I have the GMMK full size and did same stab mods you did, made a world of difference. Also I lubed the Gat browns and it is so much smoother to type, so definitely do that you will like it. One thing you can do is buy a switch test set, some places will offer them in different sizes with all different types of switches to try out before you commit to a large amount. With a hot swap keyboard this make it easier to try different switches.

Hey Bro, Great video. Have to admit even after lubing the space bar still has some audible wire rattle. I would suggest 2 things if i may ( made quite a lot of custom boards )
1. Pull out the space bar wire and make sure its completely straight, put it down on the flat surface like your smartphone glass and push down the ends, if they ping you need to adjust them to make them straight so if you push it wont make any sounds. Just bend them a little to achieve straight line.
2. Make sure the lubed housing for the wire and pins are settled on the pcb tight. Sometimes they wobble and that creates wire ping. Id suggest a small piece of bandaid where the top part of the housing meets the pcb when you push it down.
I have same board and it sounds like a rumbling rocks.. no pings at all. took me a while. Wanted to keep stock stabs as they are white same as the board for the aesthetics ;-) IF not for that i would replace them with Authentic cherry stabs.
Also try to score Tangerine C3s switches. Bliss.

I used electrical tape instead of a Band-Aid .is that ok ?(didn't have any Band-Aids but it sounds/feels much better than before on my gmmk2 space bar

@@JoshTechgamer Ah yes, a chair! I bought a killer chair for my rig, it's a Herman Miller Aeron. I bought it from a used office supply store for $300 as they sell for $800+ new. It's like these new gaming chairs you see everywhere, but it doesn't suck... lol.

For me its the exact opposite. Whenever I press any switch with a stabilizer, it feels very mushy, and makes sort of a muffled sound, and I need to apply much more force that the 45g actuation to actually press down the spacebar. Any help with this?

Everyone I have a suggestion I did it myself and it’s amazing I got a cotton wool bud took the cotton off and put it on my stabilisers and it perfect
