True, I have samsung j4+ and i've spent hours trying to figure out how to disable it because im having trouble playing mobile games with friends while calling on discord. Its really frustrating.

What i need is to turn proximity sensor all time.bcz my phone wont shut off.it keeps waking up

Lots of tech users don't know what "data" means. I suggest you explain and emphasize that they will lose all pictures, videos, download files and other information stored on their device and that some of it may already be backed up to Google servers so they can restore it later. You can link to another video where you show how to enable automatic backup of app data and other google account data and customized settings. Also how to enable automatic sync with the photos app and how to do it manually before you reset and erase your phone. In that video you can link another where you show how to manually back up files to a microSD card or computer. Maybe suggest to use something like CX File Explorer or whatever app you prefer, so that the process will be the same on all devices. Keep up the great work.

Same here! The proximity data test after typing *#*#88#*#* starts off in a number greater than 1000 (around 1100), and just after physically covering the sensor and uncovering it, it works as if nothing had happened. Is there any way to change the values from to ?

u can use ur power button to end calls...u can find that option in settings until you fix your proximity sensor
run the Sensor Test first and see if the prox sensor is actually working.

yes the problem is the protector glass might not cover appropriately on the phone screen and especially covers the proximity sensor.
The solution is that remove the protector glass and put it again but be careful the protector shouldn't cover proximity under the sunshine you can see the top on left the screen there is proximity.

Pessoal do motog7 play e no resto ai que ja tentou de tudo a opção no motorola é na aba de desenvolvedor, ai você clica em "atalhos de desenvolvedor", vai ter "sensor off" você ativa, puxa a janelinha de cima do telefone e vai ter lá a opção "sensores off" igual a bolinha do wifi, você ativa e pronto, resolvido esta bagaça.
