Elley, thanks for this episode. I was out of state and missed this year's show. Havasu rocks and they are a great bunch of people. I hope to catch one of your field trips.😊
Great tour Elley of the L H C show. I may be down under but these glimpses of the community makes it seem so much closer and rock & mineral people are great people all over!🫶
What fun. We made it to Pilot Knob, CA. today. We love the gem show there. Thanks for sharing .
Rose quartz is beautiful
Thant great to see all the stuff. I wish I could be there. I was just west of Phoenix working but didn't have time to get up to Havasu. I'll be there next month hitting some of my favorite gold spots. Hope I run in to you when im there.
Great video! Will you be at the Mesa Flagg show in January?
Great looking stuff. It would be fun to find them out in the desert. I have been trying to figure out this desert gold mining game. Been at it now for three years and am not finding much. A speck or two here and there. Would love to have someone give me a geology lesson in the field so I can put the pieces of the puzzle together. Been working the Morristown area of Arizona. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks Red
Was that first crystal Morganite. Awesome video 📹 . We have a Club Santa Cruz Gem & Crystal Show in May.
Well I assume that you live in Arizona? I saw your article in the December 2023 ICMJ's Prospecting and Mining Journal so I decided to check out your You Tube channel. In the intro it looks like you like to explore old mines? If you ever wanted to come to eastern Oregon in 2024 to vist an old underground gold mine let me know. I have an old gold mine that I have never been in and am planning to explore it in 2024. Supposed to be over 3,000 feet of tunnel to explore. Been working on getting the entrance dug out and stabilized so I can be certain that it will remain open when I want to leave.😊
Elley, I would love to go on a field trip with you, but I live in Canada.
zamzam water
I need to move screw kansas. Esp right now lol
hello elley, would you mind answering a question for me? I'm currently trying to find common beryl inside pegmatite. Do I find common beryl inside quartz, inside feldspar, next to quartz or next to feldspar - or can all of this happen?
Is there any shows upcoming in Ca that you know of?
There is the gem and mineral show in Quartzsite. It’s technically in AZ but near the border.

Thank you
It is close to California.
Don’t you have a booth?
Where's the field trip info?
I'm not allowed to go to gem & mineral shows anymore. I try to talk people into letting me go home with them and sleep amongst their wares. 😂
Yep, I'd be broke by the time I left that place!
