My cousin has this truck and I've driven it once. I agree with the acceleration part, it feels a bit sluggish at times. Also the gear stick is in an odd position for me but it was an okay ride. Can't really say anything much since I've only driven it once.

Which is better overall before buying..hilux or ford ranger? From performance ,reliable sapre parts good and cheaper maintenance for the upcoming future for the both truck..
My opinion is hilux. But ford ranger performance better slightly. I never own these trucks but it would be a good idea to search for owners group on facebook and they usually will discuss problems of the cars
Great video Louis. How does this Hilux compare to Mitsubishi Triton Mivec? Which one is more bumpy, noisy and which one gives you more better handling experience?
Hands down Hilux will be my pick. 2 main things, the triton is very uncomfortable, at least to me, it felt bumpier, steering doesn't have feedback at all. Hmmm

pick-up truck of course bumpy one.. i own hilux, ranger & triton. i still prefer triton the most when it comes for offroad driving.

Actually hilux revo is good however in malaysia the price tag of the top spec is just 10k less than the ford ranger wildtrak. This 10k difference from the wildtrak offers a lot more features which no pickup in the industry have.
If the price is around 120k for the top spec and will gladly buy it over the wildtrak since is cheaper
+Moonface00z I think some consumers are more inclined towards the Toyota brand which i think it's totally up to them, and i think Wildtrak is a 3.2l? which will also be a point of consideration for some as the climb in road tax is quite substantial.
can you tell me what Wildtracks offers but hilux does not?

Which is more responsive triton or hilux
Responsiveness is not a major difference but if you consider ride comfort as well, i prefer the hilux hands down.

+Dino Nesta ohh you mean is it bumpy? It is very bumpy and it doesn't perform very well in terms of handling in it's class. In fact it is so bumpy that I wouldn't choose it as a daily driver. Well that's just my personal opinion.
I'm sorry yes I mean bumpy. Oh that mean its still bumpy, hmm.. I thought Toyota have solve it in the new model lol. Agree with you bro, as a daily driver I'll choose another maybe Ford Rangers. But the disadvantages of Ford Ranger is their maintenance service and spare parts is more expensive. Hope you can test drive Ford Rangers in the new video. Thank you bro.

A lot of people say here in Philippines Toyota sedans and suvs are boring and overpriced. Despite of the disadvantages of having Toyota we still prefer this car because of its reliability, practicality, and affordable maintainance. You do not buy a Toyota Vios, Altis, Fortuner, Innova, and Hilux for performance but for everyday use, reliability, and practicality
You're right, and it's because of the demand that's why toyota won't back down on the pricing making their cars overpriced for the features consumers get
@@LouisSiah Yeah That is what I see in the pricing of cars of Toyota here in Philippines. Btw we use Toyota Innova as our everyday use. Even though it is boring to use the performance is enough for every day use and can accommodate a lot of loads. We did not have experience major problems in the engine and under chassis. The part that is repaired is the breaks. We did not regret in buying it. I hope our Innova will have more years to come.

wtf its so quite inside... or its because of the camera?
+E A the camera picks up even the slightest sound so i guess you can say it's quite quiet inside but you do hear road noise coming from the tyres.
E A this model is very quite interior

Oh it's partly due to the road as well, slightly sloped and straight so can get up to speed with less effort
6 speed transmission
It has 2 overdrive gears which helps a lot fuel economy wise.
