Jake being gay and pulling an innocent party of Tony into it. I got so disappointed in op.
The last story is so so fucked and wrong.... I understand the dude was a total pos but you dragging the lqbtq+ community and life style and using them in such a disrespectful manor. Shows you have no respect or compassion towards them what so ever And dudes poor friend who had nothing to do with the shit between you and him.. probably wanted to end everything after you made him the center of your malicious bullshit..
Jake deserved to be outed as a cheater but damn, not sure I enjoy the 'haha everyone thinks ur gay' aspect like damn shit like that can put someone's life at risk.
"Oh he's cheating on me. So I'll hack and read his emails, change his orientation to gay, send all this to his bosses, change all his passwords and commit identity fraud by signing him to multiple gay websites using his number and private information". That's an extreme overreaction. Breaking through various laws and costing someone their job just to get back at them cheating is a very stupid thing to do.
Exactly. That was lowkey homophobic. I actually expected OP to say "I don't feel very proud about that part" or something. Like what the hell. Weaponizing someone's (made up or not) sexuality is just cruel and evil.
@@MzKlD yeah it's kind of insane and I came straight to the comics to see if anybody else felt that it was homophobic. I really thought we were past the "lol calling someone gay is an insult" era. Also, I've been in that situation, and I just sent his wife a short Instagram DM. They ended up divorced but happy with other people, and nobody else got hurt. It was really that simple.
I thought she was going to write a “fictional” story about a cheat that just happened to match what happened to her to shame him online. BOY was I wrong
The last story got way too far. Sending emails of proof that one is cheating is pretty fair and understandable. But using sexuality as revenge is wrong. Especially to drag Tony in. If it actually happened, then I feel sorry for Tony because he got dragged into something that didn't involve him at all. That's pretty messed up to add that detail when exposing him for cheating would've been enough. I also want to mention that this all seems fake. Like I said, if it actually is true, then I feel bad for Tony.
I feel bad for Tony yes, and luckily his son is young enough to likely not be affected. But you are undervaluing the damage he did to his wife and all the women he played (and would continue to do so). It's hard to say what is morally right and wrong.
Agreed. You don’t get to pick and chose which laws are moral and ones that you have to follow. Plus revenge porn is illegal and you become a sexual offender when you do that. Libel and slander are illegal as well. Don’t stoop to their level
@@Statutum well she did a lot more damage that can be calculated monetarily. Libel is illegal you can be sued for ruining someone’s reputation by hacking into their e-mail and sending e-mail on their behalf that says that he is a homosexual
I feel bad for Tony in story 3,I like that she ruined jake's entire life and reputation but the second you bring in people that did nothing wrong, that is when you get a butt hole point.
Yall have really weird ways of saying "this person was violently homophobic and could have put people in mortal danger in a part of the world where being known as gay can get you murdered." You aren't much better than OP when you minimize violent homophobia like this.
Not a huge fan of using homosexuality as revenge. Also feel bad for leading his gay friend on. It is almost like he was stood up and i have been through that myself.
Thanks for saying this! I was wondering if the man in question was a homophobe, which would make it far more understandable. But this just drags in unsuspecting gay guys and sets them up for hurt.
@@maxsupernova yeah, that is the part that bugged me more. I like to think we have been progressive, and in high schools, gay is not even the goto insult anymore. But sadly the world is still the same from when i was a kid.
Exactly, that was really uncalled for, lowkey homophobic. If Jake was homophobic himself and OP was trying to teaching him a lesson... *maybe.* but still. That's just messed up.
@@njcheddar same. I'm all for people calling out cheaters and stuff but as soon as they started saying that stuff about faking gay dating apps and pretending he was gay just for revenge... I was like nope, no thanks. You can't just hurt innocent people for the sake of getting back at a dude.
While being cheated on really sucks and the last OP deserved revenge, the path it took felt pretty homophobic. Spreading a narrative that gay men destroy families by lying and cheating is just harmful. Like, yeah, Jake deserved to be outed as a cheater for sure. He’s a piece of crap. But implicating a whole demographic of people who are completely uninvolved isn’t petty. It’s dangerous.
Also is that a common narrative? Gay men destroying families, like if a closeted gay cheats on his or her partner surely homophobia is issue not the gay people
@@samsoncooper1 the narrative of gays ruining marriages is a pretty common one. But the way I’m looking at it is this. The wife of the cheater may not only be angry at her husband for his infidelity, but may also develops negotiate feelings toward gay people because she believes that was the reason her husband cheated when it isn’t. She may not, but I’ve read a lot of cases where people have had a single bad encounter with a gay individual and hated the entire group thereafter. So, assuming she now disliked gays because of her husband cheating, what happens if one of her kids comes out as gay? She’s less supportive? She kicks them out of the house and disowns them? One of my friends came out and her mother ran her over with a car. Or, say her kids pick up on these negative feelings and they also begin to hold dislike toward gays because of their mother’s prejudice. Young kids tend to copy their parents and this is how generational homophobia is perpetuated. And the guy wasn’t gay, so all this hate came from the OP making up something that didn’t happen. If she had used the man’s race as a basis for his infidelity then that would be pretty racist of her, no? My point was that spreading rumors and false narratives about someone based on sexual orientation is dangerous because it perpetuates hatred that is already an issue. Best case scenario only the one guy is hurt by all this, but it’s hard to believe that the wife of the cheater wouldn’t hold some resentment toward gay men in general after the flippant way the email was worded.

First dealership owner is proof that we don't live in a meritocracy. I mean I'm no rocket surgeon, but I would be smart enough to just be humble and have a frank discussion with the man. People who spend their free time helping their communities tend to be rather reasonable.
While getting back at a cheater is good and all I really dont like that they pretended he was gay to do it or that they hurt that one guy for no reason. Kinda sounded like they were demonizing being gay and thats just no bueno
Ew, she went too far when she got the random innocent guys hopes up that his love was finally reciprocated. Classic tale of someone being done wrong and becoming an asshole themselves.
That last post is precisely what Nitetzsche meant when he said "Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you."
The "gay revenge" stuff was super petty. Plus, Tony was innocent and she played him and possibly embarassed him too. Girl should not be bragging about that.
@@RAC00NFANGIRL feeling bad about it doesn't fix the issue?? Outing someone as gay could be a literal death sentence and she literally pulled an innocent man into it and put him in danger
Yes involving Tony was 100% wrong. I don't think OP was bragging - she acknowledge that she should not have used him that way. And she can't fix it. If her actions led to him being outed (and it's not clear from her story) there's no way to undo that.
Tomura Shigaraki feeling bad doesn’t change the fact that tony didn’t deserve to be part of a scheme that he didn’t agree on. What if this guy shows tony the message she sent to jake. Then some of it will backfire on her.
I felt the same way about that story. I wish she hadn't gone down that particular route. She could have gotten sweet revenge *without* going down the "I made everyone believe he was gay" path.
As a queer person in Latin America, i felt the same way, like, it's okay to want revenge, but outing someone should never be a choice, that man could've been killed, and adding Tony into the mix? Not only he was outed but he could've been hatecrimed by Jake while thinking they actually had something going on
That last story is gross and not at all a cool revenge story. First off, I thought we had moved past using homosexuality as a tool for humiliation, but OP decided it was the ultimate reputation-ruiner and it reeks of homophobia. Second, bringing innocent people in to become collateral damage is sociopathic. Third, this was just way over the top and kind of insane. I've been the other woman (we started when they were actually separated but he was trying to get back together with her and lying to both of us about it) and when his wife messaged me asking for the truth, I told her straight up. No mess, no collateral, did exactly what needed to be done.
That last story is not sitting well with me. I understand wanting to get revenge on a cheater, and to that I say, go for it. Truth be told, I was with OP until she said she told everyone Jake was gay. Like, okay send the messages between yourself and Jake as well as the messages with other women to the wife? Standard revenge. Sending that email to everyone in the contact list? Stellar. Pretending to be Jake and begging for forgiveness? Extra, but I'm still with it. Telling everyone that Jake is gay?... I'm sorry what now? I don't care how upset you are. Outing someone should never be an option on your mind, whether the person is gay or not. Then poor Tony being collateral damage is just awful. And then to top it off OP straight up told Jake she did all this - she legit confesses to it. Does she not realize that Jake could sue for slander? I'm not going to lie to you, dear reader. I'm calling cap on the story. There are a lot of details that are not adding up.
Yeah, to be fair, the evil side of me doesn't particularly care about the harm caused to the cheater, but once you start affecting other innocent people/groups, you're going too far. (The better side of me would like to say to let it go, move on and be the better person, but I'd be lying if I said I'm anywhere near good at keeping to that!)
Wow, that first OP was pretty savage. I don’t think the other stories will top tha- *OP # 3 enters the chat* Oh…. I stand corrected. Shoutout to that guy’s sister for letting OP know about his wife
I'm glad that others in the comments are upset with the last ops actions of using homosexuality as a tool to humiliate, these were different times back then but even so painting the narrative that gay = bad wasn't a good choice and they could have stopped at the him begging for forgiveness at all his cheating with the other women with all those screen shots and possibly post those screenshots to his public Facebook timeline after locking him out of his Facebook. Leading on a gay man was way too far and that just hurt an innocent man who had a crush. Edit- I'm a gay person and I'm sick of straight people in my replies claiming it's not homophobia, it is homophobia. Just because she doesn't say "I hate gay people" directly doesn't mean she isn't homophobic in her actions, some of you have such a base level understanding of what homophobia is and can't see its more than the cut and dry hate crimes. Homophobia can be subtle and can come in Mirco-aggressions as well and while this is no way subtle its baffling you would think her actions aren't directly caused by an underlying not giving a fuck about violence towards gay people. Being complicit in homophobia is just as bad as taking out the actions to hurt gays as well and here she isn't even being complicit she is actively doing harm by using biases to her advantages with no regard for the people she indirectly is harming and the stereotypes she is enforcing about gay men. Take any other prejudice besides homophobia and imagine someone using the prejudices to their advantage and tell me that it's not based in that same prejudice, you are not an ally if you throw your allyship to the side for your own gain. It's also funny that you guys aren't seeing prejudice as a sliding scale you can be different levels of homophobic and "ops" actions are leaning heavy on homophobic side of the scale. I feel like a parent giving you guys a stern talking to here Also I'm aware that the story is more than likely fake its like a 90% chance this never happened and the person writing it is doing it for karma and attention but it's more fun to take them at face value and analyze it as if it actually happened but I really don't believe the story is real I'm only arguing in these comments because the story is having irl consequences of some of you guys thinking the actions of the main charater isn't based in homophobia.
I don't think OP needed to add the 'coming out' bit. And of course she should not have involved Tony. That said, I also don't think she was necessarily saying gay = bad. She was instead taking advantage of social norms. That is, she knew coming out as gay could be professionally and likely socially devastating to Jake in a way that cheating on his wife would not be.
@@fdm2155 How is potentially setting up a man to get murdered just because he cheated on you and weaponizing your privilege as a cishet woman against gay people NOT a situation of "homophobe says gay = bad"? Intentions literally do not matter here (because, yaknow, most bigotry is completely unintentional and still carries LEAGUES of harm), it's an act of blatant, violent bigotry whether you like it or not, and I'm beyond done with people like you minimizing that. You aren't a good, informed, or effective queer ally if you talk like this, you just aren't. There is no universe where minimizing real bigotry makes you a good ally.
@@amiaswolfgang OP was stupid and what she did was wrong. I wouldn't assume that means she hates gay all people. She acknowledges that what she did to Tony was completely wrong. Unfortunately it's done and there's no way for her to undo it. She's hardly the first or only person to do something foolish/unthinking that has the potential to be catastrophic or even deadly for someone else. I'm not minimizing her action or responsibilty. I'm saying what do you expect her to do about it now? I mean that literally... how would she make amends to Tony if the others realized why he was there and outed him? And realize, her debt is to Tony, not every gay person in the world.
Why does this comments section call this homophobia? She's abusing the social situation of the guy while incorporating it into the story in order to make it both more believable and more widely devastating to his social life. For example, a man cheating on his wife with a bunch of women in order to try to get over an old lover has WAY less impact than "to try and trick his body into not being gay". Cuz in one instance, he's just stuck in the past and unable to forget it, but in the other he's struggling with accepting himself as well as the fact that he was *never* sexually attracted to ANY of them. And that shit just can't be done if he isn't gay or asexual. She isn't saying homosexuality is bad or saying he's bad because he's a homosexual, she's using it as a weapon to make the acts of cheating he did more reprehensible because of the implications of it, not the simple fact that he's gay. Weaponization isn't the same as a hatred or prejudice against that thing. Arachnophobia is an easy one to test this with, though it is a bit different of a situation because a lot of spiders can be directly dangerous to a person Post script: Tony really shouldn't have been involved with it. that's just on her. I'd put this in nuclear revenge personally, cuz posting his lewds without his consent to others and seizing his accounts definitely isn't something i'd consider legal.
@@shirothefish9688 Her using homosexuality "as a weapon" implies that homosexuality is something negative and unwanted, that it's something volatile and should be weaponised to seek revenge. You seem to think that it is OK to do this. It's not and it shouldn't be. This didn't happen in the 50's, it happened in the 2010's, people already knew better by this time.
While I get that OP in the 3rd story was mad and drunk, what she did was really homophobic and all around shitty. The guy definitely deserved to get his life destroyed but catfishing the guy(Tony) into thinking his crush was also into him was horrible. And also just using the idea of someone being gay as a reason for cheating perpetuates a lot of stereotypes. AND not to mention that guy she catfished might have been closeted, and SA isn’t the most accepting place (depending on where you are).
It's messed up that Op strung along an guy who didn't deserve to be treated like a prop for Op to get revenge on her ex. He didn't do anything wrong, and it was messed up on Op's part. You don't do that to others.
@@molotov666 how do you know there weren't pictures of the other girls? OP said the pictures included dick pics but didn't say it was exclusively him (unless you've seen a comment on the actual Reddit post?)
@@ManlyStump It was talking about Jake and his thing then swapped to saying all the pictures and messages that were sent so it's a reasonable assumption that OP is talking about his pics also in your comment you said "he ever exchanged" Just wanted to point that out lmao
After combing through the comments on this one, really glad to see a lot of people having the same thought I did on the last story. Weaponizing the friend's homosexuality was super not okay, nor was using homosexuality to try and demean this guy. All it does is reinforce bad stereotypes and put people in legitimate danger. Wish that one had just stuck to exposing the affairs. U_U
I love the grandpa, he's wholesome and amazing. But the third story.. why throw in that he's gay? Why not just the emails of him being a cheater to ruin his reputation and done deal. Then, not only do you sprinkle in homophobia but you get another person wrapped up in it and left embarrassed cause he just brought "gifts" for someone who never asked for them. Pretty f'ed up man.
The story about the grandpa reminds me of my father. He was a dentist and loved his job and he would provide dentistry for free or trade if someone was down on their luck. He was forced to retire on his 81st birthday due to health reasons. He passed away 3 years later. My mom says that dentistry was his passion and he didn’t know what to do with himself after retirement. At his funeral, so many people came to remember him and tell how he had helped them over the years. He was a hardworking compassionate man and I miss him ever day. I loved “Grandpa mechanic’s” story. Thank you!
Yeah, it reminded me of Heathers, where they tried to make the football player kid look like a closeted gay and that's why he killed himself.. very gross homophobia on OP's part and completely unnecessary.
Ngl, that last story felt kinda gross and like a bit of an overreaction. Sure, nobody likes to be lied to and cheated on, I absolutely support OP exposing that part to the guy's wife and the other girls. But sending the private, (presumably) explicit chat logs and photos to all those additional people who weren't involved? Hopefully she at least censored the other girls' information and pictures. Posting his personal contact information on multiple dating sites and making fake accounts impersonating him? Publicly outing him to everyone he knows, even if it was false? Implying someone's sexuality is something which should be weaponised and used to humiliate them? Dragging that innocent Tony guy into it and messing with his feelings (also probably embarrassing him when he showed up at the BBQ thinking he was going to a private, romantic meeting)? Nah. Not cool.
"I know I'm effin petty" after destroying not only the mans life, reputation and future, but also any chance he will ever recover without moving abroad and starting from 0.
I don’t give a fuck about the guy tbh, he had it coming fucking with so many other people. I’m more worried about Tony and the other people that reckless “revenge” affected. Also, the revenge porn she pulled on him, not classy or cool in any situation.
@@karma885 I definetly agree with you on all counts. But I can also understand where she is coming from. If I get mad, god knows noone in my way is safe.
I'm not gonna lie, that last story did NOT sit right with me, is that from the 1960's or something? It's fucking wrong to basically fake out someone for 'revenge', OP sounds like a bit of a fucking psycho.
jesus this video was a rollercoaster. story 1: not over the top with what the revenge *was* but I am a little... confused... about spending 3 years on a guy who messaged ops wife... but you do you, I guess. story 2: wholesome, fantastic, professional (literally). grandpa is great. story 3: uh . what the fuck? seriously?
Yeah, the last story was so nuclear-level bad that it overshadowed everyone remembering that the first story was in this video, and how average-level bad it was. Like, seriously, the guy premeditated his revenge for YEARS and REMEMBERED IT TOO! That guy needs a hobby badly.
He didn’t spend three years on the guy. He waited 3 years to send an email so it would have the most impact. He was living his life until the calendar dinged.
Mechanic Grandpa truly lived by the phrases "Live and let live" and "Don't poke the bear". The second car dealership owner acted like an adult and politely came to an equally beneficial arrangement. And Mechanic Grandpa sounded like a phenomenal person.
Man, the grandpa story got me all teared up. I see my dad in this guy, and I admire the fact that the grandpa wanted to help people just because he could and he loved it. Kudos to that person, may they Rest In Peace
Ive noticed that ever since you started doing just a bit longer videos, like 3-5 more minutes it’s been keeping the vibe going strong! I hope you have a great holiday and a health new year R/Slash!! From my family to yours!
Gonna be honest, op in the last story kinda sucks. Like yes, the guy who was cheating was a pos and deserved karma, but the way the op went about it wasn't right. I mean, what if the cheater really had been deeply closeted? Then she wouldve actually outed him to his entire family. Either way, dont get revenge at the expense of minorities.
The grandpa one made me tear up, what a good guy, it’s unfortunate that none of the kids or grandkids wanted to pick back up the hobby their grandpa had.
last story I think is fake or over exaggerated. 11 years ago you still needed map quest to get to places unless super rich. How did the sister get ahold of OP? Why did Jake message her after 8 years when he was put on blast for cheating and she was included, better yet how did he even find her ig after so long. Details like that just dont add up for me
You make a good point about the sister emailing her. But out of all the things you mentioned, I think finding someone’s Instagram randomly after a few years and reaching out in case they’re the same person is probably the most believable. What I found not believable is that he wouldn’t try and track her down and/or expose her online in the six months after she outright admitted to him that she ruined his life with libel/slander about his sexuality and all that. Like he has a viable case on his hands there, and theoretically would have enough information from meeting in person to track down her information if he wanted to. EDIT: Found the post. She has edits claiming she’s apologized to Tony since and that they’re Facebook friends (even though there’s no possible way he would have any reason to know her and even fewer reasons to be friends with her). So yeah, definitely fake.
RSlash - thank you so much for being one of the constants in a very crazy year. My husband and I listen to your episode every morning while we make coffee. We hope you, your wife and little girl have a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous upcoming Chinese New Year!
Nah, it's not just "lowkey." You're allowed to say that this is a case of violent, dangerous homophobia because it is. People in South America are attacked, r-ped, and murdered for being queer EVERY DAY with next to no help from family or law enforcement, and OP was putting the guy who cheated on her and the actual gay guy in serious danger. She weaponized her privilege as a cishet white woman against Latine queer people as a whole just so she could ruin the life of a cheater. She didn't need to do any of that homophobic shit to ruin him, but she did it anyways.
Exactly my thoughts! Like why make it about him coming out as gay? That’s so disgusting. And she possibly doxxed all the private photos from the other two girls… it sounds fake anyway but if it’s not, I’m appalled
I really don't like the OP in this story, especially what she did to Tony. I know some people are saying, "Oh, but she says she feels bad about it, give her a break!" Nah, she planned this out. PLANNED it. Meaning this revenge took some TIME. It's not like she just had a brief flash of rage and did something in the heat of the moment she now regrets. She chose to contact Tony, pretending to be Jake. That wasn't an accident. She said she was searching through Jake's emails, that alone would've taken time. She could have stopped herself at any point but didn't. That is not a spur of the moment stupid decision. She planned it, she spent time going through emails, printing stuff out, talking to Tony, changing the profile in facebook, everything. And now she decides to say she "feels bad" after the fact. Nope, I don't buy it. I would say the same if she catfished him using an old female acquaintance of his that had an unrequited crush on him, and it would be equally as shitty. The fact that she did so much to use the "ew gross, you're so gay, tee hee" route as a way to insult Jake just makes it worse. All she had to do was print out the text and email exchanges and distribute those to everyone (without pictures!), if she wanted to ruin Jake. And I didn't see anything about her maybe contacting some of the other girls to let them know he still had their nude pics, and that he was a cheater and they should get tested, or anything. She just used their pics- again, as mere props in her revenge plan. OP lost a lot of my sympathy by doing what she did, unfortunately.
Yeah, as a not closeted gay, this revenge didn't sit well with me. I understand and even appreciate the point of it, but it makes me feel like I am the worst sort of person that can exist. That said, as ways to ruin someone's life, 100% success rate.
She may have gone a bit overboard, but the scumbag started it. He is therefore at least partially responsible for the results. Don't USE people like he did, and they will not feel a need to avenge themselves.
I understand trying to oust a cheater, but to become that upset over a dude messaging your wife screams "insecurity", if not some type of issue therapy could help with. That's just overboard.
I gotta agree here, its kinda sad id like to know how his wife feels... she made it clear she didn't want it to go further and I cant imagine that was a fun experience
Am I the only one that felt that either the first story OP was being excessive or leaving something out? What the other guy did was wrong but OPs reaction seemed very extreme to me.
Not at all. At best the op's whole perspective reeks of overbearing, controlling behavior - ie not respecting his wife's wishes when she wanted to just turn the cheater away and let it go. At worst, there's much worse behavior on the cheater's behalf that we don't know about AND op still chose to just sit on that info for 3 whole years for his own petty satisfaction, robbing the cheater's wife of her ability to make an informed decision about staying with someone who was trying his hardest to (and possibly succeeded at getting to) cheat on her. It's gross no matter how you look at it.
No. First, threatening to kill someone over them talking to your spouse and “telling them she’s beautiful and asking for her phone number” is extreme and excessive. Men/women cheat on each other all the time. It’s not “ok” however you can’t make death threats over someone hitting on your spouse. Most normal people would let it go, but no, OP threatened to kill then guy and then hatched a life ruining 3-year plan and ruined his life. I mean, he got his leadership to force to guy to to write an apology letter and still went through with his plan. Thus, my comment. OP was excessive or he was leaving something out which would have better justified his response (ie something additional the other guy did)
To the last OP, making it appear someone is gay isn't petty, its sad and pathetic. Its as if you're saying being gay is a bad thing. And to drag an innocent guy into this, and play on his emotions? Way over the line!
Grandpa story- revenge is best served with a life well lived. I can’t believe the sheer audacity of the car dealership owner. If he kept his mouth shut, he would still be in business. I’m glad that the grandpa and the new owner worked out a mutual agreement that benefited the whole town.
Cheating poet: the singular best thing about this revenge is that OP admitted it to Jake, and it's only better by the fact that he can't do shit about it
That last story so much reeks of "And then everybody clapped", the low key ego stroking of OP, how easy everything was, it just seems very much like a made up power fantasy. Not to mention that the whole gay aspect is pretty homophobic.
In the edits (which rSlash didn’t include because they’re not relevant) she claims she apologized to Tony a couple of weeks after the fact and again 11 years after the fact when she made the post (read “got backlash on the post”). And they’re Facebook friends (despite her meeting him catfishing in the guise of her ex)! And that Tony is now happily married in Europe somewhere! So yeah, definitely reeks of being fake.
Hey rSlash, been watching you since 1 year. I saw your blow-up video before. Since then, I binged all your videos and you have been so helpful throughout from dark times to bright days. THANK YOU.
I love that you put ads at the end of vids instead of the start. I can use my headphones to skip to the next video and the ad. Perfect for hands free listening
The last story. She could have just told the other women and his wife he was a cheater, and leave it at that. Instead she demonized being gay, negatively impacted his wife and children’s life financially, and purposely lead an innocent person into believing his long time crush was interested in him. Last OP is simply a horrible person and not much better than Jake. `
Story 3 is gross. Showing the proof of cheating to the people who knew him would have been plenty of revenge enough. Instead, she drags innocent people into it, uses the LGBT+ community as a "gotcha!" moment and thus further pushing the stereotype of closeted gay men ruining marriages, embarrassed poor Tony who did nothing wrong, and (from what I remembered) shared revenge porn to an entire unsolicited email list! Why would OP brag about being such a disgusting human being?
That last story went a bit too far. Using sexuality as a weapon for shame was wrong. Not to mention how illegal that was (this is coming from my perspective as a Sec+ Certified Sysadmin for the past 15 years). Folks don't realize how fast computer crimes rack n' stack against them. Stealing multiple accounts is illegal and is a separate misdemeanor for each stolen account. Forging new accounts is also illegal, misdemeanors for each one, too, especially when they target one person. Impersonation of that targeted person is of course illegal, but this now ventures into unauthorized access and manipulation of networks and their data, which is felony territory. I stopped counting after 10 misdemeanors and more than 2 felonies. If that guy wanted to press charges, he'd have a hell of a case that would have ruined her permanent record. Look, I'm all for her getting revenge on that guy. F that guy for being a royal cheating asshat. But her chosen path for revenge was riddled with misdemeanors and felonies. She's REALLY lucky he didn't pursue charges.
Let’s not forget libel/slander and catfishing. The fact that he didn’t press charges proves to me that this story has to be fake, *especially* after that tidbit at the end of her telling him she did it. She’s practically begging for him to press charges.
Weaponizing homosexuality as a way to “ruin” someone’s image is so disturbingly damaging to the community and makes my skin crawl. I love revenge, but OP is no better than the guy who cheated on her for doing all of that.
For the last story: The moral of the story is that when it comes to Italian, NEVER play with their hearts. The moment I realized she was Italian and in love, I’m like, “oh shit, this bella is going to give this guy a bad time Sans from Undertale style.”
I remember when an nco ( non commissioned officer) shouted at someone to clean the floor, they turned around and showed off their RSM RANK SLIDE so this Lance corporal was shouting at the highest ranking person in the detachment who is the first rsm in 2 decades so in the end the nco was the one cleaning the floor along with the rsm’s boots among other things ( basic: no rank, Lance corporal: 1 chevron, corporal: 2 chevrons, Sergeant: 3 chevrons, staff sergeant/ colour: 3 chevrons + crown, SMI (sergeant major instructor) large crown, RSM: (regimental sergeant major) royal insignia
I can't believe the court decided that the grandpa was running an illegal business, when he wasn't charging anyone anything. How can it be considered a business if you're just doing people favors with no expectation of anything in return?
Is anyone else getting violent, control freak vibe from the first OP? I was waiting for the story to evolve that his wife was cheating on him. But he did this to someone (or two people, the story isn’t very clear), for flirting with his wife. And his violent message to the guy (or the first guy, still not sure) all be screams “I’m an unhinged, jealous husband.” It seems OP’s wife handled everything fine, and quickly shut down their attempts, but he needed to beat his chest. First OP isn’t a master of pro-revenge. He’s just a jealous husband who thinks he has something to prove.
The last story was wild! I do, however, disagree with bringing homophobic part into her revenge and making Tony a part of it. He was innocent and that was pretty crappy of her to do that to him.
I once hit the backside of a kid several times, the kid is in another class. This happened when I'm in 8th grade, a friend of mine recently moved out of town, and this kid started shouting his parents name, everytime he got the chance/my class's door is open, so i ended up getting pissed since my friend who moved out knew me since 4th grade. And i ended up in the school's counseling guidance room. And now, i knew, i have an uncontrollable anger.

@@LunaMane Not just malicious. Both hacking into someone's account and impersonating them are probably quite serious felonies in most countries.
As satisfying as her revenge on the guy in the last story was, I'd definitely give her an asshole score for catfishing an innocent man who might even still be closeted.
Yeah, she says herself that that was unnecessarily and wrong.

The whole story is a fiction.

I don't think she implicated every guy person tbh, 1 guy person as the story says.
Gay...christ my phone won't let me type gay
Also is that a common narrative? Gay men destroying families, like if a closeted gay cheats on his or her partner surely homophobia is issue not the gay people
@@samsoncooper1 It’s still one guy too many. OP played with Tony’s emotions to get back at the cheater
Moral of story 2: Don't mess with a nice person, you'll regret it

That last story is gross and not at all a cool revenge story. First off, I thought we had moved past using homosexuality as a tool for humiliation, but OP decided it was the ultimate reputation-ruiner and it reeks of homophobia. Second, bringing innocent people in to become collateral damage is sociopathic. Third, this was just way over the top and kind of insane. I've been the other woman (we started when they were actually separated but he was trying to get back together with her and lying to both of us about it) and when his wife messaged me asking for the truth, I told her straight up. No mess, no collateral, did exactly what needed to be done.
The story was 11 years ago..
Yeah, I felt bad for him. I mean, yeah, stick it to Jake but don't let innocent parties get hurt.
I feel like a parent giving you guys a stern talking to here
Also I'm aware that the story is more than likely fake its like a 90% chance this never happened and the person writing it is doing it for karma and attention but it's more fun to take them at face value and analyze it as if it actually happened but I really don't believe the story is real I'm only arguing in these comments because the story is having irl consequences of some of you guys thinking the actions of the main charater isn't based in homophobia.
Arachnophobia is an easy one to test this with, though it is a bit different of a situation because a lot of spiders can be directly dangerous to a person
Post script: Tony really shouldn't have been involved with it. that's just on her.

Posting his personal contact information on multiple dating sites and making fake accounts impersonating him? Publicly outing him to everyone he knows, even if it was false? Implying someone's sexuality is something which should be weaponised and used to humiliate them? story 1: not over the top with what the revenge *was* but I am a little... confused... about spending 3 years on a guy who messaged ops wife... but you do you, I guess.
story 2: wholesome, fantastic, professional (literally). grandpa is great.
story 3: uh . what the fuck? seriously?
Yeah I’m surprised that no seems to have picked up on how disturbing the first story was. OP comes across as very controlling and abusive.
Morning, getting back in bed for more rest, nice to enjoy some rslash. Happy Christmas eve to those who celebrate
God she the truly had an "It was Me Barry." moment.

Story 3 was kinda fucked up, like extremely. None of that was ok.
Worse yet she embarrassed and put a completely innocent person in harms way to get her revenge.
She shoulda just showed only the wife the cheating and that would be good
The grandpa one made me tear up, what a good guy, it’s unfortunate that none of the kids or grandkids wanted to pick back up the hobby their grandpa had.
last story I think is fake or over exaggerated. 11 years ago you still needed map quest to get to places unless super rich. How did the sister get ahold of OP? Why did Jake message her after 8 years when he was put on blast for cheating and she was included, better yet how did he even find her ig after so long. Details like that just dont add up for me
yeah it's fishy otherwise but 11 years ago you bought a $60 garmin GPS at best buy. GPS did not start with google/apple maps lol
@@EgirlKnievel she went to South Africa from Italy so who knows really, I just found many plot points hard to believe
I’m glad it’s fake because of the Homophobic thing “she” did
"I changed all of his passwords to "I'm a prick"". was gold!!
RSlash - thank you so much for being one of the constants in a very crazy year. My husband and I listen to your episode every morning while we make coffee. We hope you, your wife and little girl have a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous upcoming Chinese New Year!
Makes my morning every morning! Thanks for the vids!
Yeah the gay thing was really uncalled for. That was messed up, really homophobic if you ask me.
@@amiaswolfgang you're absolutely right. I'm taking that "lowkey" out.
Wow. So...we are supposed to applaud that last person for weaponizing their homophobia? Really?
Yeah
That Sergeant Major was a "Jody" No one likes a "Jody". Don't be a "Jody" 😡
Uh, the guy was a fellow soldier doing that to a deployed soldier's wife. Many levels of wrongness. He should have known better.

That story about Jake was nuclear revenge!
That last story should be on NUCLEAR REVENGE because oh my god that was awesome
Letting the guys wife know the truth was extreme?
OP was excessive or he was leaving something out which would have better justified his response (ie something additional the other guy did)
i feel like I'm having a beer with the narrator and we're just sharing great stories. i love the service shop and dealership story.
To the last OP, making it appear someone is gay isn't petty, its sad and pathetic. Its as if you're saying being gay is a bad thing. And to drag an innocent guy into this, and play on his emotions? Way over the line!
Forget effing petty, OP from the cheating poet story is effing ruthless! 👏👏👏
I hope that everyone is having a good Friday!
I'm happy to hear the wife is loyal. It makes me feel better after all your cheater stories
cheating poet:
THAT ISN'T PRO REVENGE, THAT'S *_NUCLEAR REVENGE_*
that UNIVERSE FUKIN REVENGE
Grandpa story- revenge is best served with a life well lived. I can’t believe the sheer audacity of the car dealership owner. If he kept his mouth shut, he would still be in business. I’m glad that the grandpa and the new owner worked out a mutual agreement that benefited the whole town.
At least Jake has a whole new community to support him -- maybe he can get a Netflix special about his life....
So yeah, definitely reeks of being fake.
it probs half-assed
That last one had more collateral damage than an American drone strike

That SGM's apology sounded pretty generic. I'm willing to bet he had it saved in a folder from previous used.
Dear [add name here]
I'm so sorry blah blah blah
The grandpa is amazing, I am so glad he seems to have had a pleasant life
The last story. `
That last story was some COLD ASS revenge!!! I don't think OP could've done much worse than that lmfao!!! That was some Supernova type shit!!!
Story 1: Playing the waiting game was a smooth move. OP destroyed that man for trying to hit on OP's wife.
~The best thing when waking up, Is Rslash on youtube!~
#3 is a nuclear example of "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"
The last story was pure gold.
I remember when an nco ( non commissioned officer) shouted at someone to clean the floor, they turned around and showed off their RSM RANK SLIDE so this Lance corporal was shouting at the highest ranking person in the detachment who is the first rsm in 2 decades so in the end the nco was the one cleaning the floor along with the rsm’s boots among other things

I can't believe the court decided that the grandpa was running an illegal business, when he wasn't charging anyone anything. How can it be considered a business if you're just doing people favors with no expectation of anything in return?
Why did she have to bring in poor tony into that mess lol not cool
LOL !!!! That pissed off GF story !!! The revenge !!!
That Grandpa is the purest soul. May that man rest in eternal peace.
That last story was more on the nuclear revenge side than just pro
Wow
She thinks she's petty? \there ain't nothing petty about what she did. I'd call that Nuclear Revenge. Melted down that cheater's life.
The last story was wild! I do, however, disagree with bringing homophobic part into her revenge and making Tony a part of it. He was innocent and that was pretty crappy of her to do that to him.
That last op really hit him with that "it was me Barry" moment
I once hit the backside of a kid several times, the kid is in another class. This happened when I'm in 8th grade, a friend of mine recently moved out of town, and this kid started shouting his parents name, everytime he got the chance/my class's door is open, so i ended up getting pissed since my friend who moved out knew me since 4th grade. And i ended up in the school's counseling guidance room. And now, i knew, i have an uncontrollable anger.
