There is no physical proximity sensor all over Xiaomi / Poco smartphones. Front camera + gyroscope work as proximity sensor in combination. This is the root of all the issues. It is not possible to fix what is missing.
Not exactly in my case my Poco F3 uses the proximity sensor + gyroscope because it's programmed that way for some reason. Block the selfie camera and place the phone near your ear, and you'll see the screen turn off. Use an app that activates the proximity sensor to understand it better.
Facing this issue in poco m2 pro.Guyz truly speaking all chinese companies are not up to the standard. Especially xiaomi has lots of issues regarding software updates. I prefer samsung, lg or other good brand

So if you use this app it will help. Instead of running your fingers across the top of the screen because there is no sensor on the Poco f3 just lift the phone to your ear as you see the light turn green continue the process save the settings and it will work

Go to Screen seetings to additional seetings for block Screen settings then disable pocket mode.. should be it....
