Fix- Proximity Sensor issue on Any Android! [Updated]

Proximity sensor helps to turn off the screen when you are on calls to prevent unwanted touches and also helps to control Auto brightness of the screen. Some users have reported that they are facing issue with proximity sensor on their Android Phones. Here are some of the best ways to fix Proximity Sensors not working, along with how to check if it happening due to hardware problems or not on Android Phones.
We have used an Google Pixel 6 Pro, but this process will work for Xiaomi, Samsung, One Plus any android devices.

Who would have thought resetting network settings would fix a problem of having to press the power button twice to wake the screen. Thanks. It was the proximity sensor and that fixed it.

Disconnecting my wi fi and reconnecting seemed to fix mine. I did turn airplane mode on and off that seems to fix other issues too.

Hey, im having a strange issue. When im on call or sending voice msgs on whatsapp, my voice doesn't reach the other end. Then i thought it might be a microphone related issue. But when i record video or record audio in built in app it records audio.

@@user-os3hy8is5t I would use a glasses lense wipe and then use the wipe to clean the sensor. I also use the wipe for cleaning my Xbox controller! If it doesn’t work you can actually just restart you blackview and it works

On samsung, activate [developer] then go to Mosaic, then press Sensors Off.
