Er Hello, in a video about fixing an inoperative touchscreen, why are you using the touchscreen button? I did most of this stuff with Start and Volume up/down buttons but stopped short of the factory wipe of all data. I then used an old trick for getting a few minutes use from old dead hard-drives, I zipped the phone into a sandwich bag and put it in the freezer overnight. This brought it back to life for a few minutes while I salvaged pictures and videos etc. Then I figured the phone was a brick anyway so I tried taking it to bits. I started by scoring around the edge of the screen trying to work out how to gently pry it open, and to my amazement it came back to life for a few seconds. So I ran the tip of the knife around the screen again (digging out a lot of grime). This time it came back to life for longer. I tried a 3rd time and it came fully back to functionality and has been working fine ever since. Amazing, unexplainable but true.
I press and hold the power and volume button, a message came up and ask me to press volume button. It works perfectly.. thanks soooooon... I really appreciate it

Force restart fixed my LG right away. Thank you for the two button combo; I didn't know holding it them down longer made them do something other than screen caption.

if you switch off your phone pressing both volume down + power button or volume down + power button your screen touch won't work anymore... repeat same process to fix the touch not responding issue... this worked in my redmi phone... this works only for software problem

Can you help me out? I was playing roblox evade and then all of a suden my screen stopped working. I mean like walk and move my screen works but when i go to heal someone it doesnt work until i stop moving and click the button Edit: I restarted my andriod tablet a8 (not factory reset) I tried to force stop app, clean cache and powered it off and powered it back on But it not working I cleaned the screen an still nothing pls help I don't want restart because I have nowhere to save my data
It got fixed randomly after I cleaned it repeated the steps and powered it off and on serveral times and I left it in the cold for 1 hour so it was cold then heated it up then it started working perfectly fine

Most screen problems are system problems, not the screen itself. Therefore, it is possible to use the on-screen buttons to solve the problem.

Thanks this really helped replaced screen then touch didn't work managed to get into settings with volume and power buttons did a reboot and it worked 😊

if you switch off your phone pressing both volume down + power button or volume down + power button your screen touch won't work anymore... repeat same process to fix the touch not responding issue... this worked in my redmi phone... this works only for software problem

I was playing roblox evade and then all of a suden my screen stopped working.
I mean like walk and move my screen works but when i go to heal someone it doesnt work until i stop moving and click the button
Edit: I restarted my andriod tablet a8 (not factory reset)
I tried to force stop app, clean cache and powered it off and powered it back on
But it not working I cleaned the screen an still nothing pls help
I don't want restart because I have nowhere to save my data

It got fixed randomly after I cleaned it repeated the steps and powered it off and on serveral times and I left it in the cold for 1 hour so it was cold then heated it up then it started working perfectly fine

Thx so much, it rlly helped. My phone was lagging, and it was a hassle 'cause I rlly needed to wait for hrs for my phone to die, and I didn't expect there was a solution. I've been using this for yrs, and I felt silly waiting for my phone to die. Anyways, I def recommend this for all Android phones, esp the Poco M3. The trick of pressing and holding the pwr button and vol button really works. 💗
