  • Initial trial of EC Tuner V2 on Lithgow LA101 .22LR using RWS Rifle Match Ammunition and Ransom Rifle Rest with Protektor Rear Bag.
Results were remarkable at settings 0, 15, 35 and 55.
Next outing will revisit those settings for reproducibility and fine tuning in 1 or 2 increment positions.
The NECCO challenge is a one off and thus not for repeating (maybe). They
have a good response to a 40 grain projectile.

Great video odd how adding a tuner makes it shoot about .3 high had same results with mine.
Had some very odd results the other day that I need to look into.
Good luck on the retest 👍👍

Very cool video. Were you able to test it’s repeatability?

Have not repeated yet. Plan to as soon as another weather day like that day. I'm looking forward to it!

It’s sort of bogus. Everyone trying to get repeatable results with a .22 have not been successful. For one thing, .22 ammunition is not consistent enough. Different brands or different lots create different harmonics. Now, if you’re a reloader, different story where all your components are carefully matched. Tuners shine in that environment. But TH-cam guys have tried the tuners and gotten good .22 groups. But if they start from the beginning and retest, the good groups are at a different tuner setting. So unless you plan to tune it every time out. It’s not much help. Most guys extolling the tuner virtues haven’t tried the repeat test.

I cannot disagree with your observations. I've tried the tuner on multiple outings.
For me never a consistent result. Even compared to stock barrel.
However, some of those at the range have and swear by their tuners. They tend to be the better shooters shooting custom builds. 🤔
